An object of the invention is to provide a peptide having a stabilized secondary structure. The present invention provides a peptide having a secondary structure stabilized by a crosslinked structure and containing at least one combination of a special amino acid of the formula (I): (wherein, (A) represents a single bond or a linking group having, in the main chain thereof, from 1 to 10 atoms;(B) represents a group containing at least one &#x3c0; bond;(C) represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may be substituted with a substituent; and X represents a group substitutable by a substitution reaction with a sulfanyl group) and an amino acid having, in the side chain thereof, a sulfanyl group; and having the crosslinked structure formed through a thioether bond between the side chain of the special amino acid residue and the sulfanyl group.

The disclosed invention improves the transfer efficiency of a bus transfer device. A semiconductor device includes a bus transfer device including a read data transfer path which can transfer read data having an n-bit width at a maximum. If first read data and second read data corresponding respectively to a first transaction and a second transaction have a total bit width of n bits or less, the bus transfer device can simultaneously transfer data obtained by unifying the first read data and the second read data, first transaction identification information, and second transaction identification information through the read data transfer path.

An electromagnetic flowmeter using a square wave excitation method includes a differential amplifier which outputs a detection signal; an analog-digital converter which converts the detection signal into a digital detection signal; a timing control circuit which generates a sampling signal for sampling the digital detection signal; an calculation unit which executes a flow rate calculation process and a abnormality judging process at a same time. The flow rate calculation process acquires a flow velocity output signal by sampling the digital detection signal in a flat portion in a positive/negative excitation section. The abnormality judging process acquires a differential output signal by sampling the digital detection signal in a rising/falling portion in the positive/negative excitation section, and obtains a differential noise from the flow velocity output signal and a differential output signal, and judges abnormality of the exciting current by comparing a differential noise with a detection threshold level.

The present invention provides a method for producing flavan derivatives having various substituent groups with controlling the stereochemistry. The method of the present invention includes the steps of: hydratively condensing a phenol compound expressed by formula (I) and an alcohol compound expressed by formula (II) to from an epoxide compound of formula (III); opening the epoxy ring of the epoxide compound of formula (III) to form an iodine-containing compound of formula (IV); and cyclizing the iodine-containing compound to form the flavan derivative of formula (V).

The invention consists in a capacitative electromagnetic flow meter in which excitation is performed at a frequency above the commercially available frequency and having a characteristic correction filter that corrects the gain frequency characteristic of the exciting current such that the exciting flux waveform has a flat section. In the detection unit, the value of the electrostatic capacitance between the face electrodes A, B and guard electrodes A, B is made smaller than the value of the electrostatic capacitance between the detecting face electrodes A, B and the fluid to be measured. The exciting coils are fixed to a cylindrical yoke, being electrostatically screened by coil fixing plates. Fixing by an earth ring is performed with this cylindrical yoke and the two ends of the measurement tube being symmetrical with respect to the tube axis and electrode axes. Provided is a structure in which a refresh region to be actually refreshed can be set on an outside of a DRAM. A refresh control register (21) is provided to store a refresh control bit which is sent from the outside and indicates the region to be refreshed. A refresh address deciding circuit (22) is provided to compare a content (RCB) stored in the refresh control register (21) with a refresh address (RAi) output from a refresh address generating circuit (11). An internal timing control circuit (5A) stops operations of a row decoder (3) and a sense amplifier (4) according to a result of a decision made by the refresh address deciding circuit (22).

A CPU can selectively execute a normal processing mode and a debugging mode on the basis of a control signal sent from a control unit.
