A welded joint comprising an aluminum-based base material comprising an aluminum alloy or pure aluminum and a copper-based base material comprising a copper alloy or pure copper joined by a weld metal portion is provided. The weld metal portion contains copper in ranges of less than 75% by mass and silicon in ranges of less than 13% by mass and has a higher content of copper and silicon than the aluminum-based base material.

There is provided a heat exchanger and a fin material for the heat exchanger that can suppress occurrence of hollow corrosion in a fin and hold cooling performance for a long period of time under a high corrosion environment. The heat exchanger includes an aluminum tube through which a working fluid circulates and an aluminum fin which is bonded to the tube. The fin has a region B around a grain boundary, and a region A around the region B. In the region B, 5.0&#xd7;10pieces/mmless of Al&#x2014;Fe&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;Si based intermetallic compound, each of which has equivalent circle diameters of 0.1 to 2.5 &#x3bc;m, are present. Heat exchanger, and fin material for said heat exchanger

Disclosed is an aluminum alloy material for a heat exchanger fin, the aluminum alloy material containing Si: 1.0% to 5.0% by mass, Fe: 0.1% to 2.0% by mass, and Mn: 0.1% to 2.0% by mass with balance being Al and inevitable impurities, wherein 250 pieces/mmor more to 7&#xd7;104 pieces/mmor less of Si-based intermetallic compound particles having equivalent circle diameters of 0.5 to 5 &#x3bc;m are present in a cross-section of the aluminum alloy material; and wherein 10 pieces/mmor more and 1000 pieces/mmor less of the Al&#x2014;Fe&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;Si-based intermetallic compounds having equivalent circle diameters of more than 5 &#x3bc;m are present in a cross-section of the aluminum alloy material. The aluminum alloy material may further contain one or more additive elements of Mg, Cu, Zn, In, Sn, Ti, V, Zr, Cr, Ni, Be, Sr, Bi, Na, and Ca.

Aluminum alloy material for heat exchanger fin, manufacturing method for same, and heat exchanger using the aluminum alloy material

Aluminum alloy material containing Si: 1.0 to 5.0 mass % and Fe: 0.01 to 2.0 mass % with balance being Al and inevitable impurities, wherein 250 pcs/mmor more to 7&#xd7;10pcs/mmor less of Si-based intermetallic compound particles having equivalent circle diameters of 0.5 to 5 &#x3bc;m are present in a cross-section of the aluminum alloy material, while 100 pcs/mmor more to 7&#xd7;10pcs/mmor less of Al-based intermetallic compound particles having equivalent circle diameters of 0.5 to 5 &#x3bc;m are present in a cross-section of the aluminum alloy material. An aluminum alloy structure is manufactured by bonding two or more members in vacuum or a non-oxidizing atmosphere at temperature at which a ratio of a mass of a liquid phase generated in the aluminum alloy material to a total mass of the aluminum alloy material is 5% or more and 35% or less.

Aluminum alloy material, aluminum alloy structure, and manufacturing method for same

A first layer () and a second layer () are layered with an intermediate layer () therebetween. A clad material () is manufactured by heating and bonding the layered body at a temperature, at which the ratio of the mass of a liquid phase generated from the intermediate layer () is 5% or more and 35% or less, and by rolling the body. A method of bonding two members including an aluminum alloy material as one member, and an aluminum alloy material or a pure aluminum material as the other member, the method being characterized in: that the aluminum alloy material for the one member and the aluminum alloy material for the other member are composed of an aluminum alloy containing Mg of not more than 0.5 mass %; and that a bonding process is carried out in a furnace having a non-oxidizing atmosphere at a temperature, at which a ratio of a mass of liquid phases generated in the aluminum alloy material defined as the one member to the total mass of the aluminum alloy material falls within a range from 5% to 35%, on the condition that there is either a coated fluoride-based flux or a coated chloride-based flux between both of the members to be bonded.

Method of bonding aluminum alloy materials to each other

It is an object of the present invention to provide an infra-red light emitting phosphor having an excellent chemical stability and desirable light emitting properties. The infra-red light emitting phosphor is represented by a chemical formula: (ANdYb)VO, wherein A represents at least one element selected from yttrium (Y), gadolinium (Gd), lutetium (Lu) and lanthanum (La); x and y respectively satisfy the requirements: 0.01&#x2266;x&#x2266;0.3 and 0.01&#x2266;y&#x2266;0.4, provided that (x+y)&#x2266;0.5 and 0.2&#x2266;(y/x)&#x2266;6. A green-light-emitting phosphor of a high emission brightness when excited by blue light emitted from a blue LED is provided. The green-light-emitting phosphor is represented by a formula MSiOXN:Eu, wherein M is at least one element of strontium (Sr), barium (Ba) and calcium (Ca); X is at least one element of chlorine (Cl) and bromine (Br); a is 0.005&#x2266;a&#x2266;0.15 and n is 0.02&#x2266;n&#x2266;0.2. Substitution of a part of the oxygen (O) in a matrix with at least one halogen element of chlorine (Cl) and bromine (Br) gives a green-light-emitting phosphor of higher brightness.

An orange-emitting phosphor that emits at a high luminance when being excited by blue light emitted by a blue light-emitting diode is provided. This orange-emitting phosphor is an alkaline-earth metal silicate-based phosphor represented by a general formula of a(SrEuYb)O.SiO. In the formula, a is provided as 2.9&#x2266;a&#x2266;3.1, x is provided as 0.005&#x2266;x&#x2266;0.10, and y is provided as 0.001&#x2266;y&#x2266;0.1. An orange-emitting phosphor that emits orange at a high luminance and produces no harmful gas is provided.
