In a connecting structure of a terminal configured to connect a female terminal inserted into a terminal accommodating chamber to the male terminal, the female terminal comprises a tubular part made of a metal plate and formed into which the male terminal is inserted, a plate shaped engaging piece continued from a side wall of the tubular part and folded back so that the engaging piece is located in a path into which the male terminal is inserted, a notch formed on an outer side surface of a folded back part of the engaging piece. The male terminal is provided with a cut-out part which can accommodate the engaging piece, and the engaging piece is accommodated in the cut-out part when the female terminal is inserted to a set position to lock a movement of the female terminal in a pulling out direction.

Connecting structure of terminal

A terminal, comprises an electric wire connecting part having a core wire barrel part that crimps a core wire exposed in one end of an electric wire, the core wire being made of a first metal; wherein the electric wire connecting part is made of a second metal whose ionization tendency is lower than that of the first metal, wherein the electric wire connecting part is plated with a third metal whose ionization tendency is between the first metal and the second metal so that a plating layer made of the third metal is formed on the electric wire connecting part, and wherein the core wire barrel part is crimped so as to break down the plating layer formed on a connecting surface of the core wire barrel part on which the core wire is mounted.

Connector crimping terminal

A connector includes a housing formed with a plurality of terminal insertion holes into which a plurality of terminal metal fittings is inserted, respectively, and a spacer arranged inside the housing and coating the plurality of terminal metal fittings. The spacer includes main bodies fixed inside the housing, and a plurality of slit doors provided in the main bodies and divided into a plurality of small pieces by a plurality of slits. Each of the slit doors elastically deforms by abutting a terminal metal fitting inserted into a terminal insertion hole when the terminal metal fitting passes therethrough, and is brought into contact with the terminal metal fitting when the terminal metal fitting is attached to the housing.

Connector and coating member used for the same

An object is to provide a fixture for a component to be mounted on a circuit board which is easily manufactured and can exhibit good solderability and high whisker resistance. In a fixture which includes a solder joint plate partthat can be fixed on a surface of a circuit board by soldering using solder cream, and a component fixing partthat can be fixed to a component configured to be mounted on the circuit board, and in which Sn plating is performed at least on a solder joint surface of the solder joint plate part, the solder joint plate partis divided into a plurality of long-plate-like solder joint pieces, and on both sides of each of the long-plate-like solder joint pieces, wing-like joint feet are provided to protrude through bent flexible parts, and the lower surface of each of the joint feetbecomes a solder joint surfaceto be joined with the surface of the circuit board by solder cream.

Fixture for component to be mounted to circuit board

Slip-out preventing connector

A connector includes a connector housing that receives a terminal fitting, a spacer that is inserted into a spacer installation opening of the connector housing to prevent the terminal fitting received in the connector housing from being fallen out, a temporary locking mechanism that temporarily fixes the spacer to a temporary locking position where the spacer is not engaged with the terminal fitting, a main locking mechanism that locks the spacer pushed toward a more inner side of the housing than the temporary locking position to a main locking position where the spacer is engaged with the terminal fitting. The temporary locking mechanism allows the spacer to move from the temporary locking position to the main locking position.

Connector

A connector is configured so that a fitting part of a connector housing and a panel is sealed by bringing a lip part of a flange attachment part of a waterproof grommet for surrounding an outer periphery of a flange into pressing contact with the peripheral edge of an attachment hole when the peripheral edge of the attachment hole is held between a locking protrusion of a housing body and the flange provided at a rear end of the housing body. In the connector, the flange includes a plurality of flexible pieces which elastically displaces the lip part to the side of the locking protrusion so as to expand a proper plate thickness range of the panel capable of making close contact with the lip part.

Connector with grommet

A fixing fitting includes a solder connecting plate part soldered and fixed to a surface of the circuit board by using a cream solder and a parts fixing part which is fixed to a connector to be mounted on the circuit board. On a solder connected surface of a lower surface of the solder connecting plate part, V grooves are formed which suck up the cream solder applied on the surface of the circuit board in accordance with a capillary phenomenon. Further, a plurality of communicating holes which communicate with tapered parts of the V grooves and can suck up the cream solder by the capillary phenomenon are bored from an upper surface to the lower surface of the solder connecting plate part with prescribed spaces provided between them in the direction where the V grooves extend.

