A multilayer coil component includes an element body having a multilayer structure including a first element body portion formed of a ferrite element body material, and a second element body portion laminated on the first element body portion and formed of a ferrite element body material having a composition different from the ferrite element body material forming the first element body portion, a multilayer coil having an axis parallel to a lamination direction of the element body, and a stress alleviation portion provided in an inner region of the multilayer coil when viewed from the lamination direction. In the multilayer coil component, the stress alleviation portion is provided in the inner region of the multilayer coil in which a stress tends to be concentrated to alleviate the stress in the inner region of the multilayer coil, and thereby occurrence of cracking in the element body can be suppressed.

Multilayer coil component

A multilayer inductor component includes an element body, an internal conductor, and an external electrode. The internal conductor is disposed in the element body. The external electrode is disposed on a surface of the element body and electrically connected to the internal conductor. The external electrode includes a sintered metal layer and a plating layer. The sintered metal layer is disposed on the surface of the element body. The plating layer covers the sintered metal layer. The sintered metal layer includes a thick portion and thin portions. The thick portion covers the surface of the element body. A plurality of glass particles is dispersed in the thick portion. The thin portions cover glass particles exposed on a surface of the thick portion among the plurality of glass particles and being in contact with the plating layer.

Multilayer coil electronic component

A monitoring system includes a plurality of sensor terminals installed for a target to be measured, a base station wirelessly communicating with the sensor terminals, and a calculator communicable with the base station. The sensor terminal includes a sensor element which acquires vibration information of a target to be measured, an arithmetic unit which performs an arithmetic operation for data including the vibration information of the sensor element, and a wireless communication unit. The arithmetic unit performs a reduction process for reducing an amount of data of the sensor element. The wireless communication unit transmits data processed by the arithmetic unit to the base station. After the transmitted data is received, the base station transmits it to the calculator. The calculator includes a signal processing unit. The signal processing unit complements the reduction-processed data to acquire vibration information, and averages the vibration information for a predetermined period of time.

Monitoring system and its method

In a stepwise structure formed in a multilayer coil component, a difference occurs in a shrinkage amount between a maximum film thickness portion in which the number of layers is large and a minimum film thickness portion in which the number of layers is small due to portions different in the number of layers of coil parts (that is, upper coil part, lower coil part, and connecting part) adjacent to each other like the maximum film thickness portion and the minimum film thickness portion, readily causing a crack by an inner stress due to the difference in the shrinkage amount. In a multilayer coil component according to the present disclosure, a stress relaxation part overlapping with a maximum film thickness portion whose shrinkage amount is large is provided to relax inner stress in a stepwise structure, resulting in prevention of a crack.

A multilayer coil component includes an element body, a coil including a plurality of internal conductors, and a plurality of stress-relaxation spaces. The plurality of internal conductors are separated from each other in a first direction in the element body. Each stress-relaxation space is in contact with a surface of the corresponding internal conductor and powders exist in each stress-relaxation space. The element body includes element body regions located between the internal conductors adjacent to each other in the first direction. Each stress-relaxation space includes a first boundary surface with each internal conductor and a second boundary surface with each element body region. The first boundary surface and the second boundary surface oppose each other in the first direction. A distance between the first boundary surface and the second boundary surface is smaller than a thickness of each element body region in the first direction.

An element body includes a first function portion including a first material, a second function portion including a second material different from the first material, and an intermediate portion placed between the first function portion and the second function portion. The intermediate portion includes a first component included in the first material, and a second component included in the second material. A side surface of the element body includes surfaces of the first function portion, the second function portion, and the intermediate portion. Each of terminal electrodes includes electrode portion formed on the side surface across the surfaces of the first function portion, the second function portion, and the intermediate portion. An insulating layer is formed on the side surface in such a manner as to be in contact with at least a region exposed from the electrode portions between the electrode portions in the surface of the intermediate portion.

An abnormal sound detection device includes a first learning unit that inputs a normal operating sound of the machine equipment, and registers a normal sound base spectrum from an amplitude spectrogram, a new sound/new vibration extraction unit that executes supervised nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) using the normal sound base spectrum as teacher data on an acoustic signal input during diagnosis, and outputs a nonnegative matrix not allowed to be approximated with a low rank in the normal sound base spectrum, a second learning unit that extracts a new sound/new vibration component from the normal operating sound of the machine equipment, learns a normal sound model from the new sound/new vibration component, and registers the normal sound model, and an abnormality detection unit that computes a probability that the new sound/new vibration component extracted from the acoustic signal of the machine equipment during diagnosis is generated from the normal sound model.

Abnormal sound detection device and abnormal sound detection method

In a multilayer coil component, an end of a lower coil layer and an end of a connecting part are directly overlapped, and the end of the lower coil layer includes a contact edge positioned on a side of the connecting part and being in contact with the connecting part and a non-contact edge positioned on a side opposite to the connecting part and not being in contact with the connecting part. Then, the contact edge and the non-contact edge are not overlapped when viewed from a laminated direction. Consequently, a propagation distance of a crack becomes longer as compared with the case where an end face is parallel to the laminated direction, effectively suppressing advance of the crack. Suppressed advance of a crack in this manner makes the multilayer coil component provide a high component strength as a whole.
