There is provided a press machine capable of simplifying a slide drive mechanism. The press machine comprises: a slide supported so as to be reciprocally movable; a crankshaft arranged along a longitudinal direction of the slide and having a plurality of eccentric parts; a drive unit configured to rotate the crankshaft; a plurality of yokes and each provided to each of the eccentric parts of the crankshaft and configured to reciprocate, due to rotation of the crankshaft, along a moving direction of the slide; and a plurality of points each connects each of the yokes to the slide, wherein at least one of the plurality of yokes is connected to the slide via some of the plurality of points arranged along a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the crankshaft.

A gas cushion device includes a cylinder, a piston slidably fitted in the cylinder, a gas enclosed in the cylinder to energize the piston, and an oil feeding mechanism configured to feed a lubricating oil to a fitting portion between the cylinder and the piston. The cylinder and the piston are fitted in an interference fit state. The piston is reduced in diameter from an inside of the cylinder toward the outside of the cylinder.

A transfer mechanism includes a rail, first and second tables on the rail, first and second arms each having a base pivotably supported by the first and second tables, respectively, and first and second drive mechanisms that move the first and second tables along the rail, respectively. The first and second arms are pivotaly connected to each other at a position between a tip side and a base side. Tip side portions of the first and second arms than a connected portion of the first and second arms serve as fingers for holding a workpiece. The first and second drive mechanisms independently move the first and second tables, respectively. A relative movement of the first and second tables causes the first and second arms to operate a clamp/unclamp operation. A coordinated movement of the first and second tables causes the first and second arms to perform an advance/return operation.

A dynamic balance device for a press machine includes a plurality of cam portions which transmit a vertical motion of a slide to a balance weight to move the balance weight in a reverse direction of the vertical motion of the slide. The cam portions are each movable in a direction substantially orthogonal to a moving direction of the slide, and each include a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The first inclined surface has an inclination angle corresponding to an inclination angle of an inclined surface formed on a member which is provided integrally with the slide and vertically moves with the slide. The second inclined surface has an inclination angle corresponding to an inclination angle of an inclined surface formed on the balance weight.

An internal combustion engine includes: a cylinder block in which a cylinder is formed; a cylinder head including an intake port and an exhaust port, the cylinder head being integrally formed with the cylinder block; a water jacket covering circumferences of the cylinder, the intake port, and the exhaust port; a partition wall dividing the water jacket into a cylinder block side and a cylinder head side; and a knock sensor mounting boss provided on a side surface of the internal combustion engine, at a position on an extension line of the partition wall.

An engine structure is provided that basically includes a cylinder block, an oil circulation pathway and a lubricating oil reservoir. The cylinder block has an upper end for receiving a cylinder head, a lower end for receiving an oil pan, and a crankshaft receiving portion. The oil circulation pathway is arranged to convey lubricating oil by gravity to at least an area located above the crankshaft receiving portion of the cylinder block for supplying lubricating oil to a crankshaft. The lubricating oil reservoir is arranged to store lubricating oil. The lubricating oil reservoir has an open top end for receiving downwardly flowing lubricating oil. The open top end of the lubricating oil reservoir is arranged relative to the oil circulation pathway such that lubricating oil spilling out of the open top end of the lubricating oil reservoir falls into the oil circulation pathway.

This invention is intended to provide a large-capacity servo press apparatus driven by multiple motors, the servo press apparatus enabling a drive at a high efficiency and with reduced torque pulsations in a simple structure. The disclosed servo press comprises a slide that is moved up and down by a plurality of crank structures (including eccentric rings and connecting rods), main gears that drive the crank structures, a plurality of drive gears interlinked with the main gears directly or indirectly, intermediate gears interlinked with the main gears directly or indirectly, and servo motor sets connected to drive shafts to drive the drive gears. The present invention provides a slide guide for a press which comprises a gib structure with a spherical surface. The gibs are formed on a frame of the press. The spherical surface is provided with a holder or a cap to cover the spherical surface. The surface contacts are formed between the spherical surface bodies and the gibs or between the caps and the gibs. Forming spherical contact surfaces prevents damage to the sliding surface. This slide guide provides uniform, secure contact at a sliding surface of a press and prevents uneven contact. The spherical surface body can be easily installed and can adapt to deformation of the slide and prevent damage to the sliding surface.
