A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell, a hydrogen tank, a driving motor, a power feeder and a controller. The controller is configured to: obtain current location information of the fuel cell vehicle, hydrogen supply position information, a fuel consumption of the fuel cell vehicle in a drive mode, a remaining amount of hydrogen stored in the hydrogen tank, and a consumed amount of hydrogen per unit time in a power feed mode; calculate an amount of hydrogen that is required for the fuel cell vehicle to drive from the current location to the supply position; calculate a power feedable time period when the fuel cell vehicle is operable in the power feed mode without causing the remaining amount of hydrogen to become less than the required amount of hydrogen, and display information with regard to the power feedable period.

When a remote start of an engine using a predetermined transmitter is performed, a security regarding theft of a vehicle can be prevented form being significantly deteriorated. The vehicle has a remote engine starter for remotely start an engine and a vehicle antitheft device for activating an alarm when there is a possibility of occurrence of vehicle theft. The remote engine starter and the vehicle antitheft device are connected to each other through a communication line. In a case where an engine start signal is supplied from the transmitter, the remote engine starter is caused to supply a start signal to the vehicle antitheft device through the communication line before causing a contact point closing signal to be supplied to an ignition relay. When the start signal is supplied to the vehicle antitheft device, preventing apparatus, only the security function regarding conditions of no-insertion of an ignition key and an ignition ON is cancelled to be an unvigilant state, and the security function regarding other conditions is maintained to be a vigilant state.

A control system for improving the security level of a security device. A portable device is provided with a communication function and has a portable device ID code. A security controller includes a memory for recording a controller ID code. The security controller communicates with the portable device to determine whether the portable device ID code matches the controller ID code, and controls deactivation of security functions for a door lock driver and an engine controller based on the determination result. In response to a restriction request signal, the management apparatus transmits a function restriction signal to the security controller. The security controller prohibits or restricts control of the door lock driver or the engine controller when receiving the function restriction signal and communicating with the portable device.

A security control system for improving security. The security control system includes a portable device, having a communication function and a portable device ID code. A security controller includes a memory for recording a controller ID code. The security controller communicates with the portable device and determines whether the portable device ID code matches the controller ID code. In accordance with the determination, the security controller selectively deactivates the security functions of a door lock driver and an engine controller. The security controller records and registers the portable device ID code as the controller ID code in the memory and transmits a registration signal containing the portable device ID code. A portable device management apparatus receives the registration signal from the security controller and manages the portable device based on the registration signal.

A vehicle antitheft device prevents an erroneous activation of a theft preventing function due to an activation of a system, which is capable of starting an engine in a state where a key is not inserted in an ignition key cylinder. A power source control device causes a starter motor to start the engine when the key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder or an authentication collation through a radio communication is completed. The vehicle antitheft device activates an alarm when an IG signal from the power source control device becomes an ON signal in an uninserted state of the key into the ignition key cylinder. A push start switch, which is push-operated at a time of an engine start, is connected to the power source control device and the vehicle antitheft device. The power source control apparatus turns an ACC signal and the IG signal supplied to the vehicle antitheft device to an ON state in that order when the collation with the portable equipment through a radio communication is completed after an operation of the push start switch. The vehicle antitheft device changes a security function to an unvigilant state when the ACC signal is changed to an ON state.

A door lock control device prevents deterioration in anti-theft property of a vehicle by restricting unjust cancellation of a locked state of a door of the vehicle. In-vehicle operation detecting means detects a predetermined operation performed in a compartment of the vehicle. Locked state canceling means cancels the locked state of the door when the predetermined operation is detected by the in-vehicle operation detecting means. Unjust act detecting means detects an unjust act applied to the vehicle. Locked state cancellation prohibiting means prohibits cancellation of the locked state by the locked state canceling means after the unjust act is detected by the unjust act detecting means.
