A turbine blade includes an airfoil portion having a hollow portion extending along the blade height direction and film cooling holes arranged along the blade height direction, and an insert disposed in the hollow portion along the blade height direction and having impingement cooling holes. The insert includes a first high-density opening region having a higher density of the impingement cooling holes than in other surface regions of the insert. The geometric center of the first high-density opening region is positioned on the suction side of the airfoil portion in the leading-edge-to-trailing-edge direction and on the outer side of the midpoint of the airfoil portion in the blade height direction. The film cooling holes includes upstream film cooling holes disposed in the suction surface of the airfoil portion at a position corresponding to the first high-density opening region or at a position closer to a leading edge than the position.

A carbonaceous feedstock gasification power generation facility, and a method for regulating a gas for drying gas this carbonaceous feedstock, are disclosed with which it is possible to expand the range of the types of carbonaceous feedstocks that can be used. High-temperature exhaust gas, low-temperature exhaust gas and extreme high-temperature exhaust gas are bled from the furnace respectively at a high-temperature bleed position, a low-temperature bleed position and an extreme high-temperature bleed position. When these exhaust gases are mixed, the flow volume of the extreme high-temperature exhaust gas supplied to at least one of the exhaust gases, that is, the high-temperature exhaust gas or the low-temperature exhaust gas, is adjusted such that the temperature of at least one of these exhaust gases, that is, the high-temperature exhaust gas or the low-temperature exhaust gas, reaches a prescribed temperature.

An optical fiber inspecting device is disclosed. The optical fiber inspecting device includes a first light-emitting unit that irradiates an optical fiber with a first light beam, the optical fiber including a glass fiber and a coating resin and moving in an axial direction, and a first light-receiving unit that receives scattered light resulting from the first light beam scattered in the optical fiber, and converts the scattered light to an electrical signal. An optical axis of the first light-receiving unit passes through an irradiation position where the first light beam strikes the optical fiber, and the first light beam and the optical axis of the first light-receiving unit diagonally intersect each other, thereby preventing the first light beam from directly entering the first light-receiving unit.

A control device for a power generation system whereby power is generated by a first power source that operates by burning a fuel. The control device identifies, on the basis of a pressure difference in a prior-stage mechanism that supplies the fuel to the first power source, a fuel capacity that compensates for the pressure difference in the prior-stage mechanism. The pressure difference is the difference between a pressure set for the fuel before a load change in the prior-stage mechanism and a pressure set for the fuel after the load change in the prior-stage mechanism. The control device calculates a fuel supply command value, which is a command value for adjusting the amount of fuel supplied to a fuel supply device that supplies the fuel to the first power source, and is output to the fuel supply device using a fuel supply acceleration command value.

A power supply unit includes primary and secondary circuits and a transformer. The primary circuit is connected to an alternating-current power supply and includes a switching device. The transformer includes primary and secondary windings. The primary winding receives an alternating current so that an alternating current is induced in the secondary winding. The received alternating current is generated through switching using the switching device. The secondary circuit rectifies, for output, the alternating current induced in the secondary winding. The primary winding includes first and second windings. When the alternating-current power supply is a power supply of a first voltage, the first winding is connected to the second winding in parallel in the primary winding. Provided is an integrated coal gasification combined cycle equipped with: a gasifier that generates combustible gas from pulverized coal; a gas cooler; gas turbine equipment; an auxiliary fuel supply unit that supplies an auxiliary fuel to the gas turbine equipment; a heat recovery steam generator; steam turbine equipment; generators; and a circulation line unit that circulates cooling water. The heat recovery steam generator has a first medium-pressure coal economizer and a second medium-pressure coal economizer. When the combustible gas generated from the pulverized coal is burned, a serial heat exchange line is formed wherein cooling water passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer, the second medium-pressure coal economizer, and the gas cooler. When the auxiliary fuel is burned, separate heat exchange lines are formed, wherein the cooling water separately passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer and the second medium-pressure coal economizer.

An optical fiber ribbon is disclosed. The optical fiber ribbon includes first and second optical fibers arranged in parallel, and at least one coupling member made of a resin material. The coupling member couples the first and second optical fibers by adhering the first and second optical fibers each other intermittently in a longitudinal direction of the first and second optical fibers.
