In a double-clutch transmission, a clutch of an input shaft which is not synchronously rotated with a output shaft is connected to synchronize the speed of rotation of the input shaft with that of the engine, and the rotational speed of the input shaft is measured to thereby detect a engine rotational speed.

Double-clutch transmission

A control apparatus of a vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine; a transmission, including a group of gears made to mesh with synchronizing mechanisms for attaining a predetermined change of gear; an internal combustion engine controller stopping the internal combustion engine when receiving a first control stop signal; a transmission controller, controlling the synchronizing mechanisms via an actuator actuated by a power source driven by the internal combustion engine, when a shift lever is in a drive force cut-off position, the transmission controller releasing the meshing of the synchronizing mechanism when receiving a second control stop signal; and a control stop signal controller, transmitting the second control stop signal to the transmission controller when detecting that an ignition switch of the vehicle is switched off, and transmitting the first control stop signal to the internal combustion engine controller after the transmission controller has released the meshing of the synchronizing mechanism.

A belt-type continuously variable transmission is provided with a housing end wall that is formed with a bearing mounting hole, through which one end portion of a primary shaft penetrates, a rolling bearing that rotatably supports, in a state that it is fitted in the bearing mounting hole, the one end portion of the primary shaft having a primary pulley, a flange that projects from the inside circumferential surface of the bearing mounting hole on the housing inward side, a bearing retainer that is provided on the outside surface of the end wall and cooperates with the flange to pinch the bearing, and a cover that is connected to the housing and covers the one end portion of the primary shaft and the bearing retainer.

Continuously variable transmission

A structure for supporting a one-way clutch between a planetary gear mechanism and the casing of an automatic transmission. The one-way clutch prevents reverse rotation of a speed-change gear. In the one-way clutch, an outer race and the planetary gear mechanism are integrally fixed to each other. An inner race and the casing are in meshing engagement with each other through a spline formed therebetween. Further, a meshing clearance is formed in the spline such that the inner race can move radially relative to the casing within a range of maintaining the meshed state.
