A structure for fixing a connector to a fixing portion includes the connector and the fixing portion. The fixing portion includes a bracket and a fitting portion. The bracket is erected on the fixing portion. The connector includes a lock portion configured to, when the bracket is inserted into the lock portion by attaching the connector to the fixing portion, lock the bracket. The fitting portion is configured such that a part of the connector is fitted into the fitting portion when the connector is attached to the fixing portion. The bracket may be integrally molded with the fixing portion molded with a resin. The fitting portion may have a hole portion running along a fitting direction in which the connector is attached to the fixing portion, and a slit may be formed in the fitting portion.

Structure for fixing connector

A lamp unit includes: a light emitting element; a reflector that reflects light emitted from the light emitting element toward a unit front; and a heat sink that supports the light emitting element and the reflector, in which a power supply attachment for supplying power to the light emitting element is attached to the heat sink, the power supply attachment is fastened to the heat sink at two left and right positions of the power supply attachment, and a connector portion of the power supply attachment is formed inside two left and right fastening positions so as to extend to a unit rear side relative to a rear end position of the reflector.

Lamp unit and power supply attachment

A board-mounting connector includes a cylindrical terminal and a housing holding the cylindrical terminal. The cylindrical terminal includes a cylindrical portion in contact with a mating terminal, a contact portion extending in a direction intersecting a fitting direction so as to be connected to a circuit board, and an intermediate portion supported by the housing between the cylindrical portion and the contact portion. The cylindrical portion includes a slit defined, by bending a plate-shaped conductor into a cylindrical shape and abutting one edge portion thereof against another edge portion thereof, between the one edge portion and the other edge portion. Further, the slit is formed such that a slit tip end portion located on a mating terminal side of the cylindrical portion and a slit base end portion located on an intermediate portion side thereof are located at offset positions in a peripheral direction of the cylindrical portion.

Board-mounting connector including cylindrical portion having slit with end portions offset from one another

A terminal is to be connected to an electric wire including a conductor core wire and a sheath covering the conductor core wire. The terminal includes a connection portion and a conductor fixing portion which is located rearward of the connecting portion and configured to fix the conductor core wire exposed from the electric wire. The connection portion and the conductor fixing portion are integrally formed to each other and are extended in a front-rear direction. The conductor fixing portion has through holes penetrating in a thickness direction of the conductor fixing portion. An end edge portion of each of the plurality of through holes on an outer peripheral surface side of the conductor fixing portion is provided with a tapered portion that increases in diameter of the tapered portion toward an outer peripheral surface of the conductor fixing portion.

Terminal and electric wire with the same

A board-mounted connector () includes plural terminals () and a housing () holding the terminals. The housing has, on its wall surface (), a pair of first holding portions () each covered with an inner surface of each of a pair of hood portions (), and a second holding portion () located more distant from a circuit board () than the first holding portions. The terminals include a pair of first terminals () held by the first holding portions, and a second terminal () held by the second holding portion. The second terminal has an intermediate portion () between a holding target portion () held by the second holding portion and a contact portion () to be connected to the circuit board. The intermediate portion is press-fitted in a gap (S) between respective outer surfaces () of the hood portions.

Board-mounted connector

A power supply attachment provides electrical connection to a light source and fixes the light source to a light source placement portion on a placement member. The power supply attachment is provided with: an attachment main body, which is provided with an attachment bottom surface that comes into contact with the placement member and which has an attachment opening for receiving the light source placement portion; a power supply terminal, which extends from the attachment main body to the attachment opening; and a first rib, which extends from the attachment main body to the attachment opening. The first rib is provided with a first rib bottom surface that becomes closer to the attachment bottom surface than the power supply terminal.

Power supply attachment and automotive lamp

A lever-type connector includes a housing and a lever movably attached to the housing. The lever includes a side plate provided along a side surface of the housing, and an operation portion connected to the side plate. A boss is provided on the side surface of the housing. The side plate of the lever has an elongate hole into which the boss is inserted to restrict a moving range of the lever. An engagement stepped portion is provided at one end of the elongate hole. The engagement stepped portion is recessed on its outer side. The boss has an engagement projection provided at its distal end portion. The engagement projection extends along the elongate hole. The engagement stepped portion and the engagement projection engage with each other in a state in which the lever has been moved in a direction that separates the housing from a counterpart housing.

