There is a film-press spring for pressing a photographic film on a take-up spool in a take-up chamber. The film-press spring has a main body for guiding a leading end of the photographic film at the beginning of the film winding and a plate bended in U-shape against the main body. A pressing arm which is protruded from the main body presses the photographic film to a periphery of the take-up spool. And a fitting arm which is elastic enough to be transformed is protruded from the plate. When inserted into the spring attachment hollow of the take-up chamber, the fitting arm presses the wall surface of the spring attachment hollow. And a slipping prevention claw of the plate is engaged with the wall surface of the spring attachment hollow.

Film-winding device for camera

After loading a film cassette into a cassette chamber, a lid of the cassette chamber is closed. Interlocking with the lid, a lid lock member is moved to a lock position to lock the lid. When the lid lock member is moved to the lock position, a shutter lock member allows to operate a shutter release button. When the shutter release button is operated, a shutter is driven and a photo film is advanced. When the lid lock member is moved to an unlock position, the lid is opened. When the cassette chamber is opened, the shutter lock member prevents the operation of the shutter release button to prohibit the advancing of the photo film.

A cartridge loading chamber for IX 240 type cartridge (so-called APS cartridge) usually has a bottom lid. A lid of the invention has a function for detecting whether the cartridge exists in the cartridge loading chamber by installing a detecting mechanism on the lid which includes a projection member spring-biased and a electric switch made of a pair of metal leaves capable of switching on/off in association with movement of the projection member made by being pushed by the bottom of the cartridge when the lid is closed.

Device for detecting loading of film cartridge

A camera includes a cassette holder chamber for receiving insertion of a photo film cassette. A take-up chamber takes up photo film drawn from the photo film cassette. An exposure chamber is disposed between the cassette holder chamber and the take-up chamber, for introducing object light to the photo film to provide an exposure. A part holder chamber is disposed between the cassette holder chamber and the exposure chamber. A main capacitor for flash emission has a tubular shape, and is contained in the part holder chamber. A through opening is formed between the cassette holder chamber and the part holder chamber, for internally connecting the cassette holder chamber and the part holder chamber to one another.

A camera has a spool drive shaft disposed to project from an inside of a cassette holder chamber, connected with a spool of a photo film cassette coaxially, to feed a photo film from a cassette, and to wind the photo film back into the cassette. A sun and planet gear mechanism includes a sun gear for rotating in a first direction in response to forward rotation in a first direction in response to forward rotation of a motor, and for rotating in a second direction in response to the backward rotation of the motor. A feeding planet gear and returning planet gear are meshed with the sun gear. Two feeding transmission gears are meshed with the feeding planet gear for rotating in the first direction in response to forward rotation. A returning transmission gear is meshed with the returning planet gear for rotating in the first direction in response to backward rotation, to cause a spool drive shaft to rotate in the winding direction. The two feeding transmission gears and returning transmission gear are disposed coaxially with one another.

Camera loadable with photo film cassette

A camera, which is loaded with a film cartridge having a light lock door for closing and opening a film egress/ingress slot and an indicator attached to a cartridge spool for providing a visible indication that a filmstrip in the cartridge is exposed at a specific angular position of rotation of the cartridge spool, is provided, at the bottom of a cartridge chamber of the camera, with a bottom lid for opening and closing the cartridge chamber and a lock/unlock key movable between lid lock position and a lid unlock position. The movement of the lock/unlock key toward the lid unlock position is accompanied by rotation of the cartridge spool into the specific angular position and movement of the light lock door to the film egress/ingress slot closed.

A camera with a lens barrier is provided with a slide member, which moves together with the lens barrier over a certain range of motion. A locking portion for keeping a strobe button locked and a stopper for limiting the push-down movement amount of the strobe button are integrated in the slide member. When the lens barrier is positioned at a position other than an opening position, the locking portion prevents the strobe button from being pushed down. When the lens barrier is positioned at the opening position, the locking portion moves away from the strobe button so that the strobe button can be pushed down, and the stopper limits the push-down movement amount of the strobe button. Thus, the locking portion for keeping the strobe button locked and the stopper for limiting the push-down movement amount of the strobe button are integrated so that the number of parts can be decreased to simplify the structure and lower the production cost.

A photographic camera has a cartridge chamber in which is loaded a film cartridge having a roll film entirely rolled to its leading end around a spool in a cartridge body and a light-shielding shutter member for opening and shutting a film exit slit formed in the cartridge body, an entrance opening to the cartridge chamber, and a chamber lid which is mounted on the camera to be moved between an opening position where it opens the entrance opening and a closed position where it closes the entrance opening. A shutter lock member moves to a shutter locking position, where it prevents release of the shutter of the camera, in response to operation of a rewind button. A holding member holds the shutter lock member in the shutter locking position, and a release member causes the holding member to release the shutter lock member after closure of the light-shielding shutter member of the film cartridge in response to opening of the chamber lid.

