A bioelectrode () includes: a main electrode film (); a nonpolarizable electrode film () disposed on one surface of the main electrode film (); and a conductive gel film () disposed on the opposite surface of the nonpolarizable electrode film () from the main electrode film. The nonpolarizable electrode film () is constituted by an electrode film that contains supported silver chloride, the supported silver chloride including (i) a support and (ii) silver chloride supported on the support.

Bioelectrode and method for producing bioelectrode

An electrode material () includes: a porous support (); and silver chloride () supported on the porous support (). The porous support () is, for example, silica. The silica may be: wet-process silica such as precipitated silica or gelation method silica; dry-process silica; or the like.

Provided is a biological electrode tool including an electrode portion () attached to a human body to acquire a biological signal, and a lead portion () for externally leading out the biological signal from the electrode portion (). The entire areas of the upper and lower surfaces of the electrode portion () are covered with a nonwoven fabric () except for a portion that contacts the living body (). The entire areas of the upper and lower surfaces of the lead portion () are also covered with nonwoven fabric except for an external lead-out end portion (). A silver chloride paste contains: a binder resin; and supported silver chloride that includes (i) a support and (ii) silver chloride supported on the support. The binder resin is, for example, a polyester resin. The support is, for example, silica.
