A satellite receiving converter of the present invention performs receiving operation in response to a pulse signal supplied from a tuner. To prevent an amplitude of the pulse signal from being largely reduced in the receiving operation, the satellite receiving converter includes a trap circuit made up of an inductor and a capacitor. The trap circuit is provided after a low-pass filter which divides a pulse signal and a direct-current voltage supplied to a regulator IC. The trap circuit is provided so as to raise impedance with respect to the pulse signal at a signal input-output terminal, thereby preventing error operation of an internal circuit, such as a control circuit.

There can be provided an LNB converter including a multilayer substrate formed of more than two layers, capable of providing adequate transit characteristic for any frequency, and a multilayer substrate. A microstrip line is provided at one surface layer's pattern and a second layer's pattern cooperating with the surface layer's pattern to sandwich a dielectric layer underlying the surface layer's pattern. Multi-layer-substrate and satellite broadcast reception apparatus

An LNB (low noise block down converter) that can have a plurality of receivers connected includes a conversion unit receiving a plurality of types of polarized wave signals transmitted from each of a plurality of satellites to convert the plurality of polarized wave signals into a plurality of intermediate frequency signals, an amplify switch connected to the conversion unit to receive the plurality of intermediate frequency signals as inputs, and having a plurality of outputs connected to a plurality of output ports, respectively, determining a status according to a select signal and providing an amplified intermediate frequency signal, and a first control unit receiving digital serial data to select a satellite from an external source via an output port and providing a select signal according to the digital serial data.