Fixing fitting of parts mounted on circuit board

In a fuse terminal in which a frame is formed by a bottom wall part, a pair of sidewall parts and a top wall part, a pair of contact terminals are respectively arranged at right and left positions within the frame, and the tab terminal of a fuse advanced into the frame is inserted between the pair of contact terminals and closely made in contact therebetween by contact loads due to elastic restoring forces of the pair of contact terminals, one of the contact terminals is a wound spring type contact terminal which is formed by being extended from the frame and folded for a plurality of times along the one sidewall part, and the other contact terminal is a leaf-spring type contact terminal which is extended from the frame through a flexible rod part and arranged almost in parallel to the other sidewall part via a gap.

Fuse terminal

A connector includes a terminal, a connector housing to which the terminal is inserted, and a lance provided inside the connector housing. When the terminal is inserted, the lance comes into sliding contact with the terminal, thereby being bent, and a locking portion of the lance returned by elasticity is engaged with an engaging portion of the terminal, whereby the terminal is prevented from falling out toward the rear side. At a lateral side portion of the lance, a protruding piece is provided, and at a side edge in the width direction of a peripheral wall of a box portion of the terminal, a rib is provided. When the terminal is inserted, before the peripheral wall of the box portion comes into sliding contact with the engaging portion of the lance, the rib comes into sliding contact with the protruding piece, thereby bending the lance.

A fixing metal bracket for a component mounted on a circuit board, includes a solder bonding plate section to be solder-fixed on a surface of a circuit board with a cream solder, and a component fixing section to be fixed to a component mounted on the circuit board. An annular through-groove is formed on the solder bonding plate section at a position surrounding a central area thereof. An island-shaped portion at the inside of the through-groove is separated from a peripheral portion at the outside of the through-groove while the connection part is remained. A step is formed on a solder bonding face of the connection part. Pure Sn plating is applied to the solder bonding face of the island-shaped portion and whisker resistance plating is applied to a surface of a portion other than the island-shaped portion.

Fixing metal bracket for component mounted on circuit board

A board connector according to an embodiment of the invention includes a connector main bodythat includes a connector housingand terminals and a metal fittingthat is press-fitted into the connector housing. The metal fitting is provided with a bottom plateA that extends over an entire width of the connector housing in a left-to-right direction. The bottom plate is provided with a pair of first left and right vertical wall-like press-fitting portionsthat correspond to left and right sides of the connector housing, a pair of second left and right transverse wall-like press-fitting portionsthat correspond to bottom surfaces of left and right ends of the connector housing, first soldering portionsthat are located at outer sides of the first and second left and right press-fitting portions in a left-to-right direction, and second soldering portionsthat are located at inner sides of the first and second left and right press-fitting portions in a left-to-right direction. Further, first press-fitted portionsare provided in the left and right sides of the connector housing so as to press-fit the first press-fitting portions of the metal fitting, and second press-fitted portionsare provided in the bottom surfaces of the left and right ends of the connector housing so as to press-fit the second press-fitting portions of the metal fitting.

Board connector

A press-contact connectorhas a first memberwhich accommodates a plurality of terminalshaving press-contact bladesand a second memberwhich is attached to the first memberand holds a plurality of wiresin an aligned state. The second memberhas a plurality of retaining portionscapable of retaining the wiresrespectively, formed in an approximate U shape and arranged in parallel to one another. The retaining portionhas claw portionswhich are provided at inner wallsto lock the wirein such a way as to contact with a bottom portionof the retaining portion, and lanceswhich are provided at serial directional ends of each retaining portionto urge the wirein the direction of the opening of the retaining portionin a cross section. Since each wireis held bent by the cooperation of the claw portionswith the lances, compatibility with automation is possible and the wirescan be held sufficiently.

Press-contact connector

A terminal support has a first main body. Wall plates are arrayed on the first main body in a first direction so as to define a first space between each of adjacent ones of the wall plates. The first space is adapted to receive a terminal having a blade portion and a sheathed electric wire. The blade portion extends in the first direction, and no clearance is formed between both ends in the first direction of the terminal and the adjacent ones of the wall plates. Chamfered portions are formed on both sides in the first direction of a tip end of each of the wall plates. A punch has a second main body. Press members are arrayed on the second main body in the first direction so as to define a second space between each of adjacent one of the press members. Each of the press members is inserted into the first space to press the sheathed electric wire against the blade portion of the terminal while each of the wall plates is inserted into the second space, when the terminal support and the punch are approached in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.
