A vehicle control device includes: dual-system control circuits that control power supply to dual-system winding sets of a motor; and dual-system rotation detection circuits. The control circuits calculate an absolute rotation angle of the motor, and, when a power source is turned off, store an absolute rotation angle of the motor at that time. The control circuits start when the power source is turned on and the absolute value of a difference between an absolute rotation angle that was stored when the power source was turned off last time and an absolute rotation angle that is calculated when the power source is turned on this time is equal to or smaller than a given threshold value, regardless of whether an abnormality has occurred in one of the dual-system rotation detection circuits or an abnormality of the dual-system rotation detection circuits is not determinable.

Vehicle control device

A vehicle power supply system includes a power source control device that executes a process of switching a connection state of a driving circuit to the main power source and an auxiliary power source including; a process of switching the connection state so as to transition to a backup state as a voltage decrease of the main power source occurs, and a process of switching the connection state so as to transition to a normal state as the voltage decrease of the main power source is resolved. After a voltage decrease of the main power source occurs, a turning-side control device of a steering control unit sets an output-limited state for a turning-side motor. The output-limited state is canceled upon the power source control device completing switching of the connection state so as to transition.

Vehicle power supply system and control method of vehicle power supply system

A vehicle control unit includes a controller configured to make a state transition to a normal control state via a start-up state after a power source system of a vehicle is started. The start-up state is a state where it is possible to execute a preparation process, required for making a state transition to the normal control state, by controlling an operation member so as to move automatically. The controller is configured to execute, in the start-up state: a forced-ending condition determination process of determining whether a forced-ending condition showing that the preparation process being executed is to be forcedly ended from start of execution of the preparation process is met; a forced-ending process of forcedly ending the preparation process being executed when the forced-ending condition is met; and a notification process of notifying the driver of forced ending of the preparation process.

Vehicle control unit and vehicle control method

An electric power source apparatus includes a drive control apparatus and an auxiliary control apparatus. The drive control apparatus and the auxiliary control apparatus are configured to communicate with each other. When one of the drive control apparatus and the auxiliary control apparatus is a first control apparatus and the other of the drive control apparatus and the auxiliary control apparatus is a second control apparatus, the first control apparatus is configured to continue a function to communicate with the second control apparatus even when the first control apparatus is not able to normally communicate with the second control apparatus, and configured to execute communication with the second control apparatus when the first control apparatus is put into a state where the first control apparatus is able to normally communicate with the second control apparatus.

Electric power source apparatus

A vehicle control device includes a driving control device configured to be supplied with electricity through a first power line and configured to execute a first process, and a steering control device configured to be supplied with electricity through a second power line and configured to execute a second process. The steering control device is configured such that, in a case where it is determined that power supply through the second power line has stopped during travel, when it is determined that the driving control device is not in a state of being able to execute the first process, the steering control device permits execution of the second process to stop, whereas when it is determined that the driving control device is in a state of being able to execute the first process, the steering control device does not permit execution of the second process to stop.

A steering control device includes a first reaction force control circuit and a second reaction force control circuit. Each of the first reaction force control circuit and the second reaction force control circuit are configured to control a reaction force motor, to execute, at a starting time, a preparation process including a process that requires the steering wheel to automatically rotate through the reaction force motor, and to store, at a time of execution completion of the preparation process, information indicating whether the preparation process has been normally completed. In a case where the first reaction force control circuit has been reset, when the information indicates that the preparation process has been normally completed, the first reaction force control circuit that has been rest is configured to not execute the preparation process at a time of restarting after completion of the reset.

Steering control device

A steering control device includes a controller configured to control driving of a motor that generates a torque. The torque is a torque applied to a steering mechanism of a vehicle using electric power from at least any one of an in-vehicle main power source and an auxiliary power source that backs up the main power source. The controller is configured to wait for the auxiliary power source to be charged to an extent that the main power source is able to be backed up and to permit the vehicle to travel when the controller is activated with an activation operation for the vehicle as a trigger and transitions to a state where control of the motor is executable.

A steering control system that controls a steering device of a vehicle includes a storage unit, and a control unit configured to make a state transition to a normal control state via a start-up state after a power source system of the vehicle is started. In the start-up state, the control unit executes a correction information storing process of acquiring correction element information using a state variable obtained from the steering device and writing correction information obtained based on the correction element information into the storage unit. In the start-up state, the control unit is configured to execute an abnormal condition determination process of determining whether an abnormal condition indicating that the correction information is abnormal is met. The correction information storing process is re-executed when the abnormal condition is met. The abnormal condition determination process is executed at least either before or after the correction information storing process.

Steering control system and steering control method

A power supply device includes a driving control device and an auxiliary control device, the vehicle including a main power source, an auxiliary power source, and a supply path, the supply path being a path configured to be opened and closed according to a state of a start switch of the vehicle. The driving control device is a device that controls a state of equipment installed in the vehicle and the auxiliary control device is a device that controls a state of the auxiliary power source. The driving control device is configured to execute a storage process, a permission signal transmission process, and an initial value process, and the auxiliary control device is configured to execute a permission signal reception process and a stop process.

Power supply device

A steering control device includes a control unit. The control unit is configured to execute a control angle calculation process, an angle feedback process, and a standard value adjustment process. The control angle calculation process is a process of calculating a control angle as an absolute angle relative to a standard value, and the angle feedback process is a process of performing feedback control on the control angle, and the standard value adjustment process is a process of adjusting the stored standard value. The standard value adjustment process includes a process of, when, in a straight-ahead state, the control angle deviates from a value showing the straight-ahead state, adjusting the standard value such that the deviation of the control angle from the value showing the straight-ahead state decreases.

Steering control device and standard value adjustment method

A control device for a vehicle includes a plurality of control circuits configured to control a control object by starting in response to powering-on of a vehicle and to perform power latch control for continuing to be supplied with electric power in a predetermined period in response to powering-off of the vehicle. Each of the control circuits is configured to perform starting after all of the control circuits have recognized the powering-on of the vehicle in a case where the vehicle is powered on while the power latch control is being performed after the vehicle has been powered off.

Control device for vehicle

A steering control device includes a control circuit configured to control driving of a reaction force motor that generates steering reaction force applied to a steering wheel in which power transmission with turning wheels of a vehicle is separated. When a vehicle power source is turned on, the control circuit requests a vehicle control device to stop traveling of the vehicle when information is exchanged with the vehicle control device in a manner that does not follow a predetermined pattern.

A turning control device includes a precursor detection circuit configured to detect a precursor of an abnormality by which a smooth operation of a turning device is impaired. The precursor detection circuit is configured to start measurement of a total running time of a vehicle when the precursor is detected, and is configured to execute a process of reporting the precursor, based on the measured total running time. The precursor detection circuit is configured to perform the measurement of the total running time regardless of whether the precursor is detected again, when a vehicle electric power source is switched off and then is switched on again after the precursor is detected once.

Turning control device

A power supply system includes a system control unit, an auxiliary power supply, and an auxiliary-power-supply control unit. The system control unit and the auxiliary-power-supply control unit are configured such that information of at least one control unit of the system control unit and the auxiliary-power-supply control unit is able to be output to another control unit of the system control unit and the auxiliary-power-supply control unit. The at least one control unit is configured to output information indicating that an operation of the at least one control unit is stopped to the other control unit when the at least one control unit stops the operation of the at least one control unit.
