The present invention provides a novel brake hose capable of sufficiently satisfying the fatigue resistance and the corrosion resistance, with the excellent expansion resistance. In a brake hose comprising a first reinforcing fiber layer ( ), an intermediate rubber ( ), a second reinforcing fiber layer ( ), and an external layer rubber ( ) provided successively on the outer circumference of an internal layer rubber ( ) for filling a brake fluid, the first reinforcing fiber layer ( ) is made of a polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate fiber. Accordingly, all of the fatigue resistance, the corrosion resistance and the expansion resistance can both be realized at a high level.

Brake hose

An inking system comprising an ink vessel removably mounted on a nose portion of a wire dot matrix printer. The ink vessel is stationarily connected to a capillary path member for transferring ink reserved within the ink vessel to the rear surface of a bearing plate which is disposed at the front end of the nose portion of the printer for supporting printing ends of printing wires. The ink vessel accommodates therein an ink absorbent member such as synthetic fibers in contact with the upper end portion of the capillary path member, and reserves ink in an absorbed state in the ink absorbent member. At least one slit is formed in the lower end portion of the capillary path member such that the slit permits a group of the printing wires to extend therethrough without causing any forced contact between the respective printing wire and the lower end portion. The lower end portion wetted with the ink is forcedly contacted with the rear surface of the bearing plate by pressing means disposed within the nose portion. The ink is transferred to each of the printing wires via the bearing plate. The ink supply to the printing wires during the printing operation can be made speedily and appropriately by adjusting the bulk factor of the capillary path member within the range less than that of the ink absorbent member.

Inking system for wire dot matrix printer

A wire matrix printer head has a group of print wires guided so as to pass through holes formed in an ink reservoir. The group of print wires are operatively connected to an actuator unit provided within a housing, the group of print wires having their free ends slidably supported by a bearing plate secured to one end of the housing. An ink chamber is disposed at the rear of the bearing plate, and within the ink chamber is provided an ink reservoir and a spring urging means for urging the ink reservoir towards the bearing plate. The ink reservoir has a sufficiently large clearance relative to each of the print wires, and accordingly, a supply of ink to the respective print wires is transmitted via the back surface of the bearing plate rather than a direct supply thereof from the ink reservoir to the print wire to prevent a deterioration of the ink reservoir due to highly frequent frictions between the ink reservoir and the respective print wires.

Inking apparatus for a wire matrix printer

A projectable or push-out type writing instrument cartridge, such as a projectable cartridge for a ball point pen, has a filler impregnated with an aqueous ink, a writing point at its one end, a device for feeding the ink to the writing point, and an end plug mounted in the other end of the cartridge. The plug has an air passage which satisfies a predetermined condition. Preferably, the end plug consists of an inner rod and an outer tube which receives the inner rod in such a manner that the air passage is formed between the rod and the tube. The cartridge is secured in the casing of the instrument, and is projectable to a writing position.

Aqueous ink cartridge with two part vent plug

A mechanical pencil includes a lead engaging collet biased rearwardly, a collet receiver tube having a tapered guide face and rolling elements mounted between the tapered guide face and the collet for inducing a clamping force against a writing lead. The pencil includes a device for advancing the collet receiver tube and the collet toward a pencil tip and then permitting the collet receiver tube alone to move rearwardly. This assures that the inner elements will step the lead an increment from the pencil tip for writing purposes.
