A steering torque control process includes a process of calculating a manipulated variable for controlling steering torque to target steering torque by using a proportional element and a derivative element according to a difference between the steering torque and the target steering torque. At least one of the two elements, namely the proportional element and the derivative element, includes an enlarging phase controller. The enlarging phase controller is a controller that enlarges a degree to which a phase of the derivative element is advanced with respect to a phase of the proportional element.

Steering control device and steering control method

In a steering system including a steering operation mechanism, a second actuator, a steering angle sensor, a steering torque sensor, and a steering operation control device and a control method for the steering system, only a drive assist target steered angle (first target steered angle) is reflected in a final target steered angle when a torque sensor value (actual steering torque) detected by the steering torque sensor is equal to or less than an intervention threshold. When the magnitude of the torque sensor value is more than the intervention threshold, the rate of reflection (distribution ratio) of a driver target steered angle (second target steered angle) in the final target steered angle is raised as the torque sensor value is increased, and the rate of reflection of the driver target steered angle in the final target steered angle is lowered as the magnitude of the torque sensor value is decreased.

Steering system and control method for steering system

A steering system includes a steering operation shaft in which power transmission to and from a steering wheel is disabled and that steers a steered wheel of a vehicle, a steering operation motor that generates a steering operation force that is a torque applied to the steering operation shaft so as to steer the steered wheel, and a control device that controls the steering operation motor. When a rotation position of the steering wheel is different from a rotation position corresponding to a steered position of the steered wheel, the control device executes a process for correcting the steered position of the steered wheel to a position corresponding to the rotation position of the steering wheel through the steering operation motor.

Steering system

A steering control device includes an electronic control unit configured to calculate a target reaction torque that is a target value of a steering reaction force that is a force against steering input to a steering unit and to control operation of a steering-side motor provided in the steering unit such that a motor torque corresponding to the target reaction torque is generated. The electronic control unit is configured to calculate an angle axial force, as an axial component based on an axial force acting on a turning shaft that operates to turn turning wheels, the angle axial force being an axial force in which road-surface information is not reflected, and the angle axial force being determined according to an angle convertible to a turning angle of the turning wheels. The electronic control unit is configured to perform a guard process such that the angle axial force is not excessive.

Steering control device

A steering control device controls a turning motor that generates a turning force for causing turning wheels of which power transmission to and from a steering wheel is cut off to turn. The steering control device includes a first processor configured to change a steering angle ratio which is a ratio of a turning angle of the turning wheels to a steering angle of the steering wheel according to a vehicle speed through control of the turning motor and a second processor configured to change a degree of change of the steering angle ratio with respect to change of the vehicle speed according to a steering state or a vehicle state.

A steering device includes a turning shaft, a turning motor, and a control device that controls the turning motor such that an angle capable of being converted into a turning angle of a turning wheel follows a target angle that is calculated depending on a steering state of a steering wheel. The control device executes a correction process of correcting the target angle. The control device corrects the target angle such that the degree of an increase in the target angle is slower as the target angle approaches a limit value of an angle region, when the target angle increases toward the limit value of the angle region in either of a vehicle stop state or an extremely low speed state.

Steering device

A vehicle control system controls a steer-by-wire type vehicle. The vehicle control system executes: reaction force control that applies a steering reaction force to a steering wheel; and driving assist control that assists driving of the vehicle. The reaction force control includes road information transmission control that applies a steering reaction force component corresponding to an oscillation caused by road surface unevenness to the steering wheel. The vehicle control system deactivates the road information transmission control when a deactivation condition is satisfied. The deactivation condition is that the driving assist control is in operation and a steering parameter reflecting a driver's steering intention is less than a threshold. As another example, the deactivation condition is that the driving assist control that vibrates the steering wheel for notifying the driver of a possibility of a lane departure is in operation.

Vehicle control system and vehicle control method for a vehicle of a steer-by-wire type

A steering control device is configured to control a steering device as a controlled object, the steering device having a structure in which transmission of power between a steering portion and a turning portion is cut off. The steering control device includes a central processing unit. The central processing unit is configured to execute a reduction process in a case where at least either one of a travel state amount and a steering state amount is a state amount indicating that a target turning-corresponding angle does not change. The reduction process is a process of reducing a driving current to be supplied to a turning motor.

A steering control device includes a control unit configured to perform a calculation based on angle information and to control the operation of a turning section based on a turning control amount. The angle information is obtained by relating the turning control amount for operating the turning section to a steering angle that is an angle by which a steering wheel is steered. The control unit includes a speed increase ratio calculation unit configured to calculate a speed increase ratio based on state variables, and an angle information calculation unit configured to calculate the angle information by converting the steering angle using the speed increase ratio obtained by the speed increase ratio calculation unit.

A steering control device includes a target torque generator configured to generate a target torque which is a target value of the motor torque and a control signal generator configured to generate a control signal for controlling the motor such that the motor torque corresponding to the target torque is generated. The target torque generator includes a pre-adjustment axial force calculator, a first axial force calculator, a second axial force calculator, a post-adjustment axial force calculator, and a target torque calculator. The post-adjustment axial force calculator is configured to set a proportion of a first axial force contributing to a post-adjustment axial force to be smaller when a state of a vehicle speed is abnormal than when the state of the vehicle speed is normal.

Steering control device and steering system

A control device includes control circuits of a plurality of systems. When a transition condition is established, the control circuits of the systems make transition of a driving mode from a first driving mode to a second driving mode, and when a return condition is established in a state in which the driving mode has transitioned to the second driving mode, the control circuits of the systems make transition of the driving mode from the second driving mode to the first driving mode while gradually changing the current command values of the control circuits' own systems toward the current command values before the adjustment.

A steering control device controls a reaction motor that generates a steering reaction force applied to a steering wheel of which power transmission to and from turning wheels is cut off. the steering control device includes: a first processor configured to change a virtual operation range of the steering wheel according to a steering state or a vehicle state by controlling the reaction motor; and a second processor configured to change a degree of change of the virtual operation range of the steering wheel according to the steering state or the vehicle state when an operation position of the steering wheel reaches a position in a vicinity of a limit position of the virtual operation range.

A vehicle speed calculating device includes a vehicle speed calculating unit configured to calculate a control vehicle speed that is acquired by estimating a vehicle body speed that is a speed at which a vehicle is actually traveling, as a state variable used to control an onboard device configured to operate to realize various functions provided in the vehicle. The vehicle speed calculating unit is configured to include an extraction function of extracting at least one wheel speed acquired from at least one wheel that is assumed to be rotating in a state in which an influence causing a difference from the vehicle body speed is likely to be small, out of wheel speeds of a plurality of wheels, and a calculation function of calculating the control vehicle speed based on the at least one wheel speed extracted by the extraction function.

A steering control device is configured to control a steering system including a turning mechanism that includes a motor configured to generate a motor torque that serves as power for moving a turning shaft to turn turning wheels of a vehicle. The steering control device includes a control unit configured to control a target control value serving as a target of a control value for controlling the motor torque of the motor. The control unit is configured to perform compensation for the target control value; acquire an offset value; and change the target control value such that the acquired offset value decreases gradually.

A steering control device configured to control a steering device includes a control unit. The control unit is configured to calculate a torque command value which is a target value of the motor torque based on execution of angle control for adjusting a convertible angle which is able to be converted to a rotation angle of the motor to a target angle; calculate the motor control signal based on the torque command value; and change a control gain which is used for the angle control based on a change of a factor influencing a behavior of a vehicle in response to steering.
