An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to the present invention has an ultrasonic probe for transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic wave to/from an object while the object is pressed, a phasing and adding unit for generating RF signal frame data of a cross-sectional site of the object on the basis of a reflection echo signal measured by the ultrasonic probe, an ultrasonic image generating unit for generating an ultrasonic image of the cross-sectional site of the object on the basis of the RF signal frame data, a measurement target setting unit for setting a measurement target to the RF signal frame data or the ultrasonic image, a measurement target position tracing unit for tracing a positional variation of the set measurement target, a displacement image generating unit for generating a graph representing transition of a press state applied to the measurement target on the basis of the positional variation of the measurement target, and a display unit for displaying the generated graph.

Ultrasonic elastography for cross sectional tissue measurement method and apparatus

Even when a region of interest (ROI) is changed on a frozen image, an elasticity image of ROI after the change can be displayed without executing re-measurement. An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatushas a control unithaving a first ROI setting unitand a second ROI setting unit. When ROI is set by the first ROI setting unitof the control unit, an elasticity information calculating unitsets an area larger than ROI as a calculation area, calculates distortion, elasticity modulus, etc. of a tissue corresponding to each measurement point on a tomographic image of the calculation area, generates elasticity information based on the distortion, the elasticity modulus, etc., and outputs the elasticity information to an elasticity information storing unit. The control unitchanges the position/size of ROI by the second ROI setting unitunder a state that the frozen image is displayed. The elasticity image constructing unitreads the elasticity information corresponding to the changed ROI from the elasticity information storing unit, forms an elasticity image of the changed ROI and displays it on an image display unit

Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus

A variable frequency passband circuit comprising two passband filters and three mixers (front, intermediate and output mixers) connected in a cascade fashion disposed in a signal path. Two VCOs inject frequency signals into the front mixer and the output mixer. The two VCOs are respectively controlled by control signals at two potentiometers through transfer switching means so that the synthetic passband of the filter may be varied. One potentiometer suppresses the higher frequency region of a baseband signal and the other potentiometer suppresses the lower frequency region of the base band signal, irrespective of USB or LSB receiving mode.

An improvement in a transceiver having first and second carrier frequency oscillators for demodulation, a change-over device for making change-over of oscillation outputs between the first and second carrier frequency oscillators, a mixer for mixing the oscillation outputs from the first and second carrier frequency oscillators, and a switching circuit for connecting and disconnecting the input signal into, or output signal from, said mixer by on-off operations of the telegraphic transmission key to apply the signal to a low frequency amplifier of the transceiver.

A local oscillator having a variable frequency oscillator and a carrier frequency oscillator for use in communication systems that transmit and/or receive signals on multiple frequency bands, one crystal reference oscillator; a converter circuit for mixing the outputs of at least the variable frequency oscillator and the carrier frequency oscillator to produce an output having a frequency corresponding to the receiving frequency and a phase-locked loop circuit including a plurality of voltage control oscillators corresponding to the number of receiving frequency bands; a mixing circuit for mixing the output of a predetermined one of the voltage control oscillators corresponding to a predetermined one of the frequency bands with the output of the converter circuit to produce an output of fixed frequency corresponding to the one frequency band; a programmable counter that divides the output of the mixing circuit in accordance with a frequency dividing ratio corresponding to the one frequency band; and a phase comparator for comparing the phase of the output signal from the programmable counter with that of the output from the one crystal reference oscillator to provide a control signal for the one voltage control oscillator whereby the one crystal reference oscillator may be employed with all of the voltage control oscillators.
