A noise filter includes a laminate body including magnetic layers, line conductors and ground conductors, with one line conductor and one ground conductor alternately arranged in interfaces between the magnetic layers. With an electrical signal applied to the line conductors with the ground conductors grounded, a high-frequency noise is attenuated using a magnetic loss of the magnetic layer.

Noise filter

A laminated electronic component includes a composite obtained by integrally sintering a plurality of laminated magnetic layers, internal conductors being formed in the interior of the composite. The internal conductor and the magnetic layers constitute a plurality of inductance elements, or an inductance element and a capacitance element. The magnetic layer has a composition containing a primary component comprising 45 to 50 mole percent Fe O , 0 to 33 mole percent ZnO, and 6 to 20 mole percent CuO, and the balance being NiO, and a Mn compound wherein the Mn compound is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 2.0 weight percent as MnO in the composition.

A method of producing a Ni&mdash;Cu&mdash;Zn ferrite material comprises the steps of preparing a mixture of an iron compound powder having a specific surface area of about 8.5 m,/g or more, a nickel compound powder, copper compound powder and a zinc compound powder, the mixture having a specific surface area of about 8.0 m,/g or more; pre-calcining the mixture such that the pre-calcined mixture has a surface area of about 5.0 m,/g or more and a spinel crystal synthesizability within a range of about 80.5% to 98%; and milling the pre-calcined mixture to obtain a powder of a Ni&mdash;Cu&mdash;Zn ferrite material having a specific surface area of about 6.0 m,/g or more.

Method of producing Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite material

An oxide magnetic material comprises a basic composition consisting essentially of 45.0 to 49.0 mol % of Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 3.0 to 9.0 mol % of MgO, 1.0 to 4.0 mol % of CuO, 0.1 to 1.5 mol % of Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3, and the balance of NiO and additives, and contains, as additives, SiO.sub.2 and Co.sub.3 O.sub.4 incorporated in the basic composition in an amount of 0.1 to 0.5 wt % of SiO.sub.2 and 0.05 to 0.35 wt % of Co.sub.3 O.sub.4.
