A parallel folding device includes: a folding cylinder which transfers a signature; a first jaw cylinder having gripper boards; an upper second jaw cylinder in contact with the first jaw cylinder and having grippers; a lower second jaw cylinder in contact with and the first jaw cylinder and having grippers; and a cam mechanism, which switches delivery channels between a channel in which the signature is transferred from the gripper boards of the first jaw cylinder to only the grippers of any one of the upper and lower second jaw cylinders, and in which the signature is transferred to the grippers of the upper second jaw cylinder and the grippers of the lower second jaw cylinder; and a channel which concurrently performs the changing of phases for causing the respective gripper boards to operate, from the first jaw cylinder to the upper second jaw cylinder and/or the lower jaw cylinder.

Parallel folding device of folding machine

A parallel folding apparatus of a folding machine comprises a first cylinder in contact with a second cylinder. A guide plate guides a signature transported on the lower circumferential surface of the second cylinder after being double-folded by grippers of the second cylinder in cooperation with knives of the first cylinder. The guide plate comprises a stationary guide located downstream, in the rotating direction, of the point of contact between the first cylinder and the second cylinder and disposed continuously along the circumferential surfaces of the first cylinder and the second cylinder, and a moving guide movable in accordance with the operating speed of the folding machine between a position, closer to the circumferential surface of the first cylinder than the stationary guide, and a position, more remote from the circumferential surface of the first cylinder than the stationary guide.

Parallel folding apparatus of folding machine

The present invention provides a deflection yoke for deflecting an electron beam emitted from an electron gun of a CRT (cathode ray tube). The deflection yoke is mounted on the CRT at a position between a neck tube having a small diameter section and a funnel having a large diameter section of the CRT. The deflection yoke comprises a horizontal deflection coil for deflecting the electron beam in a horizontal direction in the CRT, a vertical deflection coil for deflecting the electron beam in a vertical direction in the CRT, and a yoke core having a cone shape with a large diameter part at one end thereof in a side of the funnel and a small diameter part at another end thereof in a side of the neck tube to allow the yoke core to cover the horizontal and vertical deflection coils. The yoke core is made of a molded magnetic material cured by heating. The molded magnetic material includes a binder comprising a resin and a magnetic powder treated with a surface treatment agent comprising a compound having an aminoquinone group as a constitution unit.
