A pick-up style utility vehicle has a front seat, a rear seat, and a cargo bed, a cabin frame surrounding a riding space, and a screen shield partitioning the cargo bed and a rear riding space in front of the cargo bed. The cargo bed can be changed between an expanded state in which the cargo bed is expanded in a front direction into the rear riding space and a non-expanded state not occupying the rear riding space. The screen shield is directly or indirectly supported by a swinging shaft provided on a vehicle body and is swingable between a position in the expanded state and a position in the non-expanded state.

Pick-up style utility vehicle with expandable cargo bed

A pick-up style utility vehicle has a front seat, a rear seat, and a cargo bed. The cargo bed is expandable forward and has a screen shield for partitioning at a front end thereof. The rear seat has a seat bottom for the rear seat detachably attached to a rear seat attaching portion provided on a vehicle body. The screen shield has a seat holding portion to which the seat bottom, detached from the rear seat attaching portion, is attachable.

A pick-up style utility vehicle includes a front seat, a rear seat, a screen shield, a cargo bed, and a cabin frame housing at least the front seat and the rear seat and forming a riding space. The cargo bed is state changeable between the expanded state in which the cargo bed expands forward and the unexpanded state not occupying the riding space. The cabin frame includes a pair of left and right front side frame bodies, a pair of left and right rear side frame bodies, and cross frame members coupling the front and rear side frame bodies. The front side frame bodies are fixed to the vehicle body and the rear side frame bodies and the cross frame members are changeable with respect to the vehicle body according to the state change of the cargo bed.

A pick-up style utility vehicle with an expandable cargo bed, including a front seat, a rear seat, a stationary bottom plate serving as a bottom face of the cargo bed, an expansion bottom plate for expanding the bottom face of the cargo bed, and a shared linkage mechanism for holding the rear seat at a use position where the rear seat is positioned on the upper side of the stationary bottom plate and a shunting position where the rear seat is shunted into a rear leg room provided in front of and below the stationary bottom plate. The shared linkage mechanism also holds the expansion bottom plate at a storage position where the expansion bottom plate is above the stationary bottom plate and an expansion position where the expansion bottom plate is positioned over the leg room.

A pick-up style utility vehicle has a driver's seat, a seat next to the driver's seat, one or more passenger seats behind the driver's seat, and a cargo bed. Each of all the passenger seats and the seat next to the driver's seat is independently changeable between a first state in which the seat is seatable and a second state in which the seat is retracted so that an occupied space of the seat can be used as part of the cargo bed. Preferably, a screen shield partitioning the cargo bed and a riding space in front of the cargo bed is provided. The screen shield is divided into left and right screen shield members.

A three-level three-phase inverter apparatus operating on a proposed pulse width modulation method whereby good output voltages are obtained free of the effects of the minimum pulse width constraints of switching devices and whereby the neutral point voltage is controlled. The apparatus has a modulation circuit containing a microprocessor and a voltage vector selection circuit. The microprocessor divides one period into six segments of 60 degrees each. Each segment is divided into four triangular regions each determined by the vertexes of voltage vectors. An output voltage command is given as a vector. Once the segment and region to which a given vector belongs are determined, the voltage vectors corresponding to that region and the order in which to output these vectors are derived from the predetermined vector combinations and their output orders stored beforehand in the voltage vector selection circuit. Each vector output order is arranged so that one voltage vector is replaced by another through a switching operation of any one phase. The time average of these consecutively output voltage vectors in a given carrier period is modulated to coincide with the value of the command vector. This scheme provides good output voltage waveforms while controlling the neutral point voltage.

Three-level three-phase inverter apparatus

A power conversion apparatus includes: a reference signal generating circuit for generating a reference signal which has a first frequency; a first power converter for converting D.C. power into A.C. power which has the first frequency; a transformer connected to the first power converter; a carrier signal generating circuit for generating a carrier signal which has a second frequency which is higher than the first frequency; a second power converter having a plurality of switching devices and as well as converting the output from the transformer into A.C. power which has the second frequency; a command signal generating circuit for generating a command signal for commanding the quantity of the output from the second power converter; and a second-power-converter control circuit for generating a drive signal for driving a plurality of the switching devices of the second power converter in such a manner that the drive signal is generated in response to the reference signal generated by the reference signal generating circuit and a command signal generated by the command signal generating circuit and as well as in synchronization with the carrier signal generated by the carrier signal generating circuit.

An a.c. power supply apparatus, such as an uninterruptible power supply apparatus or a fuel cell power generation apparatus, has first, second and third converting devices connected in star configuration with a common bus, whereby the number of power converting devices is reduced and a compact, light weight and efficient power supply apparatus is realized.

A.C. power supply apparatus

A 3-phase converter apparatus, in which a 3-phase A.C. power supply and a 3-phase converter operate in parallel on a common load BUS so as to share the load power, has an output voltage command generating device for generating an instantaneous command of the output voltage from the converter, and instantaneous voltage control device for controlling the converter so as to reduce the deviation of the instantaneous value of the output voltage of the converter from the instantaneous command generated by the output voltage command generating device. The converter includes at least one semiconductor switch for effecting a plurality of switching cycles in a half cycle of the A.C. power, so that the control of the phase of the output voltage of the converter with respect to the A.C. power supply is started at any moment.

3-Phase converter apparatus

A method of operating a three-phase converter to produce a signal at an output frequency by decoupling and digitally sampling inverter input signals and load voltage signals and feeding the resultant phase signals back into the inverter. The phase voltages activate switching elements in the inverter to switch signals a plurality of times within one cycle of the output frequency thus changing electrical power at a first frequency, including direct current, to A.C. power at the output frequency.

The present invention relates to a power source apparatus for supplying a stabilized D.C. output to an inverter. In a D.C. power source apparatus for an inverter comprising a forward power conversion circuit receiving commercial A.C. power supply for outputting D.C. power such as a thyristor rectifying circuit and control circuit for controlling the D.C. output voltage of said forward power conversion circuit, the disclosed D.C. power source apparatus for an inverter is provided with feedforward control circuit detecting the D.C. input current to the inverter. The D.C. current input to the inverter or a current equivalent thereto is detected by the feedforward control circuit as a detection signal, and based on this detection signal, an A.C. component virtually in phase with the A.C. component input to the inverter is output from the forward power conversion circuit, and thereby, the D.C. voltage ripple to the inverter is decreased.

A control circuit for a power conversion apparatus, e.g., inverter and cycloconverter, which produces sinusoidal alternating current (AC) power through multiple switching operations of switching devices within a cycle and supplies the power to a load. The control circuit includes a current control minor loop for controlling the instantaneous value of the output current of the power conversion apparatus in compliance with a current reference value which is determined as the sum of the load current component determined basing on the detected value of load current, and the modification current component produced by a voltage controller to current error of output line voltage of said power conversion apparatus with respect of a sinusoidal voltage reference, whereby the output voltage of the power conversion apparatus is controlled accurately to have less distortion against harmonics of the load.

Control circuit used for a power conversion apparatus

A device for supplying a control terminal of a three-terminal controllable electric valve connected between positive and negative lines. The device includes a transformer having a primary and a secondary windings, a first capacitor connected to the primary winding, and a second capacitor connected with the secondary winding. The first capacitor is adapted to be charged when the electric valve is turned off and to discharge through the primary winding when the electric valve is turned on. The current induced in the secondary winding by the discharging current is supplied, as an operating current, to the circuit for driving the electric valve.
