A first seal and a second seal seal an annular space between an outer ring and an inner ring by sandwiching a retainer. A stator including a coil is supported by the first seal and is opposed to a magnetic ring. A sensor, a wireless communication circuit, and a power supply circuit are supported by the second seal. A wire electrically connects the coil and the power supply circuit. The wire includes a part disposed in a groove extending in an axial direction of a bearing on an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring.

Bearing device and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft

A bearing device includes: at least one bearing that has a rolling element and a raceway surface to support a main shaft; a member disposed on a path through which pressing force generating a preload between the rolling element and the raceway surface is transmitted; and at least one load sensor element fixed to the member to measure the pressing force. At least one load sensor element is a chip component including a thin film pattern of which resistance changes according to the pressing force and a protective layer that insulates and protects thin film pattern.

Bearing device, spindle device, bearing and spacer

A bearing device includes: a magnetic ring fixed to an inner ring; and a stator fixed to an outer ring so as to face magnetic ring. Magnetic ring and stator constitute a claw pole type generator. Stator includes a coil and a magnetic yoke surrounding coil. The magnetic yoke is configured by combining a first member and a second member that are magnetic bodies. First member and second member have an identical shape. Each of first member and second member has a plurality of second claws arranged in a comb shape. A plurality of first claws of first member and the plurality of second claws of second member are alternately arranged on a surface facing magnetic ring.

Bearing device, spacer, and manufacturing method

A bearing equipped with a sensor and incorporating a power generation function in a simple configuration is provided. A bearing includes an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements, an inner ring, a cage, a seal member, a sensor, a transmission unit, and a power generation unit. The sensor is disposed in the seal member, and detects state information of the bearing. The transmission unit transmits the state information detected by the sensor to outside. The power generation unit is disposed so as to face a bearing space sandwiched between the outer ring and the inner ring, and generates electric power that is to be supplied to the sensor and the transmission unit. The power generation unit includes an element that converts stress into electromotive force.

Bearing

The magnetic encoder includes: a core member of annular shape having a press-fitting portion which bends and extends from an edge of a track formation surface, and to which a rotary shaft is press-fitted and fixed; and two or more rows of magnetic tracks arranged adjacent to each other on a magnetic member provided on the track formation surface, each track having N poles and S poles alternately magnetized thereon. The two or more rows of magnetic tracks include a main track that has a largest number of magnetic poles and is used for calculating an angle of rotation, and a sub track used for calculating a phase difference from the main track. The main track is located on a side more distant from the press-fitting portion than the sub track.

Magnetic encoder, and production method therefor

A torque detection device includes an inner ring, a middle ring, an outer ring, a first beam, a second beam, a magnetic target, and a magnetic sensor. The first beam is composed of an elastic member extending in a radial direction so as to couple the inner ring and the middle ring together. The second beam is composed of an elastic member extending in a radial direction so as to couple the middle ring to the outer ring together. The magnetic target is fixed to the inner ring and the magnetic sensor is fixed to the middle ring such that the magnetic target and the magnetic sensor face each other. Torque acting on the inner ring or the outer ring is calculated according to how an amount of magnetism sensed by the magnetic sensor changes.

Torque detection device

A magnetic encoder having a plurality of rows of magnetic tracks and capable of detecting an absolute angle is easily producible with higher accuracy. The magnetic encoder includes: a core member of annular shape having a bending plate portion that bends and extends from an edge of a track formation surface; and two or more rows of magnetic tracks arranged adjacent to each other on a magnetic member provided on the track formation surface, each track having N poles and S poles alternately magnetized thereon. The magnetic tracks include a main track that has a largest number of magnetic poles and is used for calculating an angle, and a sub track used for calculating a phase difference from the main track. The main track is located on a side closer to the bending plate portion than the sub track.

Magnetic encoder and production method therefor

It is an object of the present invention to provide a rear wheel steering device of which the weight is not added to unsprung weight, and which can steer right and left rear wheels independently of each other. The rear wheel steering device includes a first rod connected to the left rear wheel, a first driving portion configured to axially move the first rod, a second rod connected to the right rear wheel, and a second driving portion configured to axially move the second rod. A single housing supports the first rod, the first driving portion, the second rod, and the second driving portion.

To downsize a bearing assembly with a rotation detection device, a magnetic generating element () having a directionality about a rotation axis O is provided on an inner race () side of the bearing assembly (). A rotation sensor () capable of detecting a magnetism of the magnetic generating element () and outputting information descriptive of rotation or angle is fitted to an outer race () side in alignment with a bearing axis. The magnetic generating element () is fixed to a fixing member, for example, a rotary shaft () that is fixed to an inner diametric side of the inner race () of the bearing assembly ().

Bearing with rotation detection device

A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus has a wheel hub integrally formed with a peripheral wheel mounting flange at one end and a double row rolling bearing. The double row rolling bearing has an outer member integrally formed with a peripheral body mounting flange and with double row outer raceway surfaces. An inner member, including the wheel hub, is formed with double row inner raceway surfaces each arranged opposite to each of the double row outer surfaces. Double row rolling elements are freely rotatably contained between the double row outer and inner raceway surfaces. The double row rolling bearing is adapted to receive a predetermined preload. A separate outer or inner ring is arranged on at least one of the outer or inner members. A preload varying mechanism is arranged at an abutting portion between the outer and inner members to vary the preload applied to the bearing. The preload varying mechanism can be extended or contracted based on an output signal from a detecting sensor to detect the vehicle running conditions.

Bearing apparatus for a wheel of vehicle

The bearing assembly includes a rolling bearing including a rotatable raceway member and a stationary raceway member. This bearing assembly also includes a to-be-detected member carried by the raceway member and having a magnetic characteristic which cyclically varies in a direction circumferentially of the to-be-detected element and has a cycle matching with one complete rotation of the raceway member, a magnetic sensor unit carried by the raceway member in face-to-face relation with the to-be-detected member, and a magnetic detecting circuit to supply an electric power to the unit and to process an output signal from the unit to provide an output to an external circuit. The magnetic characteristic of the to-be-detected member represents a substantially sinusoidal waveform rising and falling more steeply than a sinusoidal waveform at a zero-crossing point.

A sensor-incorporated wheel support bearing assembly including double rows of rolling elements interposed between respective raceways of outer and inner members opposed to each other, a to-be-detected ring having an eccentric or multangular outer diametric shape provided in the inner member and displacement sensors provided on the outer member confronting the to-be-detected ring. In the bearing assembly, the displacement sensors have facing portion areas, variable and invariable, respectively, arranged with rotation of the to-be-detected ring.

Bearing device for wheel

A wheel support bearing assembly comprises a stationary outer member and a rotatable inner member. The to-be-detected parts of angle detection sensors are fixed to the inner member and an outer race of a constant velocity joint connected to the inner member, respectively. Detecting parts of the angle detection sensors are fixed to the outer member in face-to-face relation with the to-be-detected parts. The bearing assembly also includes a load conversion unit detecting a relative angular difference between the inner member and the constant velocity universal joint by comparing the detection signals from the detecting parts to detect the load acting on the bearing assembly.
