A signal contact member and a ground contact member to which a center conductor and an outer conductor of a coaxial cable are connected are supported by an insulating housing member. The ground contact member has an annular fitting portion that fits and connects to the ground contact portion of a mate connector device. The annular fitting portion is provided with an opening for disposing a center conductor connection portion of the signal contact member. A shell portion of a ground contact member or an insulating housing member is provided with a conductive member given a ground potential. The conductive member partially fills the opening in the annular fitting portion.

An electrical cable connector comprising an insulating housing, a plurality of conductive contacts arranged on the insulating housing to be connected respectively with cables, and a resilient shell member attached to the insulating housing, wherein the resilient shell member includes a concealing portion for concealing a portion of the insulating housing on which the conductive contacts are arranged, a strip-shaped portion surrounding partially the insulating housing so as to cause an inner surface portion thereof to come into resilient contact with an outer surface portion of a mating connecting device, a pair of extended strip-shaped portions each extending to be bent from one of end portions of the strip-shaped portion so as to have a free end portion, and a pair of holding portions extending from the concealing portion for positioning respectively the extended strip-shaped portions from the outside thereof.

To allow a fit-in state between electrical connectors to be firmly maintained, elastic arm-shaped members provided to a conductive shell member so as to elastically displace to a direction orthogonal to a fit-in direction of a mating connector are each provided with an engaging piece having a connector contact surface which the mating connector faces from the depth in the fit-in direction and a shell contact surface which a part of the conductive shell member faces from the front in the fit-in direction. When an external force is applied to the mating connector in a fit-in state to a removing direction opposite to the fit-in direction, the engaging piece is brought into a state of being interposed between the mating connector and the conductive shell member. This avoids a situation in which the engaging piece is removed from the mating connector to cause a lock release.

The reliability of electrical connectivity can be improved by a simple configuration while reducing the number of processes of connection of a coaxial cable. An outer conductor and a connector main-body part are configured to be electrically connected by pushing cable rupturing parts, which are projecting toward an inner side from a radial-direction outer side of a coaxial cable placed on a connector main-body part, against the radial-direction inner side toward the coaxial cable and rupturing an outer-periphery covering material of the coaxial cable. As a result, when electrical connection with respect to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable is to be established, a connecting operation is configured to be carried out without carrying out terminal treatment processing such as a strip process of ripping off a dielectric body or an insulator surrounding a central conductor and the outer conductor so that the connecting process with respect to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable is significantly simplified.

The present invention relates to a card stack reader, a card thereof, a card case, a method for manufacturing the card, a game machine using the same, and a computer-readable storage medium on which a game program is recorded. The card stack reader comprises an imaging unit which reads an image from a peripheral side portion of a stack of cards, each card having a read code along a peripheral side edge thereof, the read code identifying the card, and a code recognizing unit which recognizes the read code of each card from the image read by the imaging unit.

A card game apparatus includes a large-size panel display, a main control unit that controls screens on the large-size panel display, and a plurality of terminal apparatuses that are communicably connected to the main control unit. A game player purchases an integrated circuit card and, for example, eleven player cards on each of which, a soccer player's photograph is printed. A card game system, including a plurality of terminal apparatuses, a card data reading unit for detecting unique data of each of cards when an operator arranges and manipulates a set of cards selected by the operator on a flat surface of the panel on the terminal apparatus, and a game execution unit which is arranged to organize a playing team in a virtual game space based on the data detected from the cards placed on the flat surface of the panel and to execute a game against another playing team organized on another terminal apparatus connected via a network. A progress of the game is controlled in response to manipulation by the operator with the cards on the panel, a main control unit to which individual game data is transmitted from the plurality of the terminal apparatuses, and a display connected to the main control unit.

A game apparatus includes a game execution unit, casing, card arrangement panel, luminator that illuminates the panel, sensor unit that receives light from the panel and generates image data, and recognition unit to separate data of each card, and detect positions of the cards. Each of the plurality of cards is printed with a game character on one of its surfaces and formed on the other of the surfaces with a code pattern including data relating the game character. The sensor unit generates data of the image including the code patterns of the cards on the panel. The recognition unit separates data of each card, and detects position on play field of cards arranged on the panel, from the data of the image and supplies information thus obtained to the execution unit. The execution unit executes a game in response to card manipulation by an operator.

Embodiments describe a card stack reader having an imaging unit which reads an image from a peripheral side portion of a stack of cards, each card having a read code along a peripheral side edge thereof, the read code indentifying the card, and a code recognizing unit which recognizes the read code of each from the image read by the imaging unit.
