A waterproof structure includes a body member, a lid member that includes a waterproof member that inhibits water from entering through the opening, a guide member and in which a shaft hole including a circular hole portion and a long hole portion communicating with the circular hole portion is formed, a shaft section that is provided in the lid member, is supported in the shaft hole, is rotated inside the circular hole portion, is regulated in the rotation thereof inside the long hole portion, and is guided to the body member side, a first biasing section that biases the shaft section in a removing direction away from the body member, a second biasing section that biases the shaft section in a rotation direction, and a locking member that locks the lid member to the body member in a state where the waterproof member inhibits water from entering through the opening.

A portable electronic apparatus has a water-resistant structure in which a cover covers a surface of an opening formed in a casing of the portable electronic apparatus. The portable electronic apparatus includes a mounting unit that has an outer peripheral surface to which frame-shaped packing that encompasses the opening is attached, and is formed on any one among the casing and the cover; and a groove that is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the mounting unit, and holds the frame-shaped packing therein enabling a surface of the frame-shaped packing to be brought into pressure contact with any one among the casing and the cover to which the mounting is not formed. The mounting unit has a side and a corner, and is of a shape that encompasses the opening, and the groove has a shape at the corner different from that along the side.

An electronic device includes: a case including a wall portion including an opening, and a pair of longitudinal grooves, wherein each of the longitudinal grooves includes a first groove portion that is disposed with the opening between the first groove portions; a second groove portion that is contiguous to the first groove portion through an inclined groove wall; a lid that moves along the longitudinal grooves, and that is brought closer to the wall portion by the inclined groove wall under an action of moving the lid to the first groove portion; a resilient member that is provided at the lid, and that is compressed by the wall portion and the lid by the action of moving the lid closer to the wall portion; and a connection member that is connected to an electronic component inside the case, and that is exposed from the opening when the opening is opened.

Electronic device

A mobile electronic device includes: a body unit that includes a waterproof area; and a cover unit that covers the waterproof area. One of the cover unit and the body unit includes: a sealing member that contacts a contact surface formed on a same plane as the other all along the periphery of the waterproof area, and seals the waterproof area; and a regulation unit that regulates the position of the sealing member.

A water-resistant cover placed on an electronic device in an attachable/removable manner, and for the water-resistant cover and the circumference of a water-resistant area of the electronic device, a sealing member is provided on the whole circumference in the circumference direction of the water-resistant area on one side, and a contact plane facing the sealing member is formed on the same plane on another side, and the water-resistant cover slides and put on the electronic device in the state in which the sealing member contacts the contact plane and pressed.

A recessed level difference is formed on at least one of junction faces of first and second housing units (case units) joined together, and, at a portion including the recessed level difference, a first sealing material (double-faced adhesive sheet), the signal line (flexible cable) or circuit unit, and a second sealing material are held between the first housing unit and the second housing unit. The adhesiveness and flexibility of the first sealing material and the elasticity of the second sealing material allow the signal line or circuit unit to pass through the seal portion while maintaining airtightness.

A waterproof testing device tests waterproof performance of a waterproof component. The testing device includes an input unit, a storing unit and a determining unit. The input unit inputs permeability of one or more test objects with waterproof components disposed thereon and an air flow rate that is a volume of gas passing through the test object per unit time for each test object. The storing unit stores, in a data pair, the permeability and the air flow rate of each test object input by the input unit. The determining unit determines a range of permeability in which no water leakage occurs in the waterproof component based on a range of air flow rate in which no water leakage occurs and the stored permeability and air flow rate.

Folding electric apparatus

A compact inexpensive optical disk drive adaptable to high-density optical disks is provided by improving a loading mechanism for an optical disk. A mechanism for loading an optical disk, in or from which information is optically recorded or reproduced, into the body of an optical disk drive is mounted on a chassis. The loading mechanism consists of a spindle motor, a lift plate, and a sheet loader. The spindle motor rotates an optical disk. The spindle motor is placed on the lift plate. The sheet loader moves the lift plate vertically to the chassis so as to attach or detach the spindle motor to or from the optical disk. In the storage device, the tilt of the lift plate relative to the chassis is adjusted at three points on the lift plate. Blade springs for constraining the lift plate to move towards the optical disk are interposed between the chassis and lift plate. The points to which spring forces exerted by the blade springs are applied are located on a surface of the lift plate opposite to the optical disk.

Storage device adjusting tilt angle of spindle motor against replaceable storage medium

A loading mechanism by which a disk cartridge can be loaded into a disk drive apparatus includes a mechanism for opening and closing a shutter of the disk cartridge; an elevating plate on which a spindle motor and an alignment pin for positioning the cartridge are mounted; and an oblique surface for moving the elevating plate onto the cartridge side for cartridge insertion. In one case, a front end portion of a first alignment pin is elliptically cylindrical, and only a front end portion of a second alignment pin is curved. The second alignment pin is offset onto the rear side of the apparatus. In another embodiment, a shutter sliding member includes: first and second sliding pieces which slide in a guide groove of a guide frame forming an insertion passage of the cartridge; and a torsion spring. In the first and the second sliding pieces, a shaft portion engages one end of the torsion spring, and a flange interposes the guide groove. In a third embodiment, the elevating plate has two sets of guide pins arranged perpendicularly to the cartridge inserting direction, symmetrically with each other, and the load plate of the elevator has two oblique surfaces on the right and two oblique surfaces on the left which receive the guide pins and pull up the guide pins when the load plate is moved, and starting positions of these oblique surfaces are shifted in the longitudinal direction.

An optical storage device adapted to accept a cartridge composed of a cartridge case and an optical recording medium accommodated in the cartridge case. The optical storage device includes a base, a light source mounted on the base, an optical head having an objective lens for focusing light from the light source onto the optical recording medium, and a photodetector mounted on the base for detecting a regenerative signal from reflected light from the optical recording medium. The optical storage device further includes a cartridge holder having a main surface for holding the cartridge inserted in the optical storage device. The main surface of the cartridge holder is integrally formed with first and second spring arms adjacent to each other and extending substantially along a first side of the cartridge holder. The main surface of the cartridge holder is further integrally formed with a third spring arm extending substantially along a second side of the cartridge holder opposite to the first side. Each of the first, second, and third spring arms has a projection at a front end portion thereof.
