An automatic opening and closing device including: a trunk lid; a drive unit which generates drive force for operating the opening and closing member; a hinge arm which is mounted between a rear fender and wheel house inner panel and the trunk lid; and a first link and a second link which transmit the drive force of the drive unit to the trunk lid. The drive unit is fitted to an edge portion of a trunk room aperture portion, and the first and second link are provided so as to straddle the hinge arm.

Automatic opening and closing device

Provided is a power actuator system for actuating a closure member () such as a trunk lid which is compact in size and has a minimized protrusion. A first link () is connected to an output shaft of a powered actuator (), and a free end of the first link is connected to an end of a second link (). The other end of the second link is pivotally connected to a hinge arm () which is fixedly attached to a closure member and pivotally supports the closure member to a fixed part such as a vehicle body. The first link is adapted to extend substantially from the output shaft towards the closure member as the first link swing around the output shaft, and the second link extends substantially perpendicularly with respect to the center line.

Power actuator system for actuating a closure member

An object of the invention is to improve a layout property of members arranged on the brush holder. Power feeding terminals are formed in a flat shape extending in an axial direction of an armature shaft, and the power feeding terminal is arranged side by side in a width direction with respect to the power feeding terminal in one end portion of a brush holder. A condenser is provided between the power feeding terminals and the armature shaft. Further, a power supply circuit for electrically connecting the power feeding terminals to a leaf spring brush is electrically connected to a motor housing via a grounding stay, and a choke coil for reducing a noise generated in the power supply circuit is arranged so as to be lapped over a screw member fixing the leaf spring brush to the brush holder in the axial direction of the armature shaft.

Electric motor

The invention provides to make an automatic opening and closing apparatus for a vehicle to be thin. An outer rack is attached to an outer side of a stay fixed to a vehicle in such a manner as to freely move in an axial direction along the stay. A thickness of the stay is set to be smaller than a width, and a cross sectional shape thereof is formed so as to be in a substantially thin convex shape. A width in a base end wall portion of the outer rack is formed so as to be larger than a width of a side surface wall portion corresponding to a thickness of the outer rack, and the outer rack is formed in a substantially thin C cross sectional shape. It is possible to make a thickness of a slide mechanism about a gear with of rack gears lined up in an axial direction in the side surface wall portion by making the width of the side surface wall portion slightly larger than the gear width of the rack gear.

Automatic opening and closing apparatus for vehicle

An appearance of a vehicle is improved by reducing an opening formed in an interior trim for vehicle. An actuator unit is mounted in a pillar of the vehicle, and a linking rod is linked to a rack bar, which linearly reciprocates along an axial direction provided at this actuator unit. This linking rod protrudes from the pillar through the opening formed in an interior trim, and the other end thereof is linked to a back door. Moreover, this actuator unit is disposed so that a moving direction of the rack bar inclines on a vehicle-rear side by an opening/closing inclination angle &agr; with respect to a direction perpendicular to the vehicle and inclines inward in a vehicle-width direction by a width inclination angle.

Automatically opening and closing system for vehicle

Improving layout characteristics of a detecting switch with respect to a control board to miniaturize an electric actuator. Switch-side connecting terminals are provided in a limit switch constituting a panel-position detecting mechanism, which is fixed to an outer face of a motor cover. Meanwhile, board-side connecting terminals having connecting portions to be terminal-connected to the switch-side connecting terminals are fixed to the control board, and the control board is disposed inside the motor cover and is fixed in a board case. By moving the limit switch toward the connecting portions, the switch-side connecting terminals and the connecting portions are connected, whereby the limit switch and the control board are connected.

Electric actuator

The sunroof driving device includes an electric motor, a worm gear provided on an armature shaft of the electric motor, a worm wheel gear meshing with the worm gear, an output shaft coupled with the worm wheel gear, and a drive gear which is provided on the output shaft and which meshes with a wire for driving a roof panel. A panel-position detecting mechanism for detecting the position of the roof panel and a tool hole for manually driving the roof panel in emergency are disposed coaxially with the output shaft. The tool hole is formed in the main shaft of the panel-position detecting mechanism. Also, the armature shaft is constituted so as to slide from the output shaft side, thus coupling the worm wheel gear and the output shaft with each other without any clutch interposed therebetween. The output shaft is provided with a fitting hole which provides the body-side manual operation section for manually driving the roof panel in emergency. The panel-position detecting mechanism is formed on the output shaft as a unit detachable therefrom and also has a tool hole as the unit-side manual operation section.

