A catheter having a tubular body including a lumen communicating from a proximal end to a distal end and in which a braided reinforcement body is embedded, and an operation unit disposed on a proximal side of the tubular body. The reinforcement body includes a plurality of first wire filaments helically wound in a first direction of a circumferential direction, toward a distal end direction of the tubular body, and a plurality of second wire filaments intersecting with the first wire filaments and helically wound in a second direction, which is a direction opposite to the first direction. At least one of the first wire filaments is a thick wire filament having a cross section larger than a cross section of a largest second wire filament.

A lens holder which supports a projection lens is screwed and fixed to a bracket which supports a spatial light modulator. A positioning pin configured to position the lens holder in a left-right direction with respect to the bracket is inserted into a long hole which is formed in the bracket and extends in a lamp front-rear direction. The screwing and fixing is performed in a state where the positioning pin is inserted into the long hole and is appropriately moved in the lamp front-rear direction, so that the lens holder is restricted from being displaced in a left-right direction with respect to the bracket, and it is possible to finely adjust a positional relationship between the projection lens and the spatial light modulator in the lamp front-rear direction.

A medical instrument is disclosed having a structure capable of preventing liquid circulation between an inner layer side and an outer layer side of a peripheral wall portion. The medical instrument includes a main body portion in which a center hole and a radially outward space are partitioned by a tubular peripheral wall portion. The peripheral wall portion includes at least a first layer on which a hydrophilic member, in which a hydrophilic coating is formed on a first base portion, is disposed and a second layer on which a hydrophobic member, in which a hydrophobic coating is formed on a second base portion, is disposed. The peripheral wall portion is configured by the first layer and the second layer being stacked along a radial direction. As a result of swelling of the hydrophilic coating, the adjacent hydrophilic members come into contact with each other.

A carbon fiber bundle includes carbon fibers and a copolymerized polyolefin attached to the surface of the carbon fibers. The copolymerized polyolefin contains an aromatic vinyl compound and an acid and/or acid anhydride as copolymerization components. The amount of the copolymerized polyolefin attached is 0.01 to 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the carbon fiber bundle. The carbon fiber bundle may be used or contained in a random mat, a composite material, and various molded articles.

A thermoplastic resin composition having transparency and antistatic properties, comprising 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin (A) having a refractive index of 1.52 to 1.61 and a haze of 40 or less, and 5 to 40 parts by weight of a polyetherester (B) which has a sulfonate group and a polyalkylene oxide group, and is substantially immiscible with the thermoplastic resin (A), the difference in refractive index between the thermoplastic resin (A) and the polyetherester (B) being 0.04 or less.
