A dental caries diagnosis device comprising a light source which is configured to emit examination light (R) and a light receiving unit () which is configured to receive the examination light (R) with which a tooth has been irradiated includes: a head-side casing (1) which is inserted into a mouth in a contactless manner with respect to a tooth or a gum and which projects the examination light (R) toward a tooth; and a filter () which is disposed in front of the light receiving unit () and which is configured to remove a noise component from the received light, wherein the light receiving unit () is configured to receive the examination light (R) which has been transmitted through the tooth.

Dental caries diagnosis device

A server capable of eliminating the inconvenience which is caused when a request is made after a 'back' operation on a client's browser. A request from a client is received, and processed in compliance with the received request. Confirmation information for confirming a display status of the client side is affixed to a result of process, stored, and transmitted. When a request is made again from the client, the confirmation information included in the request is extracted, and it is determined whether the extracted confirmation information extracted coincides with the stored confirmation information. A process performed in compliance with the request is withheld if it is determined that the two sets of confirmation information do not coincide.

Server with mechanism for preventing double registration of information provided by client browser

A data processing system which allows a client to request or release multiple computing resources with a single action. A grouping unit defines groups of resources, and those groups are maintained by a group manager. When a request is received from a client demanding a specific group of resources, a detection unit finds such a member resource of the requested group that is currently used by any other client. If the detection unit has found a member resource in use, then a determination unit determines whether the detected member resource is to be modified. A permission unit permits the requesting client to make access to the requested group of resources if the detection unit finds that none of the member resources of the requested group are being used by any other client, or if the determination unit finds that neither the current user nor the requesting client intends to modify the detected member resource in use.

Data processing system with management functions to allocate a group of resources to clients

In a server which receives a request of processing from a client, and returns a processing result of the request to the client, a result storing unit stores at least one processing result of at least one request. When a determination unit determines that no other request which is identical to a request received from a client has been processed, an execution unit executes processing of the request received from the client, and stores a result of the processing in the result storing unit. When the determination unit determines that another request which is identical to a request received from a client has already been processed, a transmission unit transmits to the client one of the at least one processing result corresponding to the request received from the client.
