There is provided a speed reducer incorporating portion structure for a plurality of industrial machines in which an eccentric oscillating type speed reducer having an internal gear and an external gear that rotates in an oscillating manner while internally meshing with the internal gear is incorporated. The speed reducer may be incorporated in the plurality of industrial machines, respectively, so that the position of a meshing portion when the external gear is assembled to the internal gear has a specific phase relationship common to the plurality of industrial machines with respect to a specific part of an industrial machine in which the speed reducer is incorporated.

An oscillating internally meshing planetary gear system is provided in order to improve basic performance and reduce cost at the same time. The oscillating internally meshing planetary gear system has an internal gear and external gears internally meshing with the internal gear and is configured such that one of the external gears and the internal gear is oscillatingly rotated by means of eccentric bodies formed in an input shaft (eccentric body shaft). The system includes: a sliding motion-facilitating member intervening between an outer periphery of the eccentric body and the oscillating gear; and an eccentric body shaft bearing supporting the eccentric body shaft. In addition to this, the eccentric body shaft bearing and the sliding motion-facilitating member have the same configuration.

The gear system is configured such that rotation of an input shaft is reduced by internal teeth oscillating bodies oscillatingly rotating with respect to an external gear. Eccentric shafts are plurally provided. Eccentric shaft gears are provided for the plurality of eccentric shafts, respectively. A transmitting external gear with which the eccentric shaft gears and a driving source-end pinion concurrently mesh is also provided.

Internal teeth oscillation type inner gearing planetary gear system

A simple planetary gear mechanism is provided with an automatic alignment function to support the planet gear to obtain a speed reducer having reduced backlash by a simple method. A planet gear is supported by a carrier pin that is in turn supported by a carrier. The carrier pin includes a crank portion that is eccentric by &ldquo;e&rdquo; relative to the axis center of the carrier pin with the eccentric angle being made variable. The planet gear is supported rotatably about the axis center of the crank portion. Consequently, with the eccentric angle being made variable, the axis center of the planet gear is automatically aligned in the radial direction upon assembly of each gear, thereby making it possible to minimize backlash only by incorporating a sun gear having a proper dimension.

Support structure for planet gear in simple planetary gear mechanism and method for manufacturing the mechanism

The eccentric body shaft bearing holes, the eccentric body bearing holes and the carrier pin holding holes are set to satisfy the following relationship. Namely, when the first and second supporting blocks and the externally toothed gears are appropriately rearranged in the axial positions thereof, the diameters of the eccentric body shaft bearing holes and the diameters of the eccentric body bearing holes become smaller toward one direction. Also, while keeping the above rearrangement, the diameters of the carrier pin holding holes become smaller in the same direction. The outside diameter of the first and second supporting blocks is set to be smaller than the root diameter of the external teeth of each externally toothed gear. Further, the teeth number of each externally toothed gear is set to be the integral magnification of the number thereof, and the teeth number difference between the internal gear and the externally toothed gear is set to be the integral magnification of the number of the externally toothed gears. With this construction, it is possible to simultaneously machine the bearing holes and the externally toothed gears with one setting, and hence to improve the relative positional accuracy of each hole.

Internally meshing planetary gear structure, reduction or step-up gear

A series of transmission gears use an internally meshing planetary gear structure. The structure has a first shaft, eccentric bodies provided on the first shaft, and external gears mounted on the eccentric bodies through bearings. An internal gear internally meshes with the external gears, and a second shaft is connected to the external gears through means for transmitting only the rotational component of the external gears. The series includes a group of sub-series of the transmission gears, including transmission gears which are different from each other in a speed change ratio within a range from a low speed change ratio to a high speed change ratio, and which are the same in the mating dimension for installation to a mating machine. The transmission gears in the same sub-series include a type of transmission gears of a low angular backlash type which do not reduce the angular backlash. Each type of transmission gear has a same speed change ratio, a same mating dimension, and a same transmission capacity.

Step-up or reduction gear series using internally meshing planetary gear

An internally meshing planetary gear structure is the type having a first and second supporting blocks. The supporting blocks are rigidly connected to each other by carrier pins passing through inserting-fit holes formed on externally toothed gears. Also, the end surfaces of the carrier pins are exposed on a counter-member mounting surface of the first supporting block positioned on the counter-member side, and thus screw holes for screwing counter-member fixing bolts are formed on the end surfaces. With this arrangement, it is possible to enlarge the actual usable area of a counter-member mounting surface of the first supporting block and hence to increase the number of counter-member fixing bolts.

Internally meshing planetary gear structure

An inscribed meshing speed increasing and reduction gear construction in which external teeth (for example, a1 and a2, b1 and b2, and c1 and c2) cut at the same position during processing are not simultaneously meshed with (outer pins 111 of) internal-tooth gear during operation in order to improve the accuracy after completion of assembling even if the gear is cut by a machine of similar processing accuracy. Thereby, (although it seems to be contrary to a conventional idea that said external teeth cut at the same position should be simultaneously meshed with the internal-tooth gear), the actual accuracy after completion of assembling can be improved. In this case, when both the number of teeth (24 in FIG. 1) of external-tooth gears 105a and 105b, and a difference in the number of teeth (4 in FIG. 4) between the external-tooth gear and (outer pins 111) internal-tooth gear, are set to integer times of the number (2 in FIG. 1) of the external-tooth gears, the external teeth of the external-tooth gears and various holes formed in the external-teeth can be all simultaneously (by one setting) cut, and remarkably improving the accuracy of the positional relationship between the external teeth and various holes.

Inscribed meshing planetary gear construction

A planetary gear system comprises a plurality of external gears swingably rotated by at least three eccentric members juxtaposed axially with their phases offset from each other; an internal gear internally meshing with these external gears; and a flange for retaining pins fitted with a play in internal pin holes formed in the external gears. This planetary gear system is used as a planetary reduction gear when the eccentric members are rotatively driven with either one of the internal gear or the flange being held stationary, so as to obtain an output of reduced rotation, or as a planetary overdrive gear in which either one of the internal gear or the flange is held stationary, and an input is applied to the other to obtain an output of accelerated rotation from a shaft on which the eccentric members are installed. All the eccentric members are formed integrally as one component. Since the eccentric members are formed integrally, there is no possibility of the phase difference among the eccentric members becoming out of the phase as in the case where the eccentric members are formed separately. Consequently, the component members can be assembled with a high degree of accuracy, and a situation can be eliminated in which the external gears and the internal gear fail to engage smoothly due to any disorder in the phases of the eccentric members during operation. Further, since the eccentric members are formed integrally, although it becomes difficult to install rollers having inner peripheral rings as well as the external gear around the eccentric member in an intermediate portion, a measure for overcoming this problem is provided.
