A golf club head includes a weight object and a weight object receiving portion that is provided on an outer surface of the head and in which at least a part of the weight object is housed. The weight object or the weight object receiving portion includes a shape change mechanism that enables the weight object or the weight object receiving portion to change a shape of itself. The weight object receiving portion includes: a rotational force applying part that applies a rotational force on the weight object as a reaction generated when the weight object is pressed by the shape change; and a rotation prevention part that is located at a position abutting against the weight object when the rotational force is applied and that stops the weight object from being rotated by the rotational force and prevents rotation of the weight object.

Golf club head

In a head, a center vertical cross section passing through a face center satisfies the following (a) and (b): (a) when a boundary point between an inner surface of a crown portion and an inner surface of a face portion is defined as a CF inner surface boundary point, a curvature radius of a head inner surface at the CF inner surface boundary point is 6.0 mm or greater and 10.0 mm or less, and the head thickness at the CF inner surface boundary point is 2.0 mm or greater; and(b) when a spot located 10 mm apart from the CF inner surface boundary point toward the crown side is defined as a spot C, the head thickness reduces gradually from the CF inner surface boundary point to the spot C, and the head thickness at the spot Cis 1.0 mm or less.

A golf club comprises a shaft, a golf club head fixed to one of ends of the shaft, and a grip attached to the other of the ends of the shaft and defining a grip end. The golf club head comprises a head main body and at least one weight. The head main body includes a plurality of ports for attaching the at least one weight. A golf clubincludes a head, a shaft, and a grip. A club inertia moment about a swing axis is defined as Isw. A club inertia moment about a grip end is defined as Ige. Ige is 2760 (kg&#xb7;cm) or greater and less than 2820 (kg&#xb7;cm). Isw/Ige is equal to or less than 2.42. A club weight is defined as Wc (kg), an axial direction distance from the grip end to a center of gravity of the club is defined as Lc (cm), and a club inertia moment about the center of gravity of the club is defined as Ic (kg&#xb7;cm). A clubincludes a head, a shaftand a grip. A club length Lis 45 inches or greater and 48 inches or less. A ratio (Wh/Wc) of a head weight Wh to a club weight Wc is equal to or greater than 0.71. A moment of inertia Ix about an axis of a swing is equal to or less than 6.90&#xd7;10(kg&#xb7;cm). However, when the club weight is defined as Wc (kg); an axial-directional distance between a grip end and a center of gravity of the club is defined as Lc (cm); and a moment of inertia about the center of gravity of the club is defined as Ic (kg&#xb7;cm), the moment of inertia Ix (kg&#xb7;cm) is calculated by the following formula (1).&#xd7;(+60)&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)

A golf club set includes at least one first golf club whose loft angle is not less than 46 degrees and less than 56 degrees, and at least one second golf club whose loft angle is not less than 56 degrees and less than 60 degrees. A head includes a head body and a face plate fixed to the head body. The face plate includes a plate front surface, a plate back surface, and a plate side surface. The plate back surface includes a center of figure. The head body includes a receiving surface which supports the plate back surface from rear. An outer peripheral edge part of the plate back surface includes a projection part which abuts on the receiving surface. If a toe-side region, a top-side region, and a sole-side region of the projection part are defined as a first section, and a heel-side region of the projection part is defined as a second section, then a width of the projection part is varied in the first section.
