An electrostatic-image developing toner contains toner particles containing a polyester resin having an acid value of from 10 mg KOH/g to less than 15 mg KOH/g. The toner particles have a surface with an acid value in a range from 0.3% to 1.7% of the acid value of the polyester resin. The toner particles have a melt viscosity of from 1,800 Pa&#xb7;s to 3,800 Pa&#xb7;s at 100&#xb0; C.

Electrostatic-image developing toner, electrostatic image developer, and toner cartridge

Disclosed herein is an electronic equipment unit having a cradle, electronic equipment detachably mounted to the cradle, and a connecting mechanism for detachably connecting the electronic equipment to the cradle. The electronic equipment has a housing, an antenna case connected to the back side of the housing, and a recess formed on the back side of the housing for receiving the antenna case. The antenna case is pivotable between a retracted condition where the antenna case is retracted in the recess and a raised condition where the antenna case is raised from the back side of the housing. The cradle has a connecting portion adapted to be received in the recess in the raised condition of the antenna case. The connecting portion is detachably connected to the recess by the connecting mechanism in the condition where the antenna case is raised and the connecting portion is received in the recess.

An electrostatic latent image developing magenta toner includes at least quinacridone pigment, naphthol pigment, and a release agent. Colorant of the toner satisfies conditions (a) and (b): (a) an average primary particle size D50 of a quinacridone pigment represented by formula (1) and an average primary particle size D50 of a naphthol pigment represented by formula (2) are such that the average primary particle size D50 of the quinacridone pigment is smaller than the average primary particle size D50 of the naphthol pigment; and (b) the average primary particle size D50 of the quinacridone pigment is greater than 20 nm, and the average primary particle size D50 of the naphthol pigment is smaller than 200 nm. A starting shift control system for a continuously variable transmission is provided which includes a control unit having a high start judgment device for judging whether or not a high start in a high speed side gear ratio is caused on the basis of a comparison between the generated number of the input rotation pulses and the generated number of the output rotation pulses from the time a first vehicle starting operation is performed after start of a prime mover, and a high start control device for restricting downshifting from the high speed side gear ratio to a target gear ratio when a start of the vehicle is judged to be the high start. A starting shift control method is also provided.
