A light-emitting module includes: a plurality of light sources; and a lightguide plate including a plurality of light source placement sections, in each of which at least one light source is arranged, arrayed in a first direction and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The lightguide plate defines at least one first-A light control groove and at least one first-B light control groove that extend parallel to the second direction between a first light source placement section and a second light source placement section adjacent to the first light source placement section in the first direction, and at least one second-A light control groove and at least one second-B light control groove that extend parallel to the first direction between the first light source placement section and a third light source placement section adjacent to the first light source placement section in the second direction.

Light-emitting module

A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element including first and second main surface, and a first lateral surface; a wavelength conversion member including a third main surface, a fourth main surface, and second lateral surfaces; a light-transmissive adhesive member; and a first light-reflective member containing a light-reflective first filler, covering the first lateral surface provided with the light-transmissive adhesive member, and including third lateral surfaces being peripheral surfaces of the first light-reflective member. In a cross-section in a direction perpendicular to the second main surface, a distance between the third lateral surfaces is smaller than a distance between the second lateral surfaces at a fourth main surface side. Each of the second lateral surfaces of the wavelength conversion member includes a first inclined surface in a region adjacent to the third main surface. The wavelength conversion member includes light-reflective particles located on the first inclined surface.

Light-emitting device, light-emitting module, and method of manufacturing light-emitting device

A method for manufacturing a light-transmissive member includes: providing a supporting member, and a light-transmissive sheet disposed on the supporting member, the light-transmissive sheet including: a first layer containing substantially no phosphor, and a second layer containing a phosphor; and forming a plurality of light-transmissive members from the light-transmissive sheet by dividing the light-transmissive sheet with a blade over the supporting member, such that each light-transmissive member includes: a first portion formed by separation of the first layer by a first crevice, the first portion containing substantially no phosphor, and a second portion formed by separation of the second layer by a second crevice, the second portion containing a phosphor, wherein one of the first portion and the second portion is layered on the other of the first portion and the second portion.
