A muffler hanger including: a displacement suppress member integrally provided with upper and lower support parts and a junction part that joins the support parts to each other at their lengthwise middle parts; and mounting rubbers that connect the support parts to each other at lengthwise both sides and each includes a pair of arch shaped parts having a mounting hole. The displacement suppress member is configured to attach to one of a vehicle body and a muffler. By inserting mounting parts provided to the other of the vehicle body and the muffler into the corresponding mounting hole, the mounting rubbers are configured to attach thereto. A displacement regulator that limits a relative displacement volume of the muffler in relation to the vehicle body is constituted by abutment of the mounting parts against the displacement suppress member.

Muffler hanger

A vibration damping bushing including: an inner axial member; an outer cylindrical member through which the inner axial member is inserted; a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting the two members; and a stopper member that is fitted onto the inner axial member as a component of a first stopper mechanism that limits relative displacement of the inner axial member against the outer cylindrical member to one side in an axial direction. The inner axial member is formed with a latching depression that opens toward an outer periphery thereof, and the stopper member is provided with a latching piece that protrudes outward in the axial direction. The latching piece is engaged with the latching depression so as to provide a slipping out prevention mechanism for preventing the stopper member from slipping out from the inner axial member.

Vibration damping bushing and manufacturing method thereof

A cylindrical mounting apparatus includes: a cylindrical mount having an elastic body elastically connecting an inner and outer sleeve disposed in mutually spaced-apart relation; and a bracket independent of the cylindrical mount and having a pair of support plates opposed to each other with a spacing therebetween. The mount is interposed between the pair of support plates and fastened to the bracket by a mounting bolt extending through a bore of the inner sleeve across the support plates. Two positioning protrusions protrude from an inside surface of one support plate toward the other, and a mounting plate is disposed on one axial end of the inner sleeve extending diametrically. A recessed engaging portion of the mounting plate is brought into engagement with the positioning projections to place the mounting plate in a predetermined position about its center axis on the support plate.
