In a connecting fastener consisting of a plurality of fasteners connected through a connecting member of synthetic resin, the connecting member includes a ring-shaped portion attached to so as to encircle the shaft of each of the fasteners to be connected and a connecting portion connected to the ring-shaped portions encircling adjacent fasteners. When the fasteners each suffers from the blow at the time of driving by a fastener driving tool, the ring-shaped portions each has strength enough to be held over the shaft and the connecting portion has strength enough to be broken.

A pneumatic tool includes a tool body, a nose part for ejecting a nail, which is provided in a lower part of the tool body, an air chamber for storing compressed air, which is provided in the tool body, an air supply pipe for supplying the compressed air from an air supply source to the air chamber, an air duster, an air duster pipeline connected to an air outlet of the air duster, and an air duster valve for controlling supply of the compressed air to the air duster pipeline.

A contact mechanism includes a contact top disposed on an outer peripheral portion of a leading end portion of a nose in such a manner that it is slidable along an axial direction of the nose, and a hollow nose top held by the contact top and including an ejection opening formed in front of an ejection opening formed in the nose in such a manner that the ejection opening of the nose top is connected continuously with the ejection opening of the nose. The contact top is connected to an adjuster mechanism through a contact arm and, at the same time, the contact top can be guided by the outer peripheral surface of the leading end portion of the nose.

A bumper for braking an impact piston is disposed at a lower part of an impact clinder for sidably housing the impact piston. The impact piston has a driver for driving a fastener and having a cylindrical shape at its upper portion. The bumper includes an upper part having a transverse section of an annulus ring the inner surface of which has a size to form a void been the inner surface and an outer surface of the upper portion of the driver, and a top surface for receiving the impact piston. The top surface has all outer diameter of the same size as that of the impact piston.
