Provided is a lens holder driving device having the fixing part including a base member, the driving mechanism including a yoke, the position detection part including a sensor magnet attached on a corresponding outer peripheral surface of the lens holder in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis. A magnetic detection device provided to the fixing part such that the magnetic detection device is opposite to the sensor magnet. The yoke includes an outer cylinder part having a cylindrical shape. The outer cylinder part includes a plurality of plate parts which are opposite to each other in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis. The plate parts having cutout parts at positions opposite to the sensor magnet. The lens holder driving device includes a foreign matter intrusion prevention member configured to prevent intrusion of foreign matters from the cutout part of the plate part.

The lens driving device includes auto-focusing and shake-correcting driving parts utilizing a voice coil motor. An autofocus movable part includes a lens holder adapted to hold a lens part and an auto-focusing coil part, an autofocus fixing part includes a magnet holder adapted to hold an auto-focusing magnet part, and a shake-correcting fixing part includes a base to which a shake-correcting coil part is disposed. At least one of the lens holder, magnet holder, and base is formed from a molding material consisting of polyarylate (PAR) or a PAR alloy which is a mixture of multiple resin materials including polyarylate.

Provided are a lens driving device, a camera module, and a camera-mounted device for which the miniaturization and weight reduction can be achieved and the reliability can also be improved. The lens driving device includes auto-focusing and shake-correcting driving parts utilizing a voice coil motor. An autofocus fixing part includes a Hall element configured to detect a position of an autofocus movable part in the optical-axis direction, and the autofocus movable part includes a position-detecting magnet arranged near the Hall element. Both of an auto-focusing magnet part and the position-detecting magnet are radially magnetized.

In a lens holder driving device, each of an upper plate spring and a lower plate spring, which are respectively provided on an upper side and a lower side of a lens holder, has an inner peripheral side end fixed to the lens holder, an outer peripheral side end fixed to a fixing part, and a plurality of arms. The plurality of arms of the upper plate spring and the plurality of arms of the lower plate spring have substantially identical shapes in a plan view. Each of the plurality of arms includes at least one U-turn shaped portion that is folded over. An AF fixing part includes an AF control part controlling the energization current through an AF coil part. The AF driving part includes upper and lower elastic supporting parts, auto-focusing power-source lines connected to power-supplying suspension wires functioning as a shake-correcting supporting part, signal lines connected to signal suspension wires functioning as a shake-correcting supporting part, and coil power-supply lines electrically connecting the AF control part to the AF coil part. The upper elastic supporting part functions at least as the AF power-supply lines or the signal lines, and the lower elastic supporting part functions as the coil power-supply lines.

A lens holder driving device is provided with a lens holder, a securing part including a base member, a drive mechanism, and a position detection unit. The drive mechanism includes a yoke that is provided to stand on the base member. The position detection unit includes a sensor magnet mounted to the outer peripheral surface of the lens holder, and a magnetic detection element provided in the securing part. The yoke is provided with a tube-shaped external cylinder part, and the external cylinder part includes a plurality of plate sections each having a cutout section. The lens holder driving device includes a foreign matter entry prevention member that prevents foreign matter from getting inside from the cutout sections of the plate sections.

A lens holder drive device has: a lens holder; a fixing part that includes a base member disposed below the lens holder; a drive mechanism; an upper-side plate spring; a lower-side plate spring; and a position detection unit that detects the position of the lens holder in the optical axis direction. The drive mechanism has: a drive coil fixed to the perimeter of the lens holder; a yoke having a substantially square columnar shape; and a drive magnet disposed to face the drive coil in a first direction which is orthogonal to the optical axis direction. The position detection unit includes: a sensor magnet attached to an outer circumferential surface of the lens holder in a second direction which is orthogonal to the optical axis direction and the first direction; and a magnetic sensing element that faces the sensor magnet and is provided to the base member.

A lens driving device includes a ring-shaped driving coil fixed to a lens holder so as to position around a tubular portion thereof and a rectangular hollow cylindrical yoke including a plurality of flat-shaped permanent magnets opposite to the driving coil. Each flat-shaped permanent magnet has both ends in a horizontal direction which extend in the proximity of opposed two sides of the yoke. The driving coil is disposed so as to extend up to the vicinity of the both ends in the horizontal direction of each flat-shaped permanent magnet.