Lever-type connector capable of operability

An attachment adapted to fix a semiconductor light source unit to a support member is provided. The attachment includes a frame having an opening periphery portion defining an opening to allow light emitted from the semiconductor light source unit to pass through the opening, and first and second conductive terminal pieces extending from the opening periphery portion. The first conductive terminal piece extends in one direction to contact a first power receiving portion of the semiconductor light source unit. The second conductive terminal piece extends in the same direction to contact a second power receiving portion of the semiconductor light source unit.

Attachment and lighting apparatus

A connector includes a connection terminal including a terminal section which is configured to contact with a mating terminal, a housing that holds the connection terminal in a state that the terminal section protrudes from the housing, and a front holder provided on the housing so as to be slidable along an extension direction of the connection terminal. The front holder is disposed at a first position in which the front holder covers a side portion of the terminal section in a case that the front holder slides forward in the extension direction, and the front holder is disposed at a second position in which the side portion of the terminal section is exposed in a case that the front holder slides rearward in the extension direction.

Connector

A first connector is fluid-tightly fitted with a second connector through an opening of a mounting wall. The first connector includes a cylindrical spacer fitted into the opening, and a housing having a support part and a housing body. The support part is mounted to a first surface of the mounting wall while being able to be displaced along a plane perpendicular to a connector fitting direction of the first and second connectors. The housing body has a leading end which is inserted in the opening with a clearance. A first ring-shaped seal member is interposed between the opening and the spacer, a second ring-shaped seal member is interposed between the spacer and the support part in the connector fitting direction, and a third ring-shaped seal member is interposed between the second connector and the leading end.

Waterproof connector connection structure

A vehicular lamp includes a light source unit that is attached to one of a lamp body and a reflector. The light source unit includes a semiconductor light emitting element that is a light source; a plurality of conductive members formed into a predetermined three-dimensional shape by press working a conductive metal material; and a housing that is formed of an insulating material. The plurality of conductive members each include: an element mounting portion to which the semiconductor light emitting element is mounted, a heat dissipating portion that dissipates heat generated when the semiconductor light emitting element emits light, and a connecting portion to which a connector that supplies power to the semiconductor light emitting element is connected. The housing holds the plurality of conductive members in a spaced apart state.

Light source unit and vehicular lamp

A connector includes: a housing including terminal accommodating chambers, and lances projecting into the terminal accommodating chambers and capable of withdrawing from the terminal accommodating chambers due to elastic deformation of the lances; terminals inserted into the terminal accommodating chambers and each including a terminal contact part formed on its leading side for contact with a mating terminal and an engagement part foamed for engagement with respective lance and a front holder fitted to a front part of the housing to move between a formal engagement position and a temporary engagement position to hold the terminal contact part. The housing is provided with an opening which exposes engagement points between the lances and the engagement parts in a direction generally perpendicular to an elastically-deformable direction of the lances.

A connector includes a female connector and a male connector fitted in a hood of the female connector. The female connector includes: paired guide grooves either provided at opposed positions on an inside wall of the hood; and regulation projections either provided on bottom surfaces of the paired guide grooves. The male connector includes paired guide ribs provided on an outer periphery of the male connector. The paired guide ribs either positioned in the paired guide grooves with the female connector and the male connector being fitted together regulate a relative rotational movement between the female and male connector. The regulation projections either in contact with the paired guide ribs regulate a relative vertical and transverse movement between the female and male connectors.

Connector capable of restricting a relative rotational movement between female and male connectors

The light source module includes a circuit board adapted to be placed on a mounting base of a light source holding member, and a power feeding attachment to supply power to a semiconductor light emitting device, the circuit board including a board part on which the semiconductor light emitting device is mounted, and a conductive circuit formed on a surface of the board part and having a pair of terminal parts and a light source connection part to connect the pair of terminal parts and the semiconductor light emitting device, the power feeding attachment including an electrically-insulating portion and an conductive portion partially embedded in the electrically-insulating portion, the power feeding attachment being adapted to be attached to the light source holding member such that the electrically-insulating portion presses at least a portion of the circuit board against the mounting base.

Light source module

A vehicular lamp has a light source unit having an LED and an optical element that performs light distribution control for directing light from the LED in a predetermined direction, a heat sink to which the light source unit is attached, and a lamp chamber in which the light source unit is disposed. The LED is an LED module formed by installing an LED chip on a power supply circuit board. The LED module is installed on a circuit board installation portion of the heat sink, and an attachment, which has a frame shape a size larger than the LED module and has a circuit board retaining portion at a center open portion of the attachment, is attached and fixed to the heat sink by a fixing member, whereby the LED module is held between the attachment and the circuit board installation portion.
