An opening-closing body control device for a vehicle includes: an opening-closing control unit configured to control an operation of an opening-closing body provided in an opening portion of a vehicle by controlling energization of a motor serving as a drive source. When the opening-closing body being moved based on a driving force of the motor is to be stopped, the opening-closing control unit sets a free running period during which free rotation of the motor is allowed, and executes brake control for generating a braking force in the motor after the free running period elapses.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a control device of an opening and closing member for a vehicle including a control portion outputting a control signal that switches a connection of a switch portion to control a drive motor closing and opening the opening and closing member mounted on the vehicle and a detection portion outputting a signal indicating the rotary direction of the drive motor to the control portion, wherein the control portion determines whether or not the switch portion is stuck on a basis of the signal from the detection portion, and in a case where the control portion determines that the switch portion is stuck, the control portion outputs the control signal for switching the connection of the switch portion so as to stop the drive motor and to maintain the drive motor in a stop state is provided.

A vehicle sunroof apparatus includes: a pair of first and second opening and closing drive units arranged in a widthwise direction, the pair of first and second opening and closing drive units each including: a rail extending in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle; a movable body provided so as to be movable on the rail; and a coupling mechanism configured to couple the movable body to a movable panel provided in a roof opening portion, and arranged at widthwise both end portions of the roof opening portion so as to be capable of opening and closing the movable panel; and a control device configured to control operations of the opening and closing drive units.

A vehicle sunroof apparatus includes: a pair of first and second opening and closing drive units provided in a widthwise direction, the pair of first and second opening and closing drive units each including: a rail extending in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle; a movable body provided so as to be movable on the rail; and a coupling mechanism configured to couple the movable body to a movable panel provided in a roof opening portion, and arranged at widthwise both end portions of the roof opening portion so as to be capable of opening and closing the movable panel; and a control device configured to control operations of the opening and closing drive units.

An electric actuator, which includes an exposed actuator terminal, for eliminating the need for insert molding and facilitating the manufacturing of a housing while preventing liquid from entering the housing. The actuator includes a motor. The housing is attached to the motor and includes an opening. A control circuit board accommodated in the housing controls the motor. An actuator terminal is arranged on the control circuit board and connected to an external terminal of an external connector through the opening. A terminal support arranged on the control circuit board supports the actuator terminal. A hollow fitting is attached to the terminal support and fitted into the opening so as to extend into the housing. A seal, arranged between the terminal support and the fitting, seals the housing.

Electric actuator

A power window device for use in a vehicle for raising and lowering each window glass. The power window device includes a drive unit for each door operable for raising and lowering the associated window glass. Each drive unit includes an EEPROM for retaining mounting position information of the position in the vehicle at which the window glass driven by the associated drive unit is located. A processor in each drive unit retrieves steering wheel position information of whether the steering wheel is located in the right or left side of the vehicle. The processor recognizes the position in the vehicle at which the associated drive unit is installed based on the mounting position information and the steering wheel information. This enables the drive unit to be used for both right hand and left hand drive vehicles.

Power window device

A sunroof device includes a roof panel having a first opening portion, a ceiling member having a second opening portion so as to face the first opening portion, a movable panel moved between a full-closed position and an open position, the movable panel passing through a half-closed position, a motor for driving the movable panel, a controlling means for controlling an operation of the motor, an operating member to be operated or released by a passenger in the vehicle, and a switch for inputting an operation signal for operating the motor, and inputting a stop signal for stopping the motor. The controlling means drives the motor until the movable panel reaches the full-closed position while moving towards the full-closed position by the operating member being operated even if the operating member is released after the movable panel reaches the half-closed position.

Sunroof device

A power window device for lowering and raising window glasses. A window switch is operated to move a corresponding window glass. A motor drives the window glass when the window switch is operated. An ECU is provided for each window glass to control the motor in accordance with the operation of the window switch. An engine switch shifts positions to drive an engine. A control signal generator generates a signal to validate or invalidate control of the ECU over the motor. A control circuit determines that a signal wire connecting the ECUs to the control signal generator is in an unexpected condition when a signal cannot be received. The control circuit overrides the signals generated by the control signal generator when the signal wire is in an unexpected condition.

A trapping detection device of an opening/closing member includes a motor, a motor speed detection device, a control device, a voltage detection device for detecting a drive voltage applied to the motor, an actual speed decision device for deciding the actual speed of a rotation of the motor, an estimated speed calculation device for calculating the estimated speed of the rotation of the motor based on the drive voltage, an estimated speed storage device for storing the estimated speed for a predetermined time, an estimated speed correction device for correcting the estimated speed based on a difference between the actual speed and the estimated speed obtained before the predetermined time, a trapping determination device for determining the trapping based on a change state of a difference between the estimated speed being corrected and the actual speed.

Trapping detection device of opening/closing member

An entrapment detecting device for an opening/closing member includes a controller which memorizes a driving condition of a driving unit corresponding to load applied to the opening/closing member as a reference load data when a predetermined condition is satisfied during the movement of the opening/closing member for closing. The controller further calculates a driving data representing the driving condition during the movement of the opening/closing member for closing after memorizing the reference load data, and an abnormality detecting data generated by eliminating the load during the predetermined condition being satisfied from the driving data based upon the driving data and the reference load data, and the controller judges an entrapment based upon the abnormality detecting data.

Entrapment detecting device for an opening/closing member

An open/close control device for a movable lid is of a highly precise position detection ability by using only a sensor which issues a pulse train in response to a motor rotation amount. When the open/close control device is in the form of a drive unit which controls opening and closing a sunroof, the drive unit includes a motor which drives the sunroof and a control device having a microcomputer . The microcomputer is fed with two pulse train signals from two Hall-ICs, respectively. The signals are in proportion to the rotation number of the motor but are different in phase. On the basis of the pulse train signals, the microcomputer counts a position counter for indication of current position of the sunroof in view of the motor rotation direction.
