A heater includes a heater unit and a holder. The heater unit includes a flat and smooth substrate, a linear heat generator provided on a first surface of the substrate, a plurality of electrodes that supply power to the heat generator, and a protective layer disposed to cover a part of each of the electrodes and the heat generator. A second surface of the substrate is bonded to the holder. The substrate is formed of a transparent material. A plurality of positioning marks for determining the relative positions of the heater unit and the holder are disposed on the first surface of the substrate. The holder has through-holes formed at positions opposite to the positioning marks.

There is provided an ink sheet cartridge that includes a cartridge case having a case body disposed opposite to an upper surface of an ink sheet unit, driving sidewall portions rotatably supporting driving shafts of respective sheet supply and winding bobbins, and a supporting sidewall portion to rotatably support supporting shafts of respective sheet supply and winding bobbins. The ink sheet unit is detachably insertable in the case body, receives an ink sheet wound around the sheet supply bobbin, and includes a supply sheet case capable of drawing out the ink sheet therefrom at the time of receiving the ink sheet. The ink sheet cartridge enables replacement of the ink sheet unit such that the cartridge case is reusable and protects the replacement ink sheet from foreign objects and substances.

In a flexible printed circuit board, a terminal formation portion has a base portion extending a connection portion with a circuit pattern from an end, and a bend portion, bent along a bending line in a direction of insertion into an attachment hole of a printed circuit board, from the base portion, such that terminals are exposed outside. The flexible printed circuit board is attached to the printed circuit board by inserting the bend portion and the base portion into the attachment hole of the printed circuit board.

A drive section is disposed on only one side of a moving member. In the drive section, a coil is disposed sideways of a support portion so as to be in a vertically long state, and a guide portion is provided on an upper surface of the coil so as to extend from the coil onto a U-shaped yoke disposed on the side opposed to the coil. One side of the yoke is inserted into the coil. On an upper surface of the yoke is disposed a guide receiving portion which supports the tip end of the guide portion slidably. The yoke can be utilized to prevent rotation of the moving member, whereby it is possible to attain the simplification of structure.

Guided driving device for a moving head

A key switch device including a guide supporting member for guiding and supporting a key top. The guide supporting member includes a first link member and a second link member, both of which are formed of wire material. A pair of arms of the second link member are positioned inwardly of a pair of arms of the first link member, and the pair of arms of the first link member are made to cross the pair of arms of the second link member in order to make the first link member and the second link member rotatable at the cross section. The invention provides a thin key switch device whose guide supporting member has higher rigidity, and which can smoothly guide and support the key top.

A key switch device having a key top colored in a dark shade on the right and front side surfaces, in a light shade on the top surface, and in an intermediate shade between the color of the right and front side surfaces and the color of the top surface, on the left and rear side surfaces. In a substrate junction element for reliably connecting the substrates used in a magnetic disk device, wiring substrates electrically connected to the magnetic head are placed on a carriage, and then a main substrate composed of a thin-film substrate and a reinforcing plate is placed on the wiring substrates, whereby it is possible to prevent the wiring substrates from rising. Further, by superimposing the thin-film substrate extending from the main substrate on the wiring substrates, it is possible to prevent generation of a difference in height in the soldering portion.

A panel (3) having an inlet (12) for a disc cartridge (13) is attached to the front side of a mechanism body (2) consisting of a chassis, a magnetic head, etc., and the mechanism body (2) is elastically attached to the inner sides of upper and lower cases (6) and (7) through the intermediation of a plurality of buffer rubber members (11). The upper and lower cases (6) and (7) are integrally joined together to form a casing (1), and a buffer member (5) is attached to an opening (4) formed on the front side of the casing (1). This buffer member (5) has a rectangular frame-like through-hole (17) at its center, and holding members (5a) and (5b) formed around it are inserted into holding grooves (7c) formed in the cases (6) and (7). Further, a frame member (5c) is formed on the back side of the buffer member (5) so as to surround the through-hole (17), and the panel (3) is inserted into the frame member (5c) and exposed through the opening (4).

A head transport mechanism for reciprocating a carriage in a radial direction of a disc using a linear motor as a drive source is disclosed. In the head transport mechanism, cylindrical projections are formed on a support plate, threads are cut on the inner surfaces of the projections, and cutouts are formed in the distal ends of bottom yokes. The cutouts are brought into contact with the outer peripheral surfaces of the projections so as to locate the bottom yoke. In addition, protrusions protruding outward from superposed portions of the bottom yokes and top yokes in a longitudinal and/or lateral direction of the bottom yokes are formed in at least one end of each of the bottom yokes so that the top yokes can be assembled with the protrusions pressed when assembling the head transport mechanism.

Head transport mechanism for disc drive apparatus

A lower magnetic head is attached to a carriage and a head support member supporting an upper magnetic head is hinged to the carriage. The head support member is provided on its lower surface in a continuous arrangement with a first flat portion, an inclined portion and a second flat portion. A cartridge holder for holding a disk cartridge, and a cross plate are fixed to an open upper end of a main chassis. A driving pin is fixed to the cross plate. When the carriage is moved away from a magnetic disk with an auxiliary chassis held at an upper loading position, the driving pin comes into contact wit the second flat portion of the head support member to separate the upper magnetic head from the magnetic disk. When the carriage moves toward the center of the magnetic disk, the driving pin is disengaged from the head support member, so that the upper magnetic head is pressed through the magnetic disk against the lower magnetic disk.
