A pointing device includes: a substrate; an operation member that is provided tiltably with respect to the substrate, and includes a protrusion protruded from one of an inner wall and an outer wall; and a rotation member that is provided rotatably on the substrate, and includes a hole which the protrusion enters when the rotation member overlaps the operation member; wherein the rotation member rotates in conjunction with the operation member when the protrusion contacts an edge of the hole according to rotation of the operation member, wherein the hole is formed in a range in which the protrusion is movable by tilt of the operation member.

Pointing device

An input system executes an input to an information processing apparatus depending on the hand motion. Plural myoelectric sensors are provided on an area between a wrist of the person and bases of a second finger to a fifth finger, and detect myoelectric signals depending on the hand motion. A setting portion outputs at least one command to make the person execute at least one particular motion in a state where the myoelectric sensors are worn on the hand, and associates the detected myoelectric signals after the output of the command with the particular motion corresponding to the command. An input portion identifies the hand motion from myoelectric signals detected based on the hand motion after the termination of the association and the association result of the setting portion, and executes the input to the information processing apparatus depending on the identified hand motion.

The invention concerns a decorative casing fabricated by bonding a film having a polarizing characteristic to the surface of the casing body via an adhesive layer, and an object of the invention is to provide the casing with enhanced decorativeness by designing the adhesive layer so as to render various color effects in addition to the effect rendered by the polarizing characteristic. The polarizing film is bonded to the surface of the casing body via the adhesive layer containing a special-effect material having a color effect. According to the present invention, by directly bonding the polarizing film to the casing via the adhesive layer that produces a desired color effect, other effects such as color hue can be conferred in the film bonding step, and thus a casing having an excellent decorative effect can be manufactured by a simple process without increasing the number of process steps.
