A light source unit includes: a sealed semiconductor laser package including a laser diode that includes an emitter region from which laser light is emitted, the emitter region located at a surface of the laser diode, and a window member configured to transmit the laser light; a first lens structure configured to receive the laser light transmitted through the window member and create an image of the emitter region on an image plane; and a second lens structure configured to convert the laser light having passed through the image plane into a collimated or converged beam, and to emit the collimated or converged beam.

A curtain airbag attached to a vehicle body and expanded and deployed by a gas from an inflator containing: a first region along a lower edge; a second region adjacent above the first region with a first fold line; a third region adjacent above the second region with a second fold line formed on an opposite side of the first fold line across the second region. The first region is in a condition folded back at the first fold line to face a first surface side of the second region, the second region is in a condition folded back at the second fold line such that the folded back first region is between the second region and the third region, the third region is in a condition rolled upward on a second surface side. The processor is configured to perform control of reading second data of the logical volumes from the first physical volumes to the cache unit. The processor is configured to optimize the write information in response to completion of the control of reading.

A storage device includes: a plurality of first storage devices; a second storage device; and a control device to use the plurality of first storage devices as a primary storage and the second storage device as a secondary storage, control access processing to a plurality of logical volumes each of which indicates a virtual recording medium, register a logical volume for which a mount request is made within a predetermined period of time among the plurality of logical volumes in an management information as the logical volume which belongs to the same group, and allocate a storage area of the primary storage corresponding to each of a plurality of registered logical volumes which belong to a group registered in the management information to any one of the plurality of first storage devices such that an allocation destination of the storage area is distributed among the plurality of first storage devices.

Storage device and storage control method

A plating jig that can form a metal plating film simultaneously on both surfaces of a semiconductor wafer by one plating process. The plating jig includes a base section and a cover section that can hold a substrate to be plated, and a center section that holds the substrate between the base section and cover section; the base section, the cover section and the center section each having an annular portion having an opening at a center thereof; seal packings each having a conductive ring disposed thereon being attached to each of facing surfaces of the annular portions of the base section and the cover section; the substrate to be plated being disposed inside the opening of the center section; and the substrate to be plated being held from front and back surfaces thereof with the seal packings attached to the cover section and the center section.

A storage control apparatus includes a processor. The processor is configured to store, during a normal operation mode, first data as a first logical volume in a storage section of a first virtual storage device. The first data is transmitted and received between a first host device and a physical storage device. The physical storage device stores data in a physical volume. The first virtual storage device is connected to the physical storage device during the normal operation mode. The processor is configured to serve, during a data migration mode, as a pseudo host device connected to a second virtual storage device. A tape apparatus includes a tape drive and a processor. The tape drive is configured to perform data reading and data writing on a magnetic tape in which a plurality of tracks are formed. The processor is configured to control the tape drive to perform data reading and data writing on the plurality of tracks in a first segment among a plurality of segments obtained by dividing the magnetic tape in a running direction. The processor is configured to reserve a first track of the plurality of tracks as a copy target upon determining that an abnormality occurs in the first segment on the first track. The processor is configured to instruct the tape drive to copy data recorded in the first segment on the first track to a second segment on the first track at a predetermined timing. The second segment is adjacent to the first segment.

A storage device includes a first storage and a processor. The processor is configured to emulate an access to a physical tape with an access to a second storage. The processor is configured to store, in the first storage, first position information in which a first position in a first physical tape is associated with a storage position in the second storage. The processor is configured to receive an instruction to move data stored at the first position in the first physical tape to a second physical tape. The processor is configured to store, in the first storage, second position information in which a second position in the second physical tape is associated with the storage position.

Storage device and control method

A tape device includes a tape drive, a storage unit, and a processor. The tape drive is configured to write plural data units in a magnetic tape formed with plural tracks. The storage unit is configured to store information indicating a reversal position set in a middle of the magnetic tape. The processor is configured to instruct the tape drive to start writing of a first data unit in the magnetic tape. The processor is configured to control the tape drive to continue the writing up to an end of the first data unit when a first write area crosses over the reversal position. The first data unit is written in the first write area. The processor is configured to control the tape drive to change a write destination from the first track to a second track after the first data unit is written and to reverse the write direction.

Tape device and controller thereof

A curtain airbag device having a cushion portion connected to a bracket. The airbag includes a cushion portion that is accommodated in a long and narrow form, a bracket attached to a wall of a vehicle cabin, and a wrapping member that is wrapped around the cushion portion and the bracket. The bracket includes a base portion having an insertion hole, a vehicle fixing portion extending upward from the base portion, and protruding portions formed on both sides at a lower height than the vehicle fixing portion. The wrapping member has a root portion connected to the cushion portion and has hooking holes formed in a distal end thereof. The wrapping member is inserted into the insertion hole from the vehicle interior, folded back downward, and wrapped around the cushion portion toward the interior, and the hooking holes are hooked on the protruding portions.

A virtual tape device includes a storage unit, a cache determining unit, a selector, and a cache controller. The storage unit records logical volume information associated with an identifier of a logical volume, an updated time of the logical volume, information indicating whether the logical volume is allocated to a cache, an identifier of a physical volume storing data of the logical volume, and information indicating whether the physical volume are mounted in a physical tape drive. The cache determining unit determines, based on the logical volume information, whether the logical volume exists on the cache, when a request to store the logical volume on the cache is received and the cache does not have an available capacity. The selector selects the logical volume based on the determined result as an off-cache target logical volume. The selected logical volume is off-cached by the cache controller.

Virtual tape device and control method of virtual tape device

A virtual tape device includes a memory to record logical volume information that includes an identifier of a logical volume, an identifier of a physical volume that stores data of the logical volume, and information that indicates whether the data of the logical volume is cached in a cache unit, in association with each other. A determining unit that, when a copy command to copy data of the logical volume stored in a first physical volume to a second physical volume is received, determines whether a logical volume cached in the cache unit exists among the logical volumes, and a storage control unit that, when it is determined that the logical volume cached in the cache unit exists among the logical volumes, stores the data of the logical volume cached in the cache unit to the second physical volume without reference to an order indicated in the copy command.

A virtual tape device includes a storage unit, an instruction unit, and a reading unit. The storage unit stores a plurality of logical volumes. The instruction unit receives a request for mounting a specified logical volume from an information processing apparatus. The instruction unit issues a mount instruction to both a physical tape device communicated to the virtual tape device and a virtual device communicated to the virtual tape device when the specified logical volume is not stored in the storage unit. The mount instruction instructs to mount the specified logical volume. The reading unit reads data of the specified logical volume to the storage unit from a device which outputs a mount completion notification first among both of the devices which have received the mount instruction.
