An apparatus includes a container configured to store a liquid to be supplied to a discharge unit, a first cover portion capable of moving between a closing position where an inlet portion in the container is covered and an opening position, a second cover portion capable of moving between a closing position where the first cover portion is covered and an opening position where the first cover portion is exposed so as to be opened/closed, and a valve which opens/closes a passage communicating with an inside of the container. The valve closes the passage interworking with a movement of the first cover portion to the opening position, and opens the passage interworking with a movement of the second cover portion to the closing position.

An image recording apparatus includes a belt passed around a drive pulley and a driven pulley, a support member configured to support a recording head and fixed to the belt, a holder member, having a claw part, configured to hold the driven pulley, and a frame having a first opening for the claw part to penetrate. The holder member is attached to the frame such as to be movable relative to the drive pulley. The first opening has an enlarged opening portion allowing the claw part to pass through without engaging with the frame on one side closer to the drive pulley. At least a portion of the claw part is positioned within a part of the first opening excluding the enlarged opening portion in a state where the holder member is positioned in a predetermined location closer to the drive pulley.

Image recording apparatus

A recording apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a carriage, a recording head, a frame, and a guide member. The conveyance unit conveys a sheet in a conveyance direction. The carriage moves in a scanning direction crossing the conveyance direction and has a first abutment portion and a second abutment portion higher in position than the first abutment portion. The recording head is mounted on the carriage, arranged to face a sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit, and ejects a liquid onto the conveyed sheet to record an image. The frame has a first sliding portion in abutment with the first abutment portion and has a second sliding portion in abutment with the second abutment portion. The guide member supports the carriage and is fixed to the frame at a position separated from the first sliding portion.

The present invention provides resin beads that can provide various types of products, such as a cosmetic having excellent tactile impression, such as spreadability on the skin, moist feeling, and softness, and having high stability such that such tactile impression is kept over a long period of time, that can be substituted for resin particles composed of a synthetic material derived from petroleum, and that have favorable biodegradability. The present invention also provides various types of products, such as a cosmetic, using the resin beads. The resin beads are obtained by surface-treating, with a solid surface treatment agent, core beads formed with a resin containing cellulose as a main component, and have a cumulative 50% particle size on a volume basis of 50 μm or smaller, a degree of sphericity of 0.7 to 1.0, a degree of surface smoothness of 70 to 100%, and a degree of crystallinity of 60% or less. In addition, the present invention provides a product of any one of a cosmetic, a dermatological preparation, a paint, a shaped article, a film, a coating agent, and a resin composition which contain the resin beads.

The present disclosure relates to an imaging device and an electronic device that make it possible to obtain a better pixel signal. A photoelectric conversion part that converts received light into a charge; a holding part that holds a charge transferred from the photoelectric conversion part; and a light shielding part that shields light between the photoelectric conversion part and the holding part are provided. The photoelectric conversion part, the holding part, and the light shielding part are formed in a semiconductor substrate. The light shielding part of a transfer region that transfers the charge from the photoelectric conversion part to the holding part is formed as a non-penetrating light shielding part that does not penetrate the semiconductor substrate. The light shielding part other than the transfer region is formed as a penetrating light shielding part that penetrates the semiconductor substrate. The present technology is applicable to an imaging device.

A solid-state image pickup device includes a plurality of pixels, a pixel connection section, and a pixel reset section.
