An EGR valve includes: an inner housing including a flow passage; a valve element which opens and closes the flow passage; a valve shaft on which the valve element is provided; an outer housing in which the inner housing is assembled; and a drive unit which drives the valve shaft. The flow passage of the inner housing includes an inlet and an outlet. The outer housing includes an assembly hole and separate flow passages. When the inner housing is assembled in the assembly hole, the inlet and the outlet of the inner housing communicate with the separate flow passages of the outer housing; an inlet sealing member is provided between the inner housing and the outer housing to correspond to the periphery of the inlet; and an outlet sealing member is provided between the inner housing and the outer housing to correspond to the periphery of the outlet.

Valve device

An intake pipe includes a pipe body and an ejector part. The pipe body includes an intake passage therein. The ejector part includes an air inlet, a vapor inlet, and an outlet pipe part. The ejector part is configured to generate a negative pressure in response to a compressed air supplied from a compressor through the air inlet to suction fuel vapor generated in a fuel tank through the vapor inlet. The ejector part is configured to discharge a gaseous mixture of the compressed air and the fuel vapor into the intake passage via the outlet pipe part. The pipe body includes a passage wall part formed with the ejector part as a monolithic, single-piece. The passage wall part includes a recess open to the intake passage side. The outlet pipe part is disposed in the recess and extends in a discharge direction of the compressed air from the ejector part.

Intake pipe

An EGR system is configured to allow a part of exhaust gas discharged from an engine to an intake passage to flow as EGR gas to an intake passage through an EGR passage to return to the engine. In the EGR system, a heating film is provided on an inner wall or an outer wall of at least one of the intake passage through which the EGR gas is allowed to flow and the EGR passage. At least a pair of a positive electrode and a negative electrode is provided to energize the heating film.

EGR system

An EGR system is configured to allow a part of exhaust gas discharged from an engine to an exhaust passage to flow as an EGR gas to an intake passage through an EGR passage to return to the engine. The EGR system includes a heating film provided on an inner wall of at least one of the intake passage through which the EGR gas flows, i.e., an intake manifold, and the EGR passage, at least one pair of a positive electrode and a negative electrode to energize the heating film, a water temperature sensor and an intake temperature for detecting a warm-up state of the intake passage and the EGR passage, and an electronic control unit configured to control energization of the heating film from before start of EGR based on the detected warm-up state.

A butterfly valve-type throttle valveincludes a valve shaftextending across an intake air passageof an internal combustion engine, and a butterfly-type valve bodyfor adjusting a flow rate of an intake air flowing through the intake air passageby rotating in unison with the valve shaft. The valve bodyis constituted by two split members, and is configured such that the split membersare coupled to each other by a welding, which is a coupling that uses no screw, and such that an axial holefor fitting with the valve shaftis formed through the coupling. A gap closing memberis provided on a circumferential edge portion of the valve bodyfor closing a gap between the valve bodypositioned at a fully closed position and a passage wall surfaceof the intake air passage.

Butterfly-type throttle valve

A throttle valve of the invention includes a clearance closing member provided along a peripheral edge of a valve body displaceably and elastically deformable in a direction extending along an axis of an intake passage, a direction perpendicular to the axis of the intake passage, and a direction inclined with respect to the axis of the intake passage, for closing a clearance between the peripheral edge of the valve body and an inner wall surface of the intake passage.
