There is provided a structure capable of ensuring a bearing surface pressure on an inner diameter side and an outer diameter side of a washer even if a thickness of the washer is suppressed. In a washer used at a fastening portion of a vehicle, a configuration in which a bearing surface is sectionalized into two faces, an inner abutting face and an outer abutting face, by an annular groove is adopted.

Washer and vehicle structure

A constant velocity joint includes an outer race having a plurality of ball grooves formed in an inner spherical surface thereof, which ball grooves extend in a direction of a rotation axis of the outer race, an inner once having a plurality of ball grooves formed in an outer spherical surface thereof, which ball grooves extend in a direction of a rotation axis of the inner race and are paired with the ball grooves of the outer race, and a plurality of balls disposed between the ball grooves of the outer race and the ball grooves of the inner race. In the constant velicity joint, the ball grooves of at least one of the outer race and the inner race are partially formed with relief profiles to provide a plurality of relief groove portions such that a load applied to each of the balls located in the relief groove portions during torque transmission between the inner race and the outer race is smaller than a load applied to each of the balls located in the other portions of the ball grooves.

Constant velocity joint

A urea grease composition is disclosed, which comprises a urea grease and, incorporated therein as additives, a sulfurized molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate represented by formula (A): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represent an alkyl group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, m+n=4, m is 0 to 3, and n is 4 to 1 and triphenyl phosphorothionate represented by formula (B): ##STR2##

Urea grease compostition

A vehicle has an engine and a driven differential. This three part type propeller shaft assembly includes a first propeller shaft element, a second propeller shaft element, and a third propeller shaft element. A first joint, which is a Hooke joint, rotationally couples the to a one end of the first propeller shaft element. A second joint rotationally couples the other end of the first propeller shaft element to a one end of the second propeller shaft element. A third joint rotationally couples the other end of the second propeller shaft element to a one end of the third propeller shaft element. And a fourth joint, which is a Hooke joint, rotationally couples the other end of the third propeller shaft element to the driven differential. Two bearing supports, one disposed near each end of the second propeller shaft element, rotatably support it from the vehicle body. One of the second joint and the third joint is a Hooke joint, and the other is a constant velocity type joint. The phase of the two Hooke joints which flank the constant velocity type joint on either side is set to be the same, while the phase of the other Hooke joint is set to differ by 90.degree. from that common phase.

Three-part propeller shaft assembly incorporating two hooke joints

A vehicle has an engine and a driven differential. This three part type propeller shaft assembly includes a first propeller shaft element, a second propeller shaft element, and a third propeller shaft element. A first joint incorporating a Hooke joint rotationally couples the engine to a one end of the first propeller shaft element. A second joint incorporating a Hooke joint rotationally couples the other end of the first propeller shaft element to a one end of the second propeller shaft element. A third joint incorporating a Hooke joint rotationally couples the other end of the second propeller shaft element to a one end of the third propeller shaft element. And a fourth joint incorporating a Hooke joint rotationally couples the other end of the third propeller shaft element to the driven differential. Two bearing supports, one disposed near each end of the second propeller shaft element, elastically and rotatably support it from the vehicle body. The phases of the first joint and the fourth joint are set to be the same as one another, while the phases of the second and the third joints are set to be the same as one another and to be opposite to the common phase of the first joint and the fourth joint.
