In an image forming device, at an end portion of a middle frame, a first protrusion and a second protrusion are arranged so as to protrude substantially parallel to each other. A plate-shaped arm extends from a leading end of the second protrusion in a direction towards a leading end of the first protrusion. A control protrusion is integrally arranged at a leading end of the plate-shaped arm. On the other hand, a rear side frame has a recessed portion. When the first protrusion, the second protrusion, and the plate-shaped arm are inserted into the recessed portion, the control protrusion passes a latching protrusion provided to the recessed portion, and the control protrusion and the latching protrusion are latched by facing each other.

Image forming device and method of manufacturing the same

In an image forming device, a Light Emitting Diode (LED) head is attached to a slide member. The slide member includes a slidable base side member and a leading end side member which can move with respect to the base side member in a direction that is different from a sliding direction of the base side member. The LED head is provided on the leading end side member, and a positioning pin is provided on the LED head. The LED head is positioned with respect to a photoconductive drum by the positioning pin.

An image forming device includes an image carrier, a charging unit, an exposing device, a developing device, a control device and a pair of position adjusting devices. Each of the position adjusting devices is respectively provided at a leading edge and a trailing edge of an output field of the laser light of the exposing device. The position adjusting devices move the exposing device in a direction intersecting with a plane including a rotational center line of the image carrier to adjust a scanning direction of the laser light to be parallel to the rotational center line of the image carrier.

An image forming device includes an electrostatic latent image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, a main frame which supports the electrostatic latent image carrier, and a developing unit which is inserted removably in the main frame. The developing unit includes a developer carrier which supplies a developer to the electrostatic latent image carrier and a replenish chamber which replenishes the developer to the developer carrier. The image forming device also includes a pressing body which is provided on the main frame and is slidable in a direction along a straight line orthogonal to a rotational center shaft of the electrostatic latent image carrier and a rotational center shaft of the developer carrier, and an operating unit which operates the pressing body to press a bottom surface of the developing unit by sliding the pressing body in a direction of the straight line and to hold the pressing body so that the developer carrier is maintained under a state making contact with the electrostatic latent image carrier.

Transportation of a document (P1), transportation of a recording sheet (P2), activation of a cutter system and simultaneous transportation of the document (P1) and recording sheet (P2) are carried out by a single motor (M) in an image processor (1). A first pendulum gear mechanism (16) selectively transmits the drive force of the motor (M) to a separation roller gear (g12) and a feed roller gear (g14), to a platen roller gear (g20) or to a second pendulum gear mechanism (g17). The second pendulum gear mechanism (17) continues or stops transmission of the rotational force of the motor (M) from the first pendulum gear mechanism (16) to a cutter drive gear (g28). Second and third contact parts (40c, 40d) of a regulating plate (40) regulate movement of the first pendulum gear mechanism (16) and change the transmission destination of the rotational force of the motor (M). The position of the regulating plate (40) and the rotation direction of the motor (M) are controlled by a CPU (50).