A camera module includes a lens unit which constitutes an optical system of the camera module; a holder which houses the lens unit and is displaceable along an optical axis direction of the lens unit, and the coil having a hollow cylindrical portion; a coil having a cylindrical form and provided around the cylindrical portion of the holder; a yoke and magnets provided on the yoke for providing a magnetic field to the coil; upper and lower leaf springs for supporting the holder so that the holder is displaceable along an optical axis direction of the lens unit; and an imaging element provided below the lens unit. The holder has coil holding portions to which the coil is fitted for fixedly providing the coil around the cylindrical portion of the holder without using an adhesive.

Camera module

A camera module for small digital cameras and camera-equipped cellular phones includes a lens unit; a holder housing the lens unit and displaceable along an optical axis; a coil on the holder; a yoke and magnets in the yoke providing a magnetic field to the coil; a leaf spring for supporting the holder; and an imaging element below the lens unit. The leaf spring includes an outer annular portion attached to the yoke, an inner annular portion attached to the holder, and bridge portions coupled between the outer and inner annular portion to resiliently support the inner annular portion. Each bridge portion has an outer and an inner annular portion side base part, and extends between an inner peripheral edge of the outer annular portion and an outer peripheral edge of the inner annular portion, the outer annular portion welded to the top surface of the yoke.

Camera module with improved leaf spring attachment

A camera module includes a holder provided with a lens unit and displaceable along an optical axis; a coil formed from a wound wire having lead wires; a yoke and magnets for providing a magnetic field to the coil; a flexible printed circuit board for supplying an electrical current to the lead wires; and upper and lower leaf springs for supporting the holder displaceably along the optical axis. Each of the upper and lower springs includes an outer annular portion and an inner annular portion, and coupled by bridge portions. Part of the flexible printed circuit board is formed into a tongue part arranged in a space between a bridge portion of the lower leaf spring and the lead wires to prevent contact with the lead wires.

A camera module includes upper and lower leaf springs having a stable load characteristic and a holder displaceably held by the leaf springs so that the holder can be stably displaced within a magnetic circuit. The upper spring has an outer annular portion, an inner annular portion provided inside the outer annular portion so as to be displaceable with respect to the outer annular portion and attached to the holder, and a plurality of bridge portions coupled between the outer annular portion and the inner annular portion. The camera module further includes a bridge portion supporting member for supporting a part of at least one of the plurality of bridge portions so that a load characteristic of the leaf spring can be changed.

A camera module that can obtain a clear image even in the case where dust is generated inside the camera module due to a shock applied thereto is provided. The camera module includes a base and a cover attached to the base so as to define a space therebetween in which the holder can be displaced. The base has an upper surface which faces the cover, and the upper surface of the base includes a concaved dust collecting portion and a dust falling preventing wall formed on the upper surface so as to surround an entire circumference of an opening of the base, and wherein a surface of the concaved dust collecting portion includes a dust sticking layer to which fallen dust is adapted to stick, whereby when dust is generated in the space between the cover and the base and such dust is fallen onto the upper surface of the base, it is possible to prevent such dust from entering into the opening by the dust falling preventing wall and such dust is stuck to the dust sticking layer of the dust collecting portion provided on the upper surface of the base.

A camera module having a holder including a leans unit and upper and lower leaf springs for displaceably supporting is provided. Each of the leaf springs has an outer annular portion, an inner annular portion, and bridge portions couple between the outer annular portion and the inner annular portion for resiliently support the inner annular portion with respect to the outer annular portion. The inner annular portion of the lower leaf spring is attached to an lower cylindrical end portion of the holder mechanically and reliably, and the inner annular portion of the upper leaf spring is attached to the upper cylindrical end portion of the holder in a state that the inner annular portion is fixedly held between an upper cylindrical end portion of the holder and a stopper. According to the camera module having the above structure, since the bonding operating using a synthetic resin that was performed in the conventional camera module can be omitted, it is possible to shorten a time necessary for manufacturing a camera module.

A magnetic head in which a holder (25) of a nonmagnetic material is connected to a magnetic head core (20) by bonding, wherein protrusion portions (26 and 27) are integrally formed on the holder (25) so that the protrusion portions (26 and 27) are made to pass through the magnetic head core (20) and top end portions (26a and 27a) of the protrusion portions (26 and 27) are thermally fusion-bonded to the magnetic head core (20) to thereby connect the holder (25) to the magnetic head core (20).
