In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber and an outlet. A mount body includes a tank, first and second sensors. The tank has an inlet, and a second chamber. The liquid in the first chamber flows into the second chamber via the outlet and the inlet. The first sensor outputs a first signal when a level of the liquid in the second chamber is higher than a first position, and outputs a second signal when the level is lower than the first position. The second sensor outputs a third signal when the level is higher than a second position higher than the first position, and outputs the fourth signal when the level is lower than the second position. A controller controls a notification device to issue a notification if a condition based on the first and second signals is satisfied.

In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber and a outlet. A mount body includes a tank, first and second sensors. The tank has an inlet, and a second chamber. The liquid in the first chamber flows into the second chamber via the outlet and the inlet. The first sensor outputs a first signal when a level of the liquid in the second chamber is higher than a first position, and outputs a second signal when the level is lower than the first position. The second sensor outputs a third signal when the level is higher than a second position higher than the first position, and outputs the fourth signal when the level is lower than the second position. A controller controls a notification device to issue a notification if a condition based on the first and second signals is satisfied.

An electromagnetic relay according to the present disclosure includes an excitation coil generating a magnetic field during energization, a movable core driven by the magnetic field generated by the excitation coil, a movable element including a movable contact and moving to follow the driven movable core, a plurality of stationary terminals each including a stationary contact that contacts the movable contact during the energization of the excitation coil, a stationary yoke formed of a magnetic material and supported by at least one of the plurality of stationary terminals, and a movable yoke formed of a magnetic material and arranged to face the stationary yoke, the movable yoke being in contact with the movable element and moving together with the movable element. Since the stationary yoke is supported by the stationary terminal, increase in temperature of the stationary terminal can be limited.

A solenoid device includes at least one electromagnetic coil for generating a magnetic flux when energized, a fixed core constituting part of a magnetic circuit through which the magnetic flux passes, and plungers constituting the magnetic circuit together with the fixed core and configured to advance to and retract from the fixed core depending on whether the magnetic coil is energized or de-energized. The magnetic circuit is provided with a magnetic resistance part as a resistance for the magnetic flux. The plungers are configured to be attracted to the fixed core by energizing the electromagnetic coil.

The wiping unit has a first wiping portion and a second wiping portion which are arranged in the predetermined direction with an interval therebetween, and each of which has a leading end configured to contact with the liquid jetting surface, and extends in a direction intersecting the liquid jetting surface, and the leading end of the first wiping portion has a greater surface roughness than that of the leading end of the second wiping portion.

A liquid ejection apparatus includes a head for ejecting liquid, a cap unit for sealing an ejection surface of the head, a humidified air supply mechanism including a storing part for storing humidifying liquid and for performing a humidifying operation, a discharge unit discharges liquid from the head, a control unit for controlling the humidifying operation and a liquid discharge operation, and a detection unit for detecting whether the humidifying liquid is stored in the storing part. When the detection unit detects that no humidifying liquid is stored in the storing part, the control unit controls the discharge unit such that a liquid discharge amount from the head in the liquid discharge operation is larger than that of a case where the detection unit detects that the humidifying liquid is stored in the storing part.

A liquid ejection apparatus includes a head for ejecting liquid, a cap unit for sealing an ejection surface of the head, a humidified air supply mechanism for performing a humidifying operation; a forcible discharge mechanism for performing a forcible discharge operation of forcibly discharging liquid from the ejection ports, a measuring unit for measuring a lapse time after a power supply becomes off and until the power supply becomes on, and a control unit for controlling the humidifying operation when the power supply becomes off, and controlling the forcible discharge operation when the power supply becomes on. When the power supply becomes on, the control unit controls the humidifying operation before performing the forcible discharge operation based on whether the lapse time measured by the measuring unit exceeds a predetermined time.