Photographic camera

A lens barrel for a zoom lens having front and rear lens groups has a rotary barrel which is rotatable about the optical axis and moves the front lens group in the direction of the optical axis in response to its rotation. A focusing cam groove formed on the inner surface of the rotary barrel guides the rear lens group to focus the zoom lens in response to rotation of the rotary barrel, and a zooming can groove formed on the inner surface of the rotary barrel in parallel to the focusing cam groove guides the rear lens group to zoom the zoom lens in response to rotation of the rotary barrel.

Lens barrel

A feeding tooth of a one-tooth sprocket retracts from a film so that the film can be prevented from being damaged by the feeding tooth of the one-tooth sprocket when the film is rewound. When a motor rotates in a film winding direction, a rewinding fork becomes free and a spool and the one-tooth sprocket rotates in a winding direction. As a result, the feeding tooth of the one-tooth sprocket engages with a perforation of the film to feed the end of the film up to the spool. On the other hand, when the motor rotates in the film rewinding direction, the one-tooth sprocket becomes free and the spool and the rewinding fork rotate in the rewinding direction. As a result, the film is wound around a rotation axis of a patrone. In this case, the feeding tooth of the one-tooth sprocket retracts from the film.

Film feed device of camera

A film initial-advance apparatus for a camera which enables the initial advance of a film by a reciprocating feeding claw, and in which a gear train for film feeding and driving members are disposed on the same side of a spool. A feeding member is disposed on a reciprocating driving member which reciprocates in the direction of film feeding. A gear train for feeding the film is connected to the driving gear on the side of the reciprocating driving member, and the rotational driving force of the driving gear is transduced to the reciprocating movement for reciprocating the reciprocating driving member. A cam groove is formed in the reciprocating driving member, and the feeding claw is advanced toward and withdrawn from a perforation of the film. The speed of the reciprocating movement of the reciprocating driving member is set to be lower than the film feeding speed.

Film initial-advance apparatus for camera

A camera with a lens barrier is provided with a slide member, which moves together with the lens barrier over a certain range of motion. A locking portion for keeping a shutter button locked and a stopper for limiting the push-down movement amount of the shutter button are integrated in the slide member. When the lens barrier is positioned at a position other than an opening position, the locking portion prevents the shutter button from being pushed down. When the lens barrier is positioned at the opening position, the locking portion moves away from the shutter button so that the shutter button can be pushed down, and the stopper limits the push-down movement amount of the shutter button. Thus, the locking portion for keeping the shutter button locked and the stopper for limiting the push-down movement amount of the shutter button are integrated so that the number of parts can be decreased to simplify the structure and lower the production cost.

Camera with lock-controlling lens barrier

The present invention provides a camera enabling effective use of parts retrieved from a used lens-mounted film. Members retrieved from a lens-mounted film and responsible for film feed and release operation; such as, a sprocket, a sprocket axis with a charge cam attached, a drive lever, and a locking lever are mounted in a camera as they are. A release mechanism is included to release a frame stop state set for frame-by-frame film feed and a state in which the turn of a film wind knob is disabled, whereby film rewind is enabled. A strobe circuit board containing a strobe flashing unit and a control circuit is recycled for a camera permitting film rewind. In this case, a flashing capacitor mounted on the retrieved strobe circuit board is angled at lead wires so that the flashing capacitor can be placed in any state different from the one in a lens-mounted film. Moreover, electric connections for the retrieved strobe circuit board are made readily by adding coupling means having contacts and connecting the strobe circuit board to a battery via the coupling means.

Camera enabling recycling of parts retrieved from a lens fitted

The present invention provides a simplified camera that can be produced by utilizing simple components retrieved from a lens-mounted film without performing packaging. Nodder axes of a photography button that nods so as to execute release operation are fitted into axis receptor holes bored in front and back cases. The cases are joined together, whereby the photography button is mounted. A back cover of a camera is mounted securely by applying a coupling structure made tip of pin axes and axis receptor holes to a junction between the front and back cases. Furthermore, a charging button that pressures an acting member for operating a charging switch and has off-prevention members is mounted on the front case into which the acting member is integrated. The charging button is secured by a decorative plate. As for a photography window of the front case, a window glass is locked by turning a glass presser until the glass presser is immobilized by fixtures formed on the front case.
