An application processing unit executes an application that is perforated as a notification device mounted in a vehicle. In the application processing unit, an input unit acquires information indicating that the vehicle is receiving driving assistance. In the application processing unit, an output unit outputs notifications to other vehicles in accordance with the information that has been acquired at the input unit.

Notification device and vehicle using same

An application processing unit executes an application that is performed as a notification device mounted in a vehicle. In the application processing unit, an input unit acquires information indicating that the vehicle is receiving driving assistance. In the application processing unit, an output unit outputs notifications to other vehicles in accordance with the information that has been acquired at the input unit.

A first terminal device is disclosed that is mountable in a first vehicle. The first terminal device comprises: an acquirer that acquires first information on the first vehicle; a receiver that receives a packet signal from a second terminal device, the packet signal including second information on a second vehicle in which the second terminal device is mounted; a controller that selects a first plurality of driving supports that are capable of being provided to a driver of the first vehicle among a second plurality of driving supports, based on the first information and the second information; and a display that displays each of images representing each of the first plurality of the driving supports in more detail as priority given to each of the first plurality of the driving supports is higher.

Terminal device

A terminal device is disclosed that is mountable in a vehicle. The terminal device comprises an acquirer, storage and a controller. The acquirer acquires, from the vehicle, i) traveling direction information indicating traveling directions of the vehicle in accordance with movement of the vehicle and ii) winker direction information indicating a winker direction indicated by a direction indicator of the vehicle. The controller i) stores in the storage the traveling direction information indicating a first traveling direction of the traveling directions, the first traveling direction being acquired when the acquirer has acquired the winker direction information, and ii) updates the traveling direction information indicating the first traveling direction with the traveling direction information indicating a second traveling direction, the second traveling direction being acquired after the acquirer has acquired the winker direction information, when the second traveling direction indicates a direction opposite to the winker direction.

A first communication unit receives packet signals broadcast from a base station apparatus and also receives packet signals broadcast from other terminal apparatuses according to a first communication scheme. A second communication unit communicates with a mobile apparatus according to a second communication scheme that differs from the first communication scheme. A receiving unit receives a filtering condition from the mobile apparatus by way of the second communication unit. A filtering unit selects a packet signal, which matches the filtering condition, from among the packet signals received by the first communication unit. A transfer unit transfers information, contained in the selected packet signal selected, from the second communication unit to the mobile apparatus.

Terminal apparatus for transferring signal containing predetermined information and communication system

An RF unit and a modem unit receive packet signals. A processing unit processes the received packet signals. A measurement unit measures the received power of the packet signals received. A monitoring unit monitors the variation in the received power of the packet signals measured by the measurement unit. When the received power increases in such a manner that the variation monitored by the monitoring unit is larger than a threshold value, a notification unit starts to convey information reflecting the content of the packet signals processed by the processing unit.

Radio apparatus that receives signals containing predetermined information

It is specified in a manner such that a frame containing a first period formed by a plurality of slots and a second period having a predetermined length is repeated. A detecting unit detects a slot, which is usable for the communications between a plurality of other terminal apparatuses, from among a plurality of slots in the first period of a frame containing the first period and the second period. A modem unit and an RF unit broadcast information on the detected slot.

Notifying method, and access control device

A positional information acquiring unit acquires positional information of a vehicle. An intersection predicting unit predicts an intersection, which the vehicle will enter, by associating the positional information with map information. An entrance predicting unit acquires the positional information of another vehicle included in a packet signal from a transmitting apparatus mounted on the other vehicle and associates the positional information of the other vehicle with the map information, thereby predicting whether the other vehicle enters the intersection predicted by the intersection predicting unit. When entrance of the other vehicle is predicted, an effect predicting unit predicts whether travel of the other vehicle has an effect on this vehicle based on traveling direction information of the other vehicle acquired from the packet signal. The notifying unit notifies presence of the other vehicle when presence of the effect is predicted.
