A rotor having a yoke is rotatably supported in a frame, and a stator provided in the frame at a central portion of the frame. An annular first permanent magnet is provided on the yoke, and an annular second permanent magnet is provided on the yoke. A diaphragm is supported in the frame, and a voice coil is secured to the diaphragm and inserted in a gap formed by the first permanent magnet. At least two coils are provided on the stator for forming magnetic fluxes between the rotor and the stator so as to rotate the rotor.

Multifunction acoustic device

A speaker vibrating plate having a voice coil secured thereto is provided in a frame, a rotor having an annular side yoke is rotatably supported in the frame, and a stator having poles is provided in the frame. A first permanent magnet is provided on the rotor at a central portion thereof, and an annular second permanent magnet is mounted on the rotor outside the side yoke for forming a magnetic circuit passing through the rotor and the stator, and a stator coil is provided in the stator. A driving circuit is provided for energizing the stator coil for rotating the rotor.

A speaker has a case having a peripheral projection, a yoke made of magnetic material and secured to the case, and a permanent magnet provided in the case. A vibrating plate having a peripheral projection is secured to an outside wall of the case at the peripheral projection. A protector plate is secured to the case.

Speaker

A speaker vibrating plate having a voice coil secured thereto is provided in a frame, a rotor having poles is rotatably supported in the frame, and a stator having poles is provided in the frame. A permanent magnet is provided in the rotor for forming a magnetic circuit passing through the rotor and the stator, and a stator coil is provided in the stator. A driving circuit is provided for energizing the stator coil for rotating the rotor.

A multifunction acoustic device has a rotor rotatably supported in a frame, a stator provided in the frame. A permanent magnet is provided on the rotor, a coil is provided for forming magnetic fluxes between the rotor and the stator. Voltage detecting means is provided for detecting a voltage generating at the coil. A voltage detected by the voltage detecting means in the operation of the acoustic device is compared with a reference voltage which corresponds to a voltage generating at abnormal rotation of the rotor and for producing an abnormal signal when the detected voltage is equal or higher than the reference voltage. In response to the abnormal signal, the rotor is rotated from a low speed.

A cup-shaped yoke is axially movably provided in a cylindrical frame, and a cylindrical permanent magnet is securely provided in the yoke. A coil bobbin is cantilevered in the frame and inserted in a space between the yoke and the permanent magnet, and a driving coil is mounted on the coil bobbin. The yoke is held by a pair of coil springs for resiliently holding the yoke in the frame.

Vibrating device for axially vibrating a movable member

A case comprises an upper case and a lower case. A vibrating plate is secured to the upper case, a voice coil is secured to an underside of the vibrating plate. Each end portion of the voice coil is engaged in a groove formed in the upper case.

Microspeaker

A speaker diaphragm is supported in a frame and a voice coil is secured to the speaker diaphragm. A rotor having a central permanent magnet and a cylindrical hub provided around the central permanent magnet is rotatably supported in the frame. A motor annular permanent magnet is disposed around the rotor. The voice coil is disposed in the gap formed between the central permanent magnet and the hub.

The permanent magnet provided on the rotor is provided for forming a magnetic circuit passing through the rotor and the stator, and a stator coil is provided in the stator. A driving circuit is provided for energizing the stator coil for rotating the rotor.

A vibrating plate is mounted in a case, and a first coil is secured to the vibrating plate. A magnetic circuit composition is mounted in the case. The magnetic circuit composition comprises a yoke having a flange and a core formed on the flange, an annular magnet mounted on the flange of the yoke, and a top plate comprising an annular portion and a cylindrical portion projection from a peripheral portion of the annular portion. The magnetic circuit composition is resiliently supported in the case. A coil holding plate is secured to the case, and a second coil is secured to the coil holding plate. The first coil is inserted in a first magnetic gap formed in the magnetic circuit composition and the second coil is inserted in a second magnetic gap formed in the magnetic circuit composition.

Multiple-function convertor for converting electric signals to vibration of elements of a portable electronic instrument

A diaphragm is mounted in a cover for producing sounds, a vibrating assembly including a pole piece is resiliently mounted in the cover so as to be vibrated. A receiving portion is formed on the pole piece of the vibrating assembly for receiving a mass adjusting adhesive, so that the vibration frequency of the vibrating assembly is adjusted to a predetermined frequency.

A microspeaker has a case, a vibrating plate, a voice coil secured to the vibrating plate. A pair of leads are embedded in one of members made of plastic. Both end portions of each of the leads are projected from the case. Each of both ends of the voice coil is secured to one of the projected end portions of each of the leads. Both the projected end portions of each of the leads are bent along a periphery of the case.

An electromagnetic sound generator is mounted on a substrate. The electromagnetic sound generator has a case housing an electromagnet, which is formed by attaching a magnet and a coil to a yoke, and a vibrating plate disposed so as to face the electromagnet, and electrodes, to which terminals of the coil are connected, projecting outwardly of the case. The substrate has an accommodating portion conforming to the case, and substrate electrodes provided on the substrate surface at the circumference of the accommodating portion. The electromagnetic sound generator is mounted on the substrate by accommodating the case in the accommodating portion of the substrate and joining the electrodes of the electromagnetic sound generator to the substrate electrodes.

Mounting structure for electromagnetic sound generator

In the surface-mounted electromagnetic sound generating body in which a thin resin casing incorporating a sound generating unit is formed with a sound release hole, a sound leakage prevention member separate from the casing is provided around the sound release hole. This arrangement reduces the number of processes for assembling the surface-mounted electromagnetic sound generating body in the manufacture of a mobile phone and at the same time minimizes the volume occupied by the surface-mounted electromagnetic sound generating body on a printed circuit board.
