Provided is a liquid feed apparatus for feeding liquid by operating a diaphragm at a high frequency, in which an inlet valve and an outlet valve are integrally incorporated with a liquid feed chamber, the positions of the valve are shifted into peripheral parts of the liquid feed chamber so as to allow fluid to smoothly flow from the inlet to the outlet in order to prevent air bubbles from causing pressure fluctuation during liquid feed, from remaining in the liquid feed chamber. Further, the valve has a center beam structure in which a protrusion having a height greater than several micron meters, is formed in the seat part of the valve so as to deform a center beam for pressurizing the valve in order to enhance the shut-off ability of the valve, and the center beam has a small surface area in the direction of displacement of the valve.

Liquid feed apparatus and automatic analyzing apparatus

A chemical analyzer for measuring a concentration of components of a sample liquid, by mixing the sample liquid with reagents, so as to react the reagents upon the components thereof, includes a carrier having an introducing portion through which the sample liquid is injected, passages for distributing the sample liquid injected from the introducing portion, and plural reactor portions which hold the sample liquid therein to be mixed with the reagent, thereby to react. A movable driver portion is provided on which the carrier is mounted and a reagent charging device is provided for ejecting the reagents which are different for the respective plural reactor portions of the carrier, sequentially. Further, a detector is provided for detecting the components after mixing the reagents with the sample liquid.

Chemical analyzer and chemical analyzing system

A chemically analyzing apparatus includes a plurality of reaction containers, a reaction container holder for holding the plurality of reaction containers and for supplying a sample and reagent at predetermined positions, a plurality of reagent containers for holding reagent adapted to be supplied into the reaction containers, a reagent container holder provided above the reaction container holder, for holding the plurality of reagent containers, a measuring part for measuring physical properties of the sample, a liquid feed mechanism provided in a lower part of each of the plurality of reagent containers, for supplying a predetermined quantity of reagent from each of the reagent container into the associated reaction containers by means of the liquid feed mechanism. With this arrangement, it is possible to provide a chemically analyzing apparatus incorporating a reagent supply mechanism which can prevent reagent from being uselessly consumed, which does not substantially require washing liquid, which does not require periodical disassembly and washing, and which can easily change the feed quantity of reagent.

An automatically analyzing apparatus includes a plurality of reaction containers for reacting a sample with a reagent, and a reaction container washing unit for washing the reaction containers through a plurality of washing steps. The reaction container washing unit includes a plurality of storage parts in each of which washing liquid containing therein reacted substance is reserved. The plurality of storage parts are sorted with different reacted substance concentrations. A supply part of the reaction container washing unit selects washing liquid of a desired reacted substance concentration among the plurality of storage parts in accordance with respective washing conditions of the reaction containers and supplies the selected washing liquid into the reaction containers for washing the respective reaction containers.

A micro pump is made compact and can prevent members constituting the micro pump from being chemically reacted with a working fluid, and a method of producing the same. After each of substrates constituting the micro pump is formed by a member containing a silicone as a main composition and a plurality of metal membranes are formed on a whole of a bonding surface of each of the substrates so as to form bonding surfaces, the bonding surfaces are cleaned, and the bonding surfaces are opposed to each other under a vacuum condition, overlapped, heated and pressed so as to be bonded. The valve portion has a beam and a protrusion for sealing as provided in the valve side, whereby a pressure applied to the protrusion becomes smaller than the bonding pressure.

Micro pump and method of producing the same

A chemical analyzing apparatus comprises a reaction cell holder which holds a plurality of reaction cells that are supplied with samples and reagents at a predetermined position, a measurer for measuring characteristics of the sample, a plurality of reagent containers, a liquid deliverer provided below each of the plurality of reagent containers, one or more sound wave generators provided outside the reaction cells, and storage containers for storing cleansing liquid with different contamination states. The cleansing liquid with different contamination states is reused according to the contamination levels of the reaction cells.

Heretofore, there has been demanded an automatic analysis apparatus which can prevent cross-contamination between reagents, which can prevent dust and gas from entering a reagent supply device, which can always know a remaining quantity of the reagent while can reduce the quantity of waste. Automatic analysis apparatus

A magnetic disk apparatus for recording information on and reproducing information from a magnetic disk with a magnetic head. A magnetic head supporting device includes a slider having the magnetic head mounted thereon, a flexible section supporting the slider, and a supporting section connected to the flexible section. The slider, the flexible section, and the supporting section are integrally formed from a same material. A rotary-type or linear-type positioning mechanism positions the magnetic head at a predetermined radial position of the magnetic disk.

Composite particles formed from resin particles and silica particles (amount of silica particles: 0.2 to 10 wt. % on the basis of the resin particles) in an apparatus for formation of composite particles are placed in a PTFE mold and heat treated to weld the resin particles to one another, thereby forming a structural element, which is dipped in an ethyl silicate solution containing monodispersed silica particles, then taken out of the solution and subjected to further heat treatment to form an ultimate structural element, which is sealed in a tip case, whereby a tip can be produced at a low cost and used to separate nucleic acid from a liquid sample for a short time at a high recovery rate without any defects such as breaking, etc.

Paper sheet matter sorting apparatus and paper sheet matter sorting

A hopper for feeding documents also serves as a stacker for stacking therein documents in a generally upright position. When the fed documents or the once-stacked documents are to be fed to a singulation mechanism, the hopper or stacker is put into a feeding mode, and when the documents are to be stacked or sorted, the hopper or stacker is switched to a stacking mode. Such hoppers or stackers are arranged in a plurality of stages, and when each sorting is to be effected, addresses are read while changing the mode of each hopper or stacker to repeat the sorting, so that the documents are sequenced by a radix sort method.
