A motor control apparatus includes a reference model unit configured to generate a model output, a feedback unit configured to generate a feedback, and an adder configured to add up the model input and the feedback and generate a control input to the controlled object. The reference model unit includes a storing unit configured to retain, as a vector, a present value of the target value and one or a plurality of past values of the target value, a numerical model configured to simulate a characteristic of the controlled object and generate the model output and a state variable on the basis of the model input, a model controller configured to generate the model input and a controller determining unit configured to determine the model controller.

Motor control apparatus

Provided is a control device for an electric power steering device, the control device configured to control an output torque of a motor that provides an assist torque to a steering torque, the output being controlled based on a steering-torque signal from a torque sensor that detects a steering torque, the control device controls the output torque using a correction signal to damp a vibration at a natural frequency determined in accordance with a transfer characteristic from the steering-torque signal to the output torque.

Electric power steering control device

The restart control unit includes threshold-value setting unit, and the threshold value corresponding to a characteristic to be input to the threshold-value setting unit is preset.

Engine starting device

An electric power steering system includes steering a torque detector that detects steering torque, and a motor that provides assist torque based on the detected steering torque, wherein for the purpose of estimating, without detecting motor rotation angular information and rotation angular velocity information, the road reaction torque in which the influence of the motor inertia torque is eliminated, a value corresponding to rotation velocity of a steering shaft is calculated based on the steering torque and the assist torque, to calculate road reaction torque based on the value corresponding to the rotation velocity of the steering shaft.

A monochromator comprises an optical ray input section which limits the width of optical rays input from a light source, a first concave mirror for converting the optical rays passing through the optical ray input section into parallel rays, a diffraction grating for separating the parallel rays by wavelength into diffracted rays, a second concave mirror for condensing the diffracted rays when the diffracted rays are input, an optical ray output section which limits a wavelength band width of the condensed rays, and a substrate to which the optical ray input section, the first concave mirror, the diffraction grating, the second concave mirror, and the optical ray output section are fixed. A coefficient of linear expansion of a focal length of the first concave mirror, a coefficient of linear expansion of a focal length of the second concave mirror, and a coefficient of linear expansion of a material forming the substrate in the monochromator are approximately the same.

Monochromator and optical spectrum analyzer

An optical spectrum analyzer and a wavelength variable light source have each a sweep synchronization start function. A correction function of the rotation speed of a motor for varying the angle of a diffraction grating in a spectroscope so that extracted wavelength and output signal light wavelength match over a setup sweep wavelength range is found from the output signal light wavelength characteristic relative to the rotation angle of a spectral element and the extracted wavelength of the spectroscope , and the rotation angle of motor for driving the spectroscope is varied for each setup wavelength in accordance with the correction function, then sweep is performed.

Machine tool

A method of calculating optical frequency spectrum for use in an optical-spectrum measuring apparatus for measuring optical spectrum characteristics of a light source. In the method, a bandwidth storage section stores a characteristic of a bandwidth of passed wavelengths with respect to a measuring wavelength of a spectrometer. A CPU obtains a bandwidth of wavelengths with respect to each measuring point in accordance with the stored bandwidth of wavelengths. Then, measured intensities of light at the measuring points are used to add measured values across the measured value in a required range of bandwidth of optical frequencies. Moreover, correction is performed in accordance with a ratio of the bandwidth of wavelengths at each of the measuring points and the intervals of wavelength at the measuring points. Thus, an intensity of light at each of the measuring points is obtained.

Method of calculating optical frequency spectrum

A packet switching apparatus is disclosed which is adapted to determine and control an allowed transmission rate of a transmitting terminal in a packet switching network. The packet switching apparatus comprises a rate discriminator to monitor an interval of packet reception for each of connections, judge, based on the interval of packet reception, whether the transmitting terminal having sent the packet is in pause of transmission and determine a first allowed transmission rate for the transmitting terminal correspondingly to a result of the judgment, an ER calculator to calculate, based on a predetermined algorithm, a second allowed transmission rate for the transmitting terminal, and an ER setter to select one of the first allowed transmission rate determined by the rate discriminator and second allowed transmission rate calculated by the ER calculator, whichever is smaller, and write it into a packet returned to the transmitting terminal.

Packet switching apparatus adapted to control allowed transmission rate in packet switching network, and method of controlling allowed transmission rate

A numerical control apparatus and a numerical control method is provided which permit high-accuracy and high-velocity travel at a joint between paths as well as simple and rapid calculations for this purpose.
