A detachable gas analyzing apparatus has a plurality of gas analyzer units insertable into and removable from a the front side of a container case. Complementary electrical and gas connectors are disposed on the rear side of the gas analyzer units and the container case. Guides and engaging rails guide the gas analyzer units as they are inserted into the container case. The gas connectors are substantially self-aligning by the provision of complementary tapered portions formed on gas sockets and plugs. The gas connectors also align the electrical connectors and provide compensation for linear misalignment. A plurality of gas connectors may also be employed, forming a number of inward and outward gas passages.

Detachable gas analyzing apparatus

A method and apparatus for analyzing fluid by a multi-fluid modulation mode is characterized by subjecting a plurality of sample fluids (which may be different or a single sample fluid divided into a plurality of systems) to a fluid modulation by reference fluids at various frequencies, respectively. An analytical portion provided with only one sensor is simultaneously and continuously supplied with the respective sample fluids. An output signal from the sensor in the analytical portion is divided into signal components of the respective modulation frequencies for the respective sample fluids to rectify and level, whereby obtaining analyzed values about the respective sample fluids is achieved.

Apparatus for analyzing fluid by multi-fluid modulation mode

A method for analyzing fluid by a multi-fluid modulation mode is characterized by subjecting a plurality of sample fluids (which may be different or a single sample fluid divided into a plurality of systems) to a fluid modulation by reference fluids at various frequencies, respectively. An analytical portion provided with only one sensor is simultaneously and continuously supplied with the respective sample fluids. Method for analyzing fluid by multi-fluid modulation mode

A fluid analyzer having a light source, a cell for receiving fluid to be analyzed and reference fluid and positioned to receive light from the light source, a detector positioned for receiving the output from the cell, and a light source body having inner reflective walls with a curved profile in the direction extending between the light source and the cell for forming a first focal point at one end thereof and a second focal point at the other end thereof. The light source is positioned in the light source body substantially coincident with the first focal point, and the other end of the light source body extends around the end of the cell which is toward the light source and with the second focal point within the cell.

Fluid analyzer

The absorption analyzer of the type provided with light sources (3a, 3b), cells (1, 2) containing a reference gas and an ingredient gas to be measured, respectively and a detector (5) for determining the absorption of the light emanating from the light sources and passing through the cells, is additonally equipped with a gas filter (8) arranged in the optical path between said light sources and the detector and contains an ingredient gas with an absorption spectrum band that nearly corresponds to that of an ingredient gas to be measured or an ingredient to be measured. The advantage of the invention is that a relatively large range of concentrations of gas ingredients can be measured with the same type of cells having the same cell length.

Absorption analyzer

A non-dispersive infrared analyzer for determining the concentration of two components of a sample fluid. A zero fluid and a sample fluid are alternately supplied to two cells. Two pneumatic detectors are respectively optically arranged in series with two light sources such that the two cells are respectively sandwiched between the two light sources and the two detectors. At least one filter whose passband corresponds to the absorbtion bands of one of the two components of the sample fluid is located directly adjacent to and optically in series with at least one of the two cells.

Non-dispersive infrared analyzer

A non-dispersion type infrared analyzer for simultaneously determining plural components of a sample fluid, wherein a standard fluid and a sample fluid are alternately supplied in a cell and a plurality of pneumatic detectors, each of which corresponds respectively to one component to be determined, are arranged optically in series with respect to a light source. The extremely troublesome zero-adjustment, adjustment of the phases and re-adjustment of the compensation for eliminating the influences of interference components due to changes in the zero-drift or the deviation of phases are not required.

Non-dispersion type infrared analyzer for simultaneously determining

A gas analyzer includes a first conduit for the supply of gas to be tested, a second conduit for the supply of a standard gas, first and second cells, a light source for directing light rays through the first and second cells, and a detector for receiving the light rays after passing through the cells. There is provided a gas flow change-over device connected to the first and second conduits for alternating at fixed intervals between a first gas supply arrangement wherein fixed amounts of gas to be tested and the standard gas are simultaneously supplied to the first and second cells, respectively, and a second gas supply arrangement wherein the fixed amounts of the gas to be tested and the standard gas are simultaneously supplied to the second and first cells, respectively.

Gas analyzer

An optical system for a spectroscopic analyzer. The system has a light source, a detector and a sample cell connected in a line, and in the sample cell or between the sample cell and one of the other elements is a light chopper device. The light chopper has a rotating element in the form of a disc-shaped member or members which periodically block light from the light source and pass light during the times it is not blocked. The rotating element is driven by a motor on the outside of the structure.
