A connector includes a second housing fittable with a first housing, a slide member movable relative to the first housing along a connector fitting direction, a transmission gear member rotatably supported by a support shaft provided on the first housing, a first rack gear portion provided on the slide member along the connector fitting direction, a driven gear portion of the transmission gear member rotated by movement of the first rack gear portion in the connector fitting direction, a main drive gear portion of the transmission gear member provided on a side opposite to the driven gear portion with the support shaft interposed therebetween, and a second rack gear portion provided on the second housing along the connector fitting direction, and movable relative to the first housing along the connector fitting direction by rotation of the main drive gear portion.

Connector

An attachment structure for an electronic component accommodation box including a vibration proof structure includes a damping structure between a vehicle body side attachment member and a casing in which at least one electronic component is mounted. The damping structure includes first sliding portions, second sliding portions, and damping members interposed between the first sliding portions and the second sliding portions. The damping members generate sliding resistance between each of the first sliding portions and each of the second sliding portions when the casing moves relative to the vehicle body side attachment member.

Electrical connector

Lever-type connector

A male terminal fitting and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed as including a plate-shaped contact protrusion () formed at one side for mating with a female terminal fitting, and a conductor clamping portion () located at the other side for clamping a conductor of an electric wire. The plate-shaped contact protrusion includes a base plate component () extending from the conductor clamping portion in a longitudinally elongated shape, and an overlapping fold plate component () laterally extending from a side of the base plate component. The plate-shaped contact protrusion further includes a flatness securing plate component () laterally extending from the base plate component and overlaps with the overlapping fold plate component to ensure flatness conditions of the base plate component and the overlapping fold plate component. In the method, a plurality of sequentially arrayed male terminal fittings are formed by stamping operation and a forming operation is implemented to form each of the terminal fittings into final shapes, respectively.

Male terminal fitting and method of manufacturing the same

A connector includes terminals having engagement parts. The connector includes a connector housing having chambers configured to insert and receive the terminals from the rears of the chambers. The connector includes projecting flexible locking arms including locking parts configured to lock with the engagement parts of the terminals. A single flexible arm is positioned to each of the chambers. The flexible locking arm has a front end supported on a front wall of the connector housing. The flexible locking arm has a rear end supported on a peripheral wall of the connector housing. The flexible locking arm includes a flexible part between the front and rear ends. The flexible part includes a locking part. The flexible part is flexibly deformable relative to an engagement part of a terminal. The locking part is lockable with the engagement part of the terminal received in a chamber.

A connector has a pair of male and female connector housings. The male connector housinghas an inner housingthat receives a looseness protecting wedge ringhaving a tapered rear end surface. A connector includes a connector housing that has a first terminal and an inner housing that has a second terminal, and is configured to be fitted into the connector housing so that the second terminal is connected to the first terminal. A first slanting face is formed on an outer peripheral face of the inner housing. The connector housing have a chamber for receiving the inner housing therein when the inner housing is fitted into the connector housing. A first prevention face is formed on an inner peripheral face of the chamber. The first slanting face is surface-contacted with the first prevention face when the inner housing is completely fitted into the connector housing.

A terminal examination jigincludes a jig bodyhaving a gauge receiving portionand a terminal holding portion, and a limit gaugereleasably supported pivotally on a support pinextending through the gauge receiving portionin a bridging manner. The terminal receiving portionhas a fixing surfaceagainst which a bottom surface of a terminal (an object to be examined) is adapted to abut, and a fixing screwfor pressing the terminal against the fixing surfaceto hold the terminal is provided at the terminal receiving portion. The limit gaugehas an opening portionwhich is formed into a shape corresponding to the shape of an electrical contact portion of the terminal. Whether or not the bending of the terminal is within a tolerance is judged by checking whether or not the electrical contact portion can pass through the opening portionwithout interference when the limit gaugeis pivotally moved about the support pin

Terminal examination jig

A first connector housing is provided with a first guide member extending in a first direction. A second connector housing is adapted to be fitted with the first connector housing in the first direction. The second connector housing is provided with a second guide member extending in the first direction. The first guide member and the second guide member are so configured as to guide a fitting operation of the first connector housing and the second connector housing while being brought into points or line contact with each other.

A connector terminal which includes a terminal base portion; and a tab extending from the terminal base portion to come into contact with an opponent terminal. The tab includes a bottom face portion and a folded portion extending from the bottom face portion formed by bending. The bottom face portion and the folded portion at a foot portion of the tab overlap each other to constitute at least a threefold structure.

Connector terminal

An electric wire includes a conductive core wire and an insulative sheath covering the core wire. An elastic waterproof plug is fit with the electric wire such that a first longitudinal end portion thereof is fit with the core wire, and a second longitudinal end portion thereof is fit with the sheath. A conductive terminal is electrically connected with the electric wire, and inserted into a terminal insertion hole formed in the waterproof connector housing together with the waterproof plug to seal the terminal insertion hole. The terminal includes a first clamping member which clamps over the first end portion of the waterproof plug, and a second clamping member which clamps over a part of the core wire exposed from the first end portion of the waterproof plug.

An adapter has a cylindrical body which is screwed onto a battery post, and a flange portion formed on a top portion of the cylindrical body to be clamped by a screwing tool. A terminal body includes a substantially U-shaped adaptor fitting portion which accommodates the adapter therein, and a seat portion on which an electric wire terminal is fixed. A lever includes a cam portion and is supported on the terminal body so as to be pivotable between a first position and a second position. A space in which the flange portion is capable of passing through is secured inside of the adaptor fitting portion when the lever is in the first position. The cam portion is abutted against an outer periphery of the cylindrical body of the adaptor so that the adaptor is retained between the cam portion and an inner face of the adaptor fitting portion, when the lever is in the second position. The flange portion of the adaptor is engaged with a top end face of the adapter fitting portion of the terminal body.

Wire connecting connector

Provided is a connector designed for double retention of a terminal fitting, which inhibits flexure of a flexible lance retaining the terminal fitting by pushing a front holder from a temporary retention position into a full retention position. The connector includes at least any one of abutting planes of a retaining protrusion and a retention arm performing temporary retention of the front holder, as an element to strengthen retention when pushing force is applied to the front holder. Specifically, said abutting plane is formed as an inclined plane with an angle in a direction of generating bites upon application of pushing force. And the connector is designed to effectuate release of retention by means of inserting a retention release jig from a front side of the connector housing.
