A vehicle stability control device includes a yaw moment generation device and a control device. A variation yaw moment generated by simultaneous turn and acceleration/deceleration is expressed as a function of a longitudinal acceleration and a lateral acceleration. A longitudinal force and a lateral force of a tire have non-linear load dependency. The variation yaw moment when assuming that the load dependency is linear is a first variation yaw moment. The variation yaw moment considering the non-linear load dependency is a second variation yaw moment that is expressed as a product of the first variation yaw moment and a correction gain. In vehicle stability control, the control device controls the yaw moment generation device to generate a counter yaw moment counteracting the second variation yaw moment, based on the longitudinal acceleration, the lateral acceleration, and the correction gain.

Provided is a driving force control apparatus () configured to control driving forces applied to four wheels by controlling a driving force application apparatus (in-wheel motors (FL toRR) and friction braking apparatus ()) configured to apply driving forces to front left and right wheels (FL andFR) and rear left and right wheels (RL andRR) independently. The driving force control apparatus () is configured to: calculate vehicle body speeds Vat positions of the four wheels, vertical loads Fzof the four wheels, and a driving force Fx required by a driver (Sto S); calculate, based on those values, target driving forces Ffor the four wheels to set tire sliding vectors of the four wheels to be the same (S); and control the driving force application apparatus such that the driving forces of the four wheels are equal to corresponding target driving forces, respectively (S).

Driving force control apparatus for a four-wheel drive vehicle

A temperature sensing element includes a thermistor composed of Si-base ceramics and a pair of metal electrodes bonded onto the surfaces of the thermistor. The metal electrodes contain Cr and a metal element &#x3b1; having a Si diffusion coefficient higher than that of Cr. A diffusion layer is formed in a bonding interface between the thermistor and each metal electrode, the diffusion layer including a silicide of the metal element &#x3b1; in a crystal grain boundary of the Si-base ceramics. A temperature sensor including the diffusion layers is provided. Owing to the diffusion layers, the temperature sensor ensures heat resistance and bonding reliability and enables temperature detection with high accuracy in a temperature range, in particular, of from &#x2212;50&#xb0; C. to 1050&#xb0; C.

A corrosion-resistant conduction film comprises an iron-containing titanium phosphide layer containing Ti, Fe and P as essential basic elements. A corrosion-resistant conduction material having this corrosion-resistant conduction film on a surface of a substrate exhibits good corrosion resistance or conductivity. This corrosion-resistant conduction material can be obtained, for example, by a process comprising a plating step of forming an Ni plating layer on a surface of a Ti-based material substrate and a nitriding step of applying nitriding treatment to the Ti-based material substrate after the plating step at not more than 880 deg. C.

The build-up wear-resistant copper alloy and valve seat are characterized by having a composition of nickel: 5.0-24.5%, iron: 3.0-20.0%, silicon: 0.5-5.0%, boron: 0.05-0.5%, chromium: 0.3-5.0%, one member or two members or more selected from the group consisting of molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium: 3.0-20.0%, by weight %, and the balance being copper and inevitable impurities.

Build-up wear-resistant copper alloy and valve seat

This is to provide a build-up wear-resistant copper-based alloy, which is advantageous for enhancing the cracking resistance and machinability, which is appropriate for cases of building up to form built-up layers especially, and which is equipped with the wear resistance, cracking resistance and machinability combinedly in a well balanced manner. A build-up wear-resistant copper-based alloy is characterized in that it has a composition, which includes nickel: 5.0-20.0%; silicon: 0.5-5.0%; manganese: 3.0-30.0%; and an element, which combines with manganese to form a Laves phase and additionally to form silicide: 3.0-30.0%; by weight %, and inevitable impurities; and additionally the balance being copper. The element can be one member or two or more members of titanium, hafnium, zirconium, vanadium, niobium and tantalum.

Build-up wear-resistant copper-based alloy

To provide a sliding member that exhibits excellent durability and is free of lead. A swash plate for a compressor as the sliding member of the invention contains a base material having on the surface thereof a sliding layer constituting at least a sliding surface, on which shoes slide. The sliding layer contains a first layer that contains an amorphous hard carbon (diamond-like carbon) film containing Si (DLC-Si film) and is formed on the base material, and a second layer that is formed on the first layer and contains polyamideimide (PAI) containing a solid lubricant such as MoS.

This aims to provide a wear-resistant copper-based alloy, which is advantages in not only enhancing wear resistance in a high temperature range but also enhancing crack resistance and machinability and which is especially suitable for forming a cladding layer. The wear-resistant copper-based alloy comprises, by weight, 4.7 to 22.0% nickel, 0.5 to 5.0% silicon, 2.7 to 22.0% iron, 1.0 to 15.0% chromium, 0.01 to 2.00% cobalt, 2.7 to 22.0% one or more of tantalum, titanium, zirconium and hafnium, and the balance of copper with inevitable impurities.

Wear-resistant copper-based alloy

A sliding film includes a solid lubricant, a binder resin, and a low-melting-point material. The binder resin is for holding the solid lubricant on a surface of a substrate, and exhibits a glass transition temperature. The low-melting-point material exhibits a melting point lower than the glass transition temperature of the binder resin. The low-melting-point material demonstrates a latent heat which can absorb frictional heat generated between sliding members, and accordingly retards the degradation of the binder resin. As a result, the sliding film produces high seizure resistance.
