There is disclosed a polyvinylpyrrolidone powder composition including polyvinylpyrrolidone having a K value of not lower than 60 and not higher than 130 and a secondary amine or a salt thereof. The poly-vinylpyrrolidone powder composition is produced by adding a secondary amine or a salt thereof to polyvinylpyrrolidone having a K value of not lower than 60 and not higher than 130, or by heat drying an aqueous solution containing polyvinylpyrrolidone having a K value of not lower than 60 and not higher than 130 and a secondary amine or a salt thereof.

It is an object to provide an acrylic resin composition dispersed in water. The composition has excellent appearance and sufficient dispersion stability, is stable even in one-package composition, exhibits physical properties of coating film excellent in water resistance, solvent resistance and weathering resistance, and sufficiently deals with recent environmental issues. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a coating film formed using such an acrylic resin composition dispersed in water. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a coating film formed using such an acrylic resin composition dispersed in water. The acrylic resin composition dispersed in water is an one-package composition obtained by combining a polymer comprising a monomer unit containing an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 8 to 24 carbon atoms and a (meth)acrylic acid monomer unit, an oxazoline compound having two or more oxazoline rings and a specific amine compound.

The present invention provides: an aqueous fast-drying resin composition which is excellent in the fast driability and can exhibit performances with regard to adhesion and resistance on a level with those of solvent type compositions; a production process for the aqueous fast-drying resin composition; and a use of the aqueous fast-drying resin composition as a gravure ink composition. An aqueous fast-drying resin composition comprises an anionic resin, a cationic resin, and a polyvalent metallic compound. In addition, another aqueous fast-drying resin composition comprises an aqueous medium and a resin component wherein the aqueous medium will be removed by drying. In this aqueous fast-drying resin composition, the resin component is combined with a polyvalent metallic compound and includes a combination of an anionic resin and a cationic resin. The production process for the aqueous fast-drying resin composition comprises the step of combining the anionic resin, the cationic resin, and the polyvalent metallic compound. The gravure ink composition comprises the above aqueous fast-drying resin composition and a pigment and/or dye.

The present invention provides an aqueous resin composition, which has good driability, and which is excellent in adhesion and various resistances, particularly, water and solvent resistances. The aqueous resin composition comprises a combination of: an anionic resin and/or an amphoteric resin; a polyoxazoline compound; and a multivalent metal compound.
