An electronic fuel injection control device of the present invention has at least a fuel injection device for injecting a fuel devoted to a combustion, and a power source circuit for rectifying and stabilizing an alternating-current voltage generated, based on a rotation of a crank shaft; controls the fuel injection device in an internal combustion engine started by rotating the crank shaft through a manual operation; and further has a power source voltage detection mechanism for detecting a value of a power source voltage supplied to the injection device by the circuit, and an Information processing mechanism for starting an operation when receiving a supply of a direct-current voltage from the circuit, initializing itself, inputting a power source voltage value detected by the detection mechanism, and instructing a first fuel injection for the fuel injection device when the input voltage value attains a predetermined voltage value.

Acceleration/deceleration detection device and method for four-cycle engines

A rotor is provided such that the rotor rotates with a crank shaft of an engine. A plurality of detection sections are formed on a rotor periphery at equal angle intervals. A particular detection section is used for detection of a reference crank angle. A pickup is provided near the rotor periphery. A crank angle detecting apparatus receives pulse signals from the pickup, and sequentially detects a detection section time. The detection section time is a time interval from the front end to the rear end of the detection section. The crank angle detecting apparatus also sequentially detects a time between each two adjacent detection sections (detection section distance time), which is a time from the rear end of one detection section to the front end of the next detection section. A reference angle detection signal, which indicates detection of the detection section dedicated for the reference angle, is generated when at least two ratio conditions are met. These ratio conditions are decided based on the detection section time and the detection section distance time.

An engine start control apparatus has a power generating circuit that generates power by a starting operation of a starter apparatus that starts an engine, an engine starting circuit that is connected to the power generating circuit and to which various devices required to start the engine are connected, and an accessory circuit that is connected to the engine starting circuit and is provided with various devices that are not required to start the engine. Idling stop control apparatus

A system for controlling a flow of intake air in a secondary intake air passage during a start-up period of an internal combustion engine. A main intake air passage extends to an intake port of the engine. A throttle valve is located in the main intake air passage. The secondary intake air passage connects to the main intake air passage at a position downstream of the throttle valve. The system includes a heater to heat a thermo-sensitive valve provided in the secondary intake air passage. A valve opening degree of the thermo-sensitive valve changes as the valve is heated by the heater. The system determines a duty ratio that controls a drive current supplied to the heater. The system supplies the drive current to the heater by applying a voltage pulse at a predetermined period. The voltage pulse has a pulse width determined by the duty ratio.

System for controlling flow of intake air during start-up period of engine

An internal combustion engine includes an injector that injects fuel into a cylinder. A plunger-type fuel pump pumps the fuel to the injector from a fuel tank. A control system for the fuel pump includes a unit for determining an injection start timing of the injector, and a drive unit for driving the fuel pump for a second predetermined time that starts a first predetermined time earlier than the injection start timing. This control system makes stable combustion possible even when there are pressure variations in the fuel pumped to the injector.

The invention provides a stroke discriminator of an internal combustion engine which can quickly identify the stroke of the internal combustion engine. A rotor operatively associated with a crankshaft of a single cylinder internal combustion engine is provided on the outer periphery thereof with a plurality of detected elements. The rotor is provided, on the outer periphery thereof, with a detected element formed-region having a plurality of detected elements formed thereon at equal angle intervals in the rotational direction and a non-formed region having no detected elements formed thereon. The non-formed region has an angle interval greater than the equal angle interval, and provided on the rotor to pass near detector means when the piston of the internal combustion engine travels from the top dead center to the bottom dead center.

An apparatus for detecting crank angle position in an internal combustion engine, in which a first rotator, which is interlocked with the crankshaft, has a plurality of detectable parts in the rotation direction, the detectable parts on the first rotator are provided so that adjoining spaces are nearly equal to each other. A second rotator which is interlocked with the camshaft has a plurality of detectable parts in the rotation direction, the detectable parts on the second rotator are provided so that permutations each consisting of at least two of consecutive angle intervals in one rotation direction differ from each other. With this configuration, the stroke of an internal combustion engine can be determined in a short time.