Sunroof driving device

Cable guides for keeping the push-pull cable in mesh with a pinion are effectively reinforced by a member connecting the free ends of the cable guides. In particular, even when the cable guides are made of a plastic member, and the push-pull cable drive unit is subjected to high temperature environments, the meshing between the cable and the pinion is ensured. Thus, the present invention provides a stable and reliable operation of the push-pull cable drive unit with a simple and economical arrangement. This arrangement is particulalry useful for automotive sunroofs.

Push-pull cable drive unit assembly

An electric motor, used for moving a seat of a vehicular seat apparatus, is mounted to mounting brackets so as not to produce vibration or unusual sounds. A cylindrical stepped portion projects from a bottom surface of a yoke of the electric motor. A fitting recess, formed in a frame member, is press-fitted over the yoke stepped portion such that the second frame member is checked from rotating relative to a motor armature shaft, but is allowed to move axially. The electric motor, including the second frame member, is disposed between a pair of first and second mounting brackets arranged in an opposed relationship in the axial direction of the electric motor. The electric motor is fixed by tightening screws into threaded holes formed in the frame member from an outer surface of the adjacent mounting bracket so that no gap is left between the frame member and the adjacent mounting bracket.

Motor mount for vehicular seat apparatus

A structure for a terminal section of a motor having a plurality of terminals juxtaposed with each other and extending in the axial direction of the motor shaft. The plurality of terminals are inserted into an end case covering the yoke opening, and have lead connecting portions at the distal ends thereof, which are exposed to the outside of the end case and to which a plurality of leads are individually connected. The lead connecting portions are exposed in a stepped manner, that is, they are subsequently shifted from each other both in the direction around and in the direction along the motor shaft. The leads are connected to the exposed lead connecting portions from directions substantially perpendicular to the motor shaft. The structure is capable of ensuring a sufficient insulating distance and reducing the motor size without lowering operational efficiency during production and without increasing the number of sealing locations.

Structure for terminal section of motor

A speed reducing device employs dampers which are provided for power transmission from a worm wheel engaged with a worm gear to an output shaft of the device so as to absorb shocks. The device does not require a metallic plate to which the dampers are adhered nor a bearing which specifically supports the output shaft. A first wheel is engaged with the worm gear and has protrusions on its plate surface facing a second wheel. The second wheel is rigidly connected to the output shaft and has protrusions on its plate surface facing the first wheel. The protrusions of the first and second wheels take complementary positions, in which each protrusion of one wheel is apart from the adjacent protrusion of the other wheel a predetermined distance with respect to the rotational direction. The dampers are provided between neighboring protrusions of the first and second wheels so that the dampers are pressed and contracted to elastically transmit power from the first wheel to the second wheel.

Speed reducing device for electrical equipment

Disclosed are a motor casing made of a resin and a method of manufacturing such a motor casing. A bearing for rotatably supporting a core shaft of a rotor core is inserted into a bearing seat portion of the motor casing when the temperature of the resin material which forms the bearing seat portion is substantially at the glass transition temperature thereof or above, the resin material being cooled to a room temperature.

In a small-sized motor with a worm reduction gear wherein a worm, an armature and the like are coupled onto the outer periphery of an intermediate portion of a motor shaft and fixed thereto; the motor shaft is inserted into a gear case, whereby a worm wheel is meshed with the worm; a journal member having the outer diameter larger than that of the worm is projectingly provided at a position close to the worm of the motor shaft; a bearing in the intermediate portion is fixed to the gear case; and the journal member is supported by this bearing in the intermediate portion.

Method of manufacturing a motor casing made of resin

A motor case end plate structure, comprising: a motor case accommodating a motor unit therein and provided with a first radial bearing for a rotor shaft of the motor unit; a radial flange provided at an open end of the motor case; and an end plate, made of molded synthetic resin, having a second radial bearing for the rotor shaft and adapted to be attached to the motor case by way of the flange; the end plate being provided with at least three separate peripheral mounting surfaces disposed around the rotor shaft and projecting from surrounding parts so as to substantially directly abut an outer end surface of the flange of the motor case. Thereby, any error in the planeness of the mounting surfaces or any error in their perpendicularity with respect to the axial line of the motor unit can be readily corrected by shaping the part of the die for molding the end plate corresponding to the mounting surface to be corrected without requiring excessive cost or time. Thus, an exact alignment between the motor case and the end plate can be accomplished in an economical fashion.
